Ordered now. All seems good!

Is anyone having any issues trying to order this CD from the Suntrip shop? I can't get to the payment screen after the address / details one. Clicking the "Next step" button does nothing. It was working o.k. a few days ago when I ordered "Warming freeze."

Finally got the only Suntrip release I was missing! Initially held off buying this until I had all the "regular" albums, but when I eventually came to buy it, they were sold out. So glad that a few more copies have surfaced!!!

I buy most of my music from Arabesque. They're great to deal with & have incredible offers from time to time. (Like £1.99 for an album!)

Can't wait for this one!

It's a great release. I've got it on double CD, mixed by Tsuyoshi.

Shakta - Silicon Trip Hallucinogen - Twisted Doof - Let's Turn On Prana - Cyclone Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite Runner up - The Infinity Project - Feeling Weird There are other albums I now own from that period that are as good as some of these, but these are my favourites as I bought them on CD in the 90s and they have stayed with me ever since. I can't think of 10 favourite tracks as I play music an album at a time and don't take much note of tracks individually.

These are the main Goa labels I bought music from in the 90s: Dragonfly Records (U.K) Matsuri productions (Japan) Twisted Records (U.K) Blue Room Released (U.K) T.I.P. Records (U.K) Concept In Dance (U.K) My local Goa night was Spacehopper in Birmingham, so my choices reflect who played there I guess. (Shakta / Digitalis & Tsuyoshi were favourites.)

Fantastic album!

Love this album. I much prefer this kind of Goa, with much more subtle melodies to Filteria - for example. The groove is more important than melody, IMO. Top release!

It's a shame you didn't enjoy the Earthdance party. I know Shakti from Trancendance put a lot of effort into it and it looks like it got some very good responses on Facebook. I've seen some photos and video clips and it looked like there was a great atmosphere there... but - I'm afraid I wouldn't have enjoyed it much either... GMS & 1200 Mics? No thanks. I'm amazed anyone still likes this cheesey nonsense. GMS may have been good once, back in the 90s, but 1200 Mics - a joke band surely? A lot of the music played local to me doesn't excite me much either, but there are a few exceptions. Triplicity in particular have been putting on some excellent mini-festivals near the Welsh border, with main stage music that runs through from Breaks & laid back Techno, through Zenonesque Prog, Full-On, Twilight, Forest, Darkpsy and Hi-tech. That works well for me! There are some London nights that appeal too - the Parvati / Psynon night 7th November looks amazing but it's the night before the Suntrip 10 Year Anniversary party (where I will be for sure!) in Nottingham and I can't manage both!

Having a down-tempo / chill-out track at the end of a Goa or Psytrance album can be good if you are just listening to the one album, but I often find I'm getting impatient, hopping from one foot to the other, waiting for the slow track to finish, so I can get started playing the next up-tempo CD and get back into the trance-groove. I realise I could skip the last track, but I'm all for playing an album in it's entirety.

I'm happy to pay 10-18 Euros for a CD. I will pay more for special releases, but because I buy a lot of music and most CDs I can get for 13 Euro from Arabesque (via Amazon)with next day delivery, I don't like paying over the odds or using Bandcamp etc, as I never know how long deliveries will take and don't always get confirmation e-mails to know the order has been received. It's way more convenient to buy most of my music from one trusted source. I do feel a little guilty not buying direct from labels more - but by the time you add in the shipping from overseas, I'm spending sometimes half the price of another CD on top and will have to wait longer for the album to arrive. I'll continue to buy music on CD only for as long as they are produced! It's an interesting point about film. My brother for example buys loads of DVDs and Blu-Ray movies, but free downloads (almost) all of his music. I guess it depends where your passions lie. I love music, but have little interest in film. As far as the cinema goes - I think some people are happy to pay for the social experience and huge screen, even though they can download a pirate of the movie for free.

Great album! Typical Goasia, but with a fuller and more polished sound! Superb.

I used to dislike trance faster than about 155bpm, but to be honest, I don't think I'd given it enough of a chance. After listening to loads of Darkpsy I've come to appreciate higher BPM music. It takes a bit of exposure to get the feel for it, I reckon, but I found it worth persevering. I'm now loving (some) Hi-tech at 210BPM.

Digitally - I only have a dozen albums or so ripped to my ipod shuffle and change them periodically. All my music is on CD.

There were some class Goa acts playing, inc. Hallucinogen, Medicine Drum, Doof, Tribal Drift, Slinky Wizard, Technossomy & Tsuyoshi. The sound levels were o.k. to start with, but at midnight or 2am or something, they dropped the sound waaaaay down. Too much, as they were big stages and the energy was lost.

Some of his music is great, but for me it's marred by the really commercial cheese he released on Perfecto Fluoro, such as "The First Day (Horizon)" & "Paint A Picture." For that reason he doesn't rank highly in my list of fave producers. I saw him live at Universe's Big Love in the '90s, but sadly his set was spoiled by ridiculously low volume restrictions.

Yeah, love Goch's album! Ghreg On Earth's "Photon Grimoires" is great, continuing his rather unique style. Heavily influenced by dubstep, but in a good way! I just bought "Brazilian Shamans" on Woo-Dog Recordings. 2CDs of immense night-time tunes! Brainzcrew 3 is decent, too.

I don't have an issue with it myself in the main. The scene did start in Goa after all, so I think at least some claim to Hindu imagery is justified and, as has been said already, some artists follow Hindu or Buddhist philosophies. I'm not keen when an album covered in Hindu Icons and with spiritual wisdom quoted on the inlay has ridiculous TV vocal samples, a proliferation of swear words and that kind of thing. That I feel is disrespectful.

Braincell - yes! Headroom - doesn't float my boat all that much.
