  1. I'm actually with Anoebis & Ormion on this one. We have shitloads of sunny uplifting melodically swirling morning(ish) goa but the "darker" side is a bit underrepresented. We'd need something close in atmosphere and sound to the likes of Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger, most Psychaos, Slide, Cydonia, UX, Orichalcum, Process, later MFG etc to balance out the musical palette. Not that there's anything wrong with melodic morning goa, some of it seems to be even a bit too melodic at times And there's not that much goa at bigger festivals, aside from Filteria ( unless I'm totally blind, which I might well be ) PortaMento is if not entirely dark, at least leaning towards the direction. The same with Morphic Resonance. Psy-H Project is a confusing hybrid of darkpsy basslines and goa melodies.
  2. Did you get the version with the fixed CD 1? Anyway, nice album, even if it's quite "dark" or "harsh" by AVP standards
  3. Hidria Spacefolk! Yeah, they've been making consistently crap music since day one. Sorry, I just don't like their sound.
  4. Turlitava 1 & 2 The music sounds a bit weird since I have a flu and my ears aren't working properly
  5. Aes Dana - Aftermath VA - Accidental Occidentalism
  6. Both Principles Of Flight albums. How much does it actually contain classical music? Strictly speaking I mean.
  7. Second to last track on The Astral Files, 1996 if we start nitpicking
  8. Oh, and BTW... Why didn't you include "Electronic" along with "Ambience"? Not that I'd vote for either but for completeness' sake
  9. Well that's always an issue up for debate (well, actually, no it isn't...). The compilation "Trust In Trance 3" (which on later pressings became AP's "Trust In Trance" album, even with the same Phonokol Cat# but no Trust In Trance Records Cat# and all tracks credited to AP intead of AP/SFX/Aban Don) was AFAIK released before "The Astral Files". Also, it would make sense at least to me to release an album with remixes after the originals have been released but you never know But I'd say that Trust In Trance is usually seen as AP's first album.
  10. Still Dreaming (Anything Can Happen) Visions of Nazca (Ambient Mix) from Raja Ram's Pipe Dreams The Astral Files is not their first album.
  11. Music keeps popping up in my dreams on a semi-constant basis. Most recently, last night in my dream I was fiddling around with a guitar and an amp, and perhaps some kind of band was involved but the details are a bit hazy (as usually with dreams). And I've also made lots of kickass tracks in my dreams, only to forget them the instant I wake up
  12. Well maybe not directly psy-related. She's done some collaborative work with Bluetech.
  13. Marina Sostaric (Sectio Aurea, Argot Digamma)
  14. No hardware synths? (not that it really matters nowadays anyway, just asking out of pure interest) Oh, and looks like you're probably playing at the only Finnish festival I won't be able to go to it seems...
  15. Pi Kiviharju (Lilith) Mel & Sam (Astralasia) Yulia Levchenko (NeiRula, Sphingida) Jaqcueline Kersley (Ishq, Ishvara, Elve) Natasha Chamberlain (worked with Seb Taylor on a few of his projects) Alla Vagner (Maiia) Rena Jones Zoe Jackson (Z To A) Sastra Rothfield (Raja Ram's daughter, worked on a few projects with the GMS guys in the '90s)
  16. Not implying that there wouldn't be any other great tracks on it
