  1. oh people, you should read which future projects are coming from DAT. reminder: more pledge, less wait
  2. hi draeke, i was waiting for such a question for quite a time now an i'm really happy that you come up with this! give a fuck about the pirates and release some truly golden gems on vinyl. i'm definitely broke this month but i promise you to contribute this project next month! btw, no big etnica-homie here, but you have to support the max of audio listen all you artists and labels: stop releasing all your stuff-per-recipe on cd! keep it digital! press only awesome stuff! and keep the jewels for the most-biggest-hitting-facing-and-sought-after-vinyl!!
  3. doing sports! back then i loved the weekly physical outburst now i'm more relaxed, listening to some music...
  4. since i resist to buy endless amounts of physical cds i listen to alot of free stuff. nothing new to mention that ektoplazm is a incredible perfect place to start your search through the net of digital-only releases where you'll find an endless amount of good music in the traditional and advanced downtmepo music. i always wondered why it's like that specifically in this genre and its bastards... i think because of less boundaries?
  5. uuh yeah, finally someone got his copy so, from where will all be shipped?
  6. exactly this! stop spamming our limited space no seriously, why not counting with the benefit of digital downloads? makes you tough to releasea even better stuff..

    Anix Gleo - Fatum

Artist: Anix Gleo Album: Fatum Label: Arkona Creation Year: 2012 Temperature: Hot 1. Free Style (12:21) 2. Daddy's Honest Dance (10:47) 3. Deep Sky (9:50) 4. Atonal (6:53) 5. Gleostep (6:23) 6. Highway Loop (8:47) 7. 1000000 Dollars (10:06) 8. Moon Dub (7:25) Goanerds, watch out! Since the music here contains keyboards, e-guitars and vocals, breakbeats, jazz and fullon-bass and NO overlayered-excessive-climatic-oldskool-melodies, you will problably not like this. But of course you can have a nice listen for a few minutes, ..hmm, say here. Alexander Liventsov is Anix Gleo and he is not known for having a shitful of releases with commercial-trance-crap or totally-spiritual-goatrance but just a bunch of experimental psytrance tunes, which speak through fun and funk. I came across this guy through Ektoplazm, where Sun Station Records promoted one of his EP's and this totally caught my attention. And while the pretaste was tasty, his debut album tastes even better. The Music here is a diverse journey through the cosm of psytrance with elements of broken beats, funk and jazz with a great portion of punk-attitude. Well, jazz-purists would probably hear not a single jazz tune here, punks expect amateurish recordings and technoheads often stick only to their favoured psystyle, ..but you know that experiments with elements of differing music-genres can be too challenging for some. But once you're hooked, you'll be on it for some time for sure! You won't be scared anymore to hear trumpets, oboes, guitars and keyboards playing, or women singing, all in your favourite bass-driven psychedelic trance. Okay, maybe you're right, there are parts which are too experimental or exxagerated, they last too long or the melody should be a halftone higher, shorter, more beautiful and blablabla, but c'mon, this is a creative involvement with the standards of psytrance and the possibilities within. So stop nitpicking and give it a try, there is a lot to explore and don't forget that sometimes only multiple listens give you the real reward. Favourites? Well, i have some, but i'm pretty sure that this is highly subjective here and that everyone would favor another tune. Isn't this a sign of a great album? I think so! Anyway, my favourites are Atonal and Gleostep, they are shorter and to-the-point, the groovy melodies are clear and add a jazzy-freestyle-vibe to the tracks, while i like the incorporation of two handful of different instruments and sounds in a lengthy everchanging tune in Daddy's Honest Days best. It's like every element has something to say; they appear and chip in perfectly, to the vibe and to the flow. Anymore? Track-by-track? Cover? Artwork, gossip, and future plans, uhmm no, instead have a look at this promo. Anix Gleo is not just musician but also video and visual artist: Thank you Alexander! Fatum is a great one, it will please my ears and moods for a long time now!! Keep your cool and have fun in your musical career! I also want to thank Mike for his endless efforts in the review section. Hey, your stuff give me so many laughs and i'm having such a great time reading them. You're really on a run and i wish you best time on it. And now? Check this or this or maybe this...
  8. what a beautiful compilation! alot better than the first one, ahh what, no comparison between these two comps because these tracks here offer such a wide range of styles and sounds. it makes the listening a real pleasure. and on top there are some outstanding tunes (no. 5, 9, 10 - oh man, how i love this one, who are you Osmose?) which will be forever in my best-of-list. only thing i dislike are these esoteric chants (no. 2, 4). i would like these tracks alot more without it. but anyway, this is only taste, and when the whole tastes this good, i won't complain. if you like psychill there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO NOT HAVE A LISTEN TO THIS!! great tracks, great comp, great job. thanks to all involved!!
  9. honestly i'm not 100% sure what it was, but it might be Shiva Space Technology. my first buy was this.
  10. completely agree with what was written. progressive techno rarely so nice, great musicality, and Magic Mint is a beautiful track. don't forget to check out also their second EP Prompt, it's in the same vein and offers brilliant proghouse. i'm waiting for more...
  11. unbelievable but i discovered D5 not until these rereleases and while i'm not the biggest oldschool sucker i can tell you that this is a sound that captures true psytrance-experiences for me. hah, i'm sure i'm not the only one with these feelings but to discover this in 2013 is simply amazing. so, did i miss sth in the past? hell, no, when do you find a track that sums up all ur thoughts and feelings after years of following the music, the parties, the people? i'm very lucky - THANK YOU GANYMEDE !!!!
  12. really sorry to hear that coz i like the par2 stuff (neptune's garden is so awesomely awesome ). let's make a deal: keep at least a few of them and i will order a bunch in the future and share them under my friends. it will take some time but you'll have my word!

    S-range - Space

i'm listening to this right now after years and it still rocks my house. the first half is simply great, already with the first track S>Range conquers the room and shows how spacey psy with a drive should sound like. unfortunately the second half can't stand the power of the first, but it's still nice. if you never heard this before and you like original psytrance from the days when fullon took over give Space a spin, you might like it. btw, anybody knows what this guy is doing now?
  17. hehe, yeah, this makes you turning up your volume knob. forest goa? you can call it also subtle psytrance on the darker side. whatever, great grooves, thanks Noble Savage !!
  18. Yepp, also thanx alot !! I really like this EP, especially the artwork - Flying Rhino in its own league !
  19. Since this thread became something like my blog, I decided to cross the borders of the electronic genre and show you how great a mostly unknown Instrumental-Stoner-Rockband can sound like. Buddha Sentenza are 5 bearded fellows from different parts of Germany who met their creative alter egos in Highdelberg. Living from so-called "normal jobs" the time and money for extensive music making and producing is sparse, whereas their musical output is creative and a lot of fun, full of progressive and psychedelic (if you like these genre tags) retro-rock elements. This track here Kehakeeltekool is from their debut, with a great atmospheric story-telling video from one of the bandmembers. Listen loud and rock on: Homepage BTW: Music's free for Download
  20. stop bothering her change yourself never give up but... stop talking bout the same old things
  21. exactly this !! really, roll your phattest one, sit down in front of your boom machine and dive deeeep...
