i am not talking about the sound. every artist has its own unique sound.pleiadians have that totally outer galactic space sound and hallu has a more earthly subterranean sound. you can't make comparisons. BUT in terms of compositional skill and technique it is fairly objective to compare. pleiadians IMHO are for psy like beethoven for classical.they are true composers. everything is constantly changing:basslines,rythms,percussion,melodies.they utilise their equipment to the edge. hallu has huge detail in his sonic manipulations (among other things).

i still have one question since you don't clarify some things... did you judge on the mix,on the mastering,on the sequences,on the sounds and the presets...what? this is crucial in judging whether your colleagues were correct in their statement (what you wrote about foolishness) or not...

OK.but let's not forget that every kind of music is not only about technique. i don't know which tracks you played but if they found silly the other tracks by ap,mfg,im then they are missing the essence of the music...the call of the music...nevermind! if you focused in the technical side it is a crime not to play a pleiadians track. they are by far the most technical group in psy history ever.

tough question. i guess that there ain't such a thing as an entrancing track. to get into trance is a detailed ritual.it takes time.you must bring forth the connection that our spirit starves for. though, i must admit that some tracks are more hypnotic than others(this is the word). so for hypnotic, 2 tracks pop into my mind instantly: 1.koxbox - lunar bin 2.tristan - small paper squares both tracks are awesome,deep,hypnotic as hell.they suck you in different spiritual dimensions...

try cydonia-haunted world for a bit of extra psy flavor but the ultimate track for your case is analog pussy-mandocello warrior (killer track with dark mood and not too many psy elements) in fact i am listening to it right now and i imagine the scene you described and it fits perfectly great track i had forgotten...
