  1. It took a while to grow on me, but it is a great record, IMO their best.
  2. Shpongle - Nothing Lasts Leftfield - Leftism Infected Mushroom - Classical Mushroom
  3. Last week it was written at suntriprecords.com that "Extracts will be posted next week." It's next week now. Where are the extracts?
  4. Finally. I'll leave feedback tomorrow. And congratz on the label's first major release!
  5. Nice movie. What was the funky psy house track that played when the boy & girl rode the jeep?
  6. Big thanks for sharing. I recently d/l'd four of your other tracks and they are very good. Hopefully this generosity earns you live gigs.

  8. They must have spent tens of thousands of dollars on their studio, unless they got the old analog gear in the early 90's when they were out of fashion and cheap. I wonder if their studio is insured? Yea it is thinner, but few of us have the dough for the gear and it's probably difficult to find fully functional units of some of the synths. The new psy doesn't have powerful melodies like 90's goa and psy - in fact dark psy is the antithesis of goa with its grey binary noise leads and atonal melodies, so boring. And the commercialization of psy... well, you get the drift.
  9. Their sound is insanely phat. Trantastic deep kicks & basses. I saw video of their studio and they had at least a few dozen different synths. There was a list of their equipment on the net, but I can't find it now.
  10. Very promising samples. ButIwantthefullreleaserighthererightnow! Keep up the good work!
  11. As for the Pleaiadians samples, I'm sorry I have to say they are far below the magic heights of I.F.O. and FOL. But then again, everybody already knew they couldn't make the melodies without the two other guys.
  12. Yes you can. Just download the m3u stream files to your computer instead of opening them in some audio player and open them in some word processor like Windoze WordPad and you'll find the download URLs in them.
  13. Ok it's already one day since you announced this. Isn't it time for audio samples now? Can't wait to hear this. And please tell us a bit about the Ra album too.
  14. Fallible science is no substitute for Omnipotent Faith. You indeed have lost the Divine Guidance, heretic. Neither track looks as dramatic in Goldwave: The fact is that their music is intense and multi-layered full-on goa, and it doesn't have as many calmer sections as for example Hallucinogen. If there is overcompression and limiting, it's not that bad IMO. There's still dynamics in the music and I can forgive them because of their musical excellence.

    IDM

It's ironic that Aphex Twin is held by many as a prime example of IDM and he himself dislikes the genre's name. He said in an interview that it's derogatory towards other genres, like "so this is intelligent music and the rest isn't?"
  16. Blasphemy! Officers of the Institution of Dogmatic Purity of Trance will visit your place soon to take you to the Institution's Correction Department for re-education.
  17. How about consulting the omniscient Wikipedia? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victory_sign http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corna http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hook_'em_Horns
  18. Noooooooooooooooooo! Prey indeed: Prey 1. To hunt, catch, or eat as prey: Owls prey on mice. 2. To victimize or make a profit at someone else's expense. 3. To plunder or pillage. 4. To exert a baneful or injurious effect: Remorse preyed on his mind. Sorry couldn't resist. Shiva willing, I will today complete my odyssey.
  19. Pleiadians - I.F.O. and Astral Projection - Trust In Trance Uncompromising depth and musicality and terawatts of energy. No cheese. So trippy. Wonderfully complex. They don't make music like that anymore. Of course there are other excellent albums, but those are creme de la creme.
  20. Great mix Anoebis. And no we mental people aren't extinct quite yet.
  21. I haven't heard those new tracks (got to listen to them), but IMO 170 is too fast. I like fast and powerful music, but at some point (a bit after 150), the music loses something. The faster you go, the less nuances you can have. And I don't really like hardstyle/freeform. It's too superficial and in many tracks there are cheesy strings and breakdowns. A definite no no for me.
