  1. Simon Posford, from his first ever (as far as I can remember) gig in Finland on 20.04.2002. The first and to date only autograph I've ever got, that's why I have it framed Anyone else?
  2. I think it's more a laugh towards the tendency to use a simple break -> triplets as a cheap "wow" factor (trust me, I've seen it on the dancefloor numerous times). Nothing wrong with triplets used in good taste, but those breaks, THOSE GODDAMN BREAKS, THEY'RE FUCKING EVERYWHERE (and as pointed out in the video, lead to the exact same thing, or maybe the exact same thing with one extra fart noise). Been a while since I last heard this. Fucking brilliant :DD Israeli baba plur shanti om. Eww, I could barely stand the 2 first minutes and had to stop after 3.
  3. Does this count? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2SFugfbvK0
  4. I have that same silver blue room sticker (maybe a few of them, haven't checked my CDs in a while), and a shitload of Aleph Zero, Altar Records and Suntrip stickers. I think I have a sheet of Shpongle mask stickers somewhere but I'm not sure, one of the stickers is on my gig laptop. Maybe I'll take pics when I get less lazy.
  5. Well this is by no means an absolute top 10 but rather a varied list of what I'd take with me in cases B and C, I'll maybe post case A later. Androcell - Entheomythic Banco de Gaia - Last Train To Lhasa (3 CD Limited Edition) Cosmosis - Cosmology Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger Husky Rescue - Ghost Is Not Real Ozric Tentacles - Waterfall Cities Shpongle - Are You Shpongled? The Future Sound of London - Lifeforms Vataff Project - Kalitz Maaya Sakamoto - 30minutes night flight
  6. Yeah I was just feeling needlessly witty it seems. I'll see if I can throw together a list... Do I have to limit myself to goa/psy/downtempo?
  7. If a small bag is all I'd have I'd take my external HD with me with my entire CD and download collection. And my headphones. I mean, if I'd have to take some CDs with me, a CD player would be needed to play them. Likewise, if I take a USB HD with me, somebody sure has a computer to plug it into Sorry for taking this literally :DD Edit: actually wtf am I thinking, I'd take my OWN laptop goddamnit (it has all my music aswell)
  8. Well I honestly fail to see how this is either goa or ambient. The original track is pure psychedelic/space rock, and this remix is quite faithful to the original with some added tweaks.
  9. When did you see him play? He was in Helsinki last march and he seemed quite into it when playing. Maybe I just didn't notice him smoking and going on and off the stage...
  10. Was in my top 10 aswell. Nice oldschool vibes
  11. Maybe my dancing/jamming on stage is basically because I like to play sets that I'd like to hear myself on the dancefloor, not because I'd seek attention, or because I'd have any urge to be a showman (actually, most of the time I plain and simply HATE being on stage, and lately it seems I suffer from more and more stage fright...). If someone catches on to that energy, good. But I know that many people go into themselves on the dancefloor (I do that too) so I'm not deliberately asking for reactions to what I do. I still need to work on my skills in reading the audience though...
  12. Finnish (native) Swedish (native, although used less and less these days) English I know some Japanese, German and French but not on a level I'd call "being able to communicate"
  13. Then I have to suggest Harax - Inly. I don't think there's one single acoustic instrument on the entire album. Beautiful music.
  14. Zeta Reticuli: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3aAacL_hV0 Much much better than the Lazy Spiral Remix which is just too harsh to my ears. This on the other hand is smooooth and hits me in just the right spot.
  15. Yep, one of the nicest downtempo/psybient/whatever albums in recent memory.
