  1. Wow. Memories from 20 years ago o.O
  2. Not me at least. They don't make music quite like this anymore, or do they?
  3. Well I don't know about "best" since both of these are quite cheesy (but I couldn't think of any others...)
  4. Kino Oko has a funding campaign for his upcoming album at Pledgemusic: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/amazingjourney I donated already, you should too
  5. That's the problem with text as your only medium of communication. Text doesn't sound like anything, you lose the tone of voice. And no, this isn't literature. Oh well. Time to get this derailed thread back on topic, right?
  6. Yeah, I very much dislike it when someone tries to force feed me something, be it music, drugs, ideologies, religion, whatever.
  7. This was meant as "don't bother going through the trouble of digging up the track from somewhere and uploading it as I probably won't be interested anyway". Then radi starts calling me a "not a goa trance fan" out of nowhere, just because I'm not interested in hearing a track from an artist whose personal output apart from his remixes I'm not that fond of. That makes me a "not a MWNN fan" at most, but to label me as a non-fan of an entire genre (that, yes really, did save my life back in the days) based on this is fucking ridiculous. Of course I get pissed off at this nonsense, especially coming from radi who likes to stir things up anyway he can.
  8. Kurbeats is the best thing to happen to psychedelic downtempo in ages. Buy it, you won't regret it.
  9. I don't recall Laughing Buddha having any other tracks even half as fantastic as this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95LMcORM5Pc
  10. No. I'm a goa fan who doesn't give a fucking damn about what you think. Just shut up, OK? This music saved my life, LITERALLY. Still that doesn't mean I should worship anything under the sun labeled as "goa trance". Most of it (like most of everything) is mediocre at best. Yes, I'm picky, but so what? Life goes on. I need sleep.
  11. No. An opinion. I said MOST of his own tracks are quite meh. Teleport is a fucking masterpiece, nothing else from him comes even close. Voices and Lunar Cycle are two older goodies, Sugar Rush in its both versions is kinda nice in all its cheesiness The rest is rather meh. But his remixes <3 Can't find it on youtube.
  12. Most of Man With No Name's own tracks are quite meh, his remixes are where he shines.
  13. Total Eclipse - Delta Aquarids and Violent Relaxation. Especially VR CD 2, not my cup of chill goa ( and especially Espanolizer, don't like that track at all )
  14. No it's not But yeah, most of his best tracks are collabs and it seems like he's been going a steady downhill with his music. I have the first 4 albums; Sonic Mandala is great and among the first goa trance CDs I bought so of course it'll be one of those special albums for me. Nuclear Fission Chips is great, collab with Avi Algranati http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_ECDvI0Tzk
  15. Aliens (for a goa trance choice) Harbinger (for a downtempo choice) And of course, Nakano Ghost (but youtube seems not to have the full version, only the cut version from Twisted's Eclipse compilation).
