  1. The Delta MySpace page lists only Marcus as members. Arne & Wyan could be busy with Extrawelt and perhaps Marcus wanted to go solo again. I'm not worried about that development, because Marcus made Scizoeffective mostly alone and it's dynamite. In contrast, Send In... on which he worked with the Miliz was a bit flat in a couple of places.
  2. How come there's no topic about this here? It was announced over three weeks ago at their (or should I say his because I understand it's Marcus alone again) MySpace page. http://www.myspace.com/thedeltaisback I'm actually starting to like the three preview tracks that've been on the page for some time now. I really hope he's taken his time (and he certainly shoud've had enough time ) to polish it and make a worthy sequel to the two classics.
  3. A solid release of melodic newschool goa with a distinct Goasia touch. The style is a bit on the smoother side of goa (definitely not as in your face as Filteria or even Dimension 5's Transdimensional, for example), but still driving - as it should be. The tracks are satisfactorily varied. Very tasty (analog?) basses in Taboo and Per Aspera ad Astra. Sunrise's melodies remind me of oldschool trance (not goa). No complaints about the technical side of things as far as I can tell on my headphones; the sound is fat and balanced. On the minus side the intro track was unnecessary padding (it's not like Love & Peace started fullon) and I don't care much for the final downbeat track either. The vocal sample in From Other Spaces was a cheesy cliché. Favourites: Love & Peace, Octagon and Per Aspera ad Astra 8/10
  4. no comments male psytones das :(

  5. I don't like this type of oversymmetric artwork. It looks lazy and bland, a 1/4 section mirrored with a few minor alterations.
  6. You play ambient during classes? That's cool. Aes Dana - Aftermath and Memory Shell. I have heard some other Ultimae stuff (Asura, some Fahrenheit comps) and they didn't sound that good but Aftermath and Memory Shell are excellent, sublime atmospheres. Aftermath however is nigh impossible to find on CD but ambient.us is selling a digital version.
  7. Kraftwerk - inspiration for tons of producers Aphex Twin - need I say more? The Prodigy - one of the original big names Leftfield - started progressive house BT - had a great impact on trance
  8. Hopefully he won't get ripped off by drug addicts this time.
  9. Distance to Goa because of nostalgia. The DtG 1-3 collection was the first goa/psy record along with Astral Projection - Another World that I bought, in 1998 or '99.
  10. They aren't going to go electro because they write on MySpace that they don't like it at all.
  11. www.myspace.com/frogacult And it's not a fansite! :posford: There's a new tune there, mixture of ambient and acoustic instruments. Signature Frogacult deepness. Fantastic track, IMO. I really hope they start making music again. BTW, they haven't been making electro.
  12. Funnily enough I too ended up there a couple of days ago. ZOMG, now I get it: D5 posts an old track on YouTube with talk about a new album; Flying Rhino is coming back: 1+1 = 4! The new D5 album will be released on FR and it will be only one of the many glorious comeback albums heralding the rebirth of goa and psy! Astral Projection will ditch the cheesy fullon album they've been working and release a double album of pure goa! Infected Mushroom will publicly acknowledge losing the psy spirit and release Classical Mushroom 2! :drama: :drama: :drama:
  13. Pfft, obvious photoshoppery! Only Pope fanboys fall for that! Treacherous the dark side of DJing is. Genuine the skills learned are not. Much evil in the future see I!
  14. Funny retro sound. Perhaps more acid trance/techno than goa. Proto-goa? Says the video description: "From the archives of Yesterville here's East Dorset's finest Psychedelic / Goa / Trance act "Dimension 5" with "This Time Around". Coming soon! New Album! Gigs!" Faker? One of the D5 members?
  15. Well sure he is good at rousing the crowd like: but when it comes to actual DJing, it's all boring laptop "DJing": No scratching, no backspinning, no divine intervention, no nothin'.
  16. Well I think the Frozen Ghost cover is bad because it's amateurish and infantile.
  17. Featuring tracks by such goa gurus as Roman Rai, D-Nox & Beckers and Antix. YSE are really milking the goa brand for all it's worth.
  18. Samples or STFU. Seriously speaking, if it's as good as the track I'm Ready, it'll be awesome.
  19. Thanks Mars. Some of the videos, esp. the studio ones, could've been a bit longer, but I understand if the producers don't want their studio work filmed.
  20. Everybody has already said that dance in whichever way you like, so I don't have to repeat that (well ooops, I kind of did). I like to watch goa/psy people dancing for all the expressive, liberated moves. :posford: The funniest dancing I ever saw was at a techno/house party like 8-9 years ago. The guy looked like he was collapsing time after time and I mean vertically, not falling over to side like a cut tree. It's hard to describe, but it looked so funny. I actually had a chat with him at some point that night.
