my first sequencer was also fruity although i already installed cubase a year before or so and tried to record rebirth with it. didnt go well cause my soundcards latency and cpu lol. so actually rebirth was the start.

how to make such vocals? what fx too use? sure reverb with little delay and distortion... but what is it, that makes it so special? gated reverb? non linear reverb? doesnt work for me the way i want it, im a noob at vocals, so please help. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T1OY4E2M

get pro tau 2 only has one osc, it sounds good but pro sounds so much better, only good thing is you get mdrive with tau 2, its a overdrive plugin, sounds cool

get 49 keays at least, if its available with such

what is the difference between taupro and tau 2?

140€ i think you find cheap ones at ebay though its great tool, you have 32 presets of 32 encoders and all those buttons, enough for every synth and your host controlls decent keyboard.. dunno, dont have a decent one, but read a few reviews and u know peace

how do you make your basslines? usually i just draw notes C in the lenght it fits the track, then i play around in the piano roll, while beat and some lead is playing. and so i just alter it and alter it til i find something that sounds special and suits the track. erase one here, one there, transpose, dunno, it comes while the track plays. automation i do live with midi controller. repeating automation i just draw aswell. how do you go on this challenge, with music theory?
