Actually I ditched it a few years ago because I thought it's not mature enough, but now I'm giving it a chance again. The jury is still out after one listen, but it's too bad there are 3 remixes of TIT tracks that sound too similar to the original ones, and I don't like the monks' growling on Free Tibet. Anyway we'll see and I'm not going to die even if AP lose it all with their forthcoming releases, because TIT, DG and AW are such classics that I'll be listening them for years.

Morphing sounds from one to another

Prosoniq Morph: http://products.prosoniq.com/cgi-bin/regis...detail&refno=41 Haven't tried it myself though. -
It kicks you in your nuts and takes your money. Or those money who have a habit of falling victim to the sex-sells-everything trap anyway.

I doubt their watered down style will get me excited. Oh well at least I have Trust in Trance, Dancing Galaxy and Another World.

The album as a whole pales in comparison to Trust In Trance, Dancing Galaxy and Another World.

Oops, it seems my memory didn't serve me well. Anyway I think it's stupid that so many ppl have used the same track name.

On the next Astral Projection album: AP feat. Duvdev on microphone - IM teh TranceMastah! (Can I get teh LSD trippah?)
-
Arne told me it will be quite different from their earlier stuff, whatever that means. Ah well, I'd prefer it to be like Scizoeffective, not Send In... Send Back because the latter reminds me of mono techno which usually makes me only sleepy nowadays.

In terms of your musical career, where do you think you are going to be in three years? Or do you just live one album at a time?

I prefer one of those Raja Ram edits on this forum on my mug.

In case you haven't already noticed, there are samples of Ka Sol's Fairytale at Suntriprecords.com, and they mostly sound promising. Deep and powerful trance that is so rare. The album is supposed to come out in two weeks; I can't wait to hear it.

Tumult was the first darkpsy/fullon album that I liked. They execute the stuff of the genres well and they have enough layers in their tracks to keep me interested. It'll probably be the only album of those genres I'll ever buy. That type of music is too quirky to form any large part of my daily musical diet anyway.

Hey that's the bassline everyone else is using too! If you don't use it, you risk alienating demanding and style-conscious listeners and dancers, and labels may not want to release your non-conformistic music. It's teh hot thing - if you ain't got it, you ain't nothing. I've got sick of those standard psy basses a loooong time ago and when ever I hear them I instinctively get prepared to press "next track" button when the rest of the standard show comes in.
-
Actually it says on the album cover "Alienated - FF". IMO it's a very good album, uncompromising rough trance, although some of the tracks are a bit too repetitive (or long, whichever way you want to see it) and a bit samey.

Many tracks on Astral Projection's Amen have clear Euro-cheese flavours and I don't like them at all. In addition their track Burning Up is Euro too. I do like beautiful and positive melodies, but usually they end up sounding cheesy. Or maybe it's just me? BTW, La Esperanza is a track released by Sven Vath in the 90s under the alias Balearic Bill.

Around the World in 80 Minutes was released only a year after 002: Avant.Garde. Will the next one come out so fast too? Do you make your living solely from music or do you have "normal" jobs too? What's the most serious blunder you've made at a gig? What's the funniest thing you've seen at a gig?

Cybernetika, you have no distinct names on the patters. Don't you ever get confused? -
Small tutorial: Fattening up Kick and Bass

Thanks for sharing, got to try that sometime. -
Everything that is a cliché, most importantly all kinds of drug refences and psy-something or something-psy, except Psykovsky, because it's so clever. I could adopt the name Psibelius because I'm from Finland and we have a classical composer called Sibelius. And then there is the class of highly refined taste, exemplified by the likes of Analog Pussy.

Haha, those Raja Ram edits were terrific. My face started to ache from all that laughing. Well done, guys! I find it disgusting that selling with sex is infiltrating in the psy trance too (and less commercial progressive trance). Well, the scene has changed quite a bit in the new millennium anyway.
