Just a quick sentence to this music. Such a nice varied psychedelic trance album i haven't heard for some time. Give it a shot, its classic, its different, its fun, its growing, journeyesque and trippy. I will write a more detailed review the next days, in the meantime have fun. Cheers *press repeat*

oh man pauleye, did u listen to all u posted? my favs: Soulacybin - Gratitude great mix of bass-music, beautiful compositions and imaginative storytelling Kaminanda - Liminal Spaces my favourite psybient producer in the last time. i love how he blends various downtempo grooves with ethereal, eastern-influenced melodies and soundpatterns. always evolving, never wasting time, a musical genius Sephira - Monkey Tales a great follow up of his first effort. dreamy, gloomy downtempo trance on the relaxing side of the medal. if u haven't heard one of his albums do urself a favour Gus Till - Ghosts of the Earth oldie and visionary. a beautiful fusion of ambient, world, space and dance rhythms The Alien Jams my most played downtempo music this year. while some may be distracted by the samey, sometimes generic fusion of downtempo bass and guitarjamming i simply love this release. 80 minutes of relaxing Gilmouresque guitarjamming with contemporary bassgrooves and some farts is what i want. great to have sex to

yeah, i'm totally aware of that. nevertheless, i've never seen suntrip promoting any of their releases as limited editions. anyway, i'm kind of upset seeing tons of unnecessary cd-releases. i understand that pressing on physical format may be something like a accolade for producers, but really, is it useful to produce such amounts of garbage, ie hundreds of unsold cd's? a mix of classics released a hundred times which are still affordable? and i also don't think that this release is meant for all the thousands new goa-chicks who really search for oldschool from the so-called golden age on cd. if so, they forgot that young chicks don't buy cd's my advice: release only the best from the best from the best from the best physically, we produce enough trash these days

hmm, Subcouds, yummy, that's why i like analog goa from back in the days. don't like the voice so much, but when the track reaches the middle part i'm torn away in this subtle melody. very nicey 7/10

too cliched? i don't know what psychill u listen to, but in my book it's the most diverse genre in the psychedelic territory anyway, this year gave us again some very nice releases my favourite till now is Ajja+Cosmosis with their Giger Alien Jam's i also recommend to give Kaminanda a few spins (one of today's talented producers imo), his music crosses so many borders easily

"robotic music with human emotion" perfect balance between driving full-on psy, acidic night-time power, subtle melodic hooks and some goa sprinkles here and there at the top of this year's psytrance releases from the mothership of twilight trance really, i cannot find a gripe here, the Android Spirits found a nice mixture of what classic psytrance is made of without bordering commercial full-on lala curious to hear this on a proper sound system, at new year's eve this will get a few spins for sure thanks Till and Tickets, kudos Timecode, and btw, great review MdK

Skizologic Adrenochrome BMSS Records September 2014 1. Adrenochrome 2. Space Rhythm 3. Atmosphere 4. Skizologic & BrightLight - Dreams are a form of Consciousness BMSS Records caught me by surprise. It was Sephira's new release which brought me to the label's Bandcamp page and showed me that there is not only Ovnimoon who tries to capture wide ranges of different psy-genres. This is worth a surf, even Suntrip fanboys could find a treat. So... Skizologic. Some of you might heard of him. He is a Goa aficionado who traveled also with Zion604 Records. And while I haven't heard his output before I can tell you that he has balls! Adrenochrome is a Full-Power-Space-Trance Package with a great amount of Psy. The tracks move foreward in a futuristic laser tunnel full of flashing lights and rumbling bass like the cover may imagine. Goa hints here and there appear to remind you that Psytrance can be more than either Goa or Full-On. My favourite is the second track. While I synchronize with the Space Rhythm I feel like a boxer who can stand a thousand punches without falling. Every effect hits right in my face but I will stumbledance further through the neurotunnel. The middle-break gives me all the power I need to defend my space in overcrowded dancefloors. So far this is my outdoor-power-psybomb of the year! Thanks Skizologic! Well done BMSS, this EP is a great catch! Curious? Have a listen here...

i got a Stanton T.62 one year ago and i'm really satisfied with it. i'm playing vinyls only from time to time, when i can take the time to fully appreciate audio-experiences. no scratching, no djing, no picky audiojunky here. so, answers to your question depend on what you want to have (special gimmicks, special look, special something) and what you want to do (listen, look, scratch, pitch, mix). for simply listening through a standard hifi-system the Stanton should work, it is good-looking and pricey. only minus: no plastic cap or the like, you have to cover it up with some sort of... stuff

Anix Gleo - Fatum well, maybe readers here could know it since i mentioned it few times, so, this would fit better in the thread "Albums from the last 4 years no one seems to care about" but i couldn't find the topic. anyway, great crossover of styles and influences, perfect for uncommon psyheads and home/car-listening.

Then try Soulacybin's first output Self-Existing Earth, released in 2012 at Psyderweb Records. (If yes, please let me know what you have in mind!) This caught me by surprise with its heavy Roots-Dub influence, mixed with downtempo atmospheres and overall nice songwriting. This is John LaBoone's second appearance and it's as good as the first. Or better. Well... let's say different. While the influence from Jamaican Dub dominated his first output, you will hear much more contemporary Bass Music here. Psydub, Psystep, Glitch, sometimes something from everything in one track. Mostly combined with classic downtempo structures but always with a psychedelic touch and well-placed instrumentations. The sound is much more evolving throughout the tracks, they change in tempo, rhythm, feeling. My personal highlight is Sundari, its bass-parts vary constantly, psyfarts remember that we're in psychedelic territory, short melodic excursions travel to the beaches of Jamaica, Goa and.. ehm Egypt? Of course you can hear similarities to some of psychedelic-mid/downtempo's grandfathers, but inspiration also comes from where inspiration exists, right? So, you like downtempo stuff but with a strong emphasis on bass-work? Give it a shot! Namely here!

not exactly the last, but amazing one: "Once upon a forest" from Luc Jacquet beautiful insight into the rainforest and how their trees channel life. animations which try to focus the evolution of single events i found quite irritating in the beginning, but once u get used to them they interact nicely with the flow and intention of the story
