ah ok. best thing is like you said, disconnect everything and then follow the steps in your manual. they start with cpu installation, just follow all the steps. and for power connectors, watch out for + and - to connect properly. its the best sign of course. i did follow all the steps in my manual an didnt have a problem. so good luck
-
important is that all the wires areconnected, like said on your link sometimes they are put somewhere else in the connector to match. but onething you could check, if all on panel 1 are connected, and you press power button then the power led should glow. does it? check that first
-
alright, i can only take a pic when im at home, but how do your connectors look? how is your power led cable designed? like on the picture in faq? does power sw fit in? and it shouldnt be conected like on the pic, you have to turn the label the other way, so when everything is connected you still read the labels.
-
usually there it is labeled on both sides. look if you see any label, its written in short cuts, pwr means power and so on.

HAHAHAHA i can make music again, finally!! two weeks ago i my best friend told me over msn that he had spoken to his ex and confessed how he loved her and shit, she told him she has a new life and new boyfriend and stuff. he was pretty fucked upped and so we decided to fuck up our brains. we met at the trainstation, on my way there i saw my ex who i havent seen such long time, with new boyfriend, and i was so upset and disturbed, man why i see her this time? why? i did fit so perfect, that was no accident, no no no! and so we decided to totally fuck our brains with every drug that was available. yeah what we did then. i didnt really touch my synths since then. but today, man i played a bit around and i swear, never had come more impressive sounds out of my speaker than this patch i just made. Whoammmm i hope this positive and creative mood will last.

I have a BIG problem in FL6 :-(

they are, very popular and used all over the planet, dont worry. before you install read faq on site but if you already have asio drivers for your card, try a reinstall first. also check if something in your properties of fl changed. -

seems like latency problem. at first higher the latency in steps and check if its working. and of course use asio drivers, if you dont, try http://www.asio4all.com/ -
such setup makes jealous indeed can i listen to some of your music nemo?
-
alright i think you made a good choice. just look that everything fits together... powersupply connectors and stuff. also enough cooling is recomended
-
you have phoenix bios right? look here yourself http://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/BiosBeepCodes2.asp all bios beep codes can be found there. but you already want to upgrade dont you? and ram is definetly worth it.
-
you have one chance, from the beep noises it produces, the rythm, you can know if its really totaly destroyed. when you come home, note if they are short-short-long, for example. just note it. man the processor is really damn cheap, i never had an celeron myself but i guess it should do its work, if you must go on budget then its your choice. you can read at google about it, some test if you want.
-
just look at the chipset, if its anygood. the mb i suggested, i own myself, its the only cheap component in my system, buts its working really good, so if you want to go for something cheap, this should be yours. usually, the company (asrock) is cheap ass, but this one is working pretty good. does your pc make any beep noises when you start it? it should do.
-
this one does... http://www.asrock.com/product/775Dual-880Pro.htm and its damn cheap.. but there are also more.
-
what i wanted so before was that your gear is probaply too old, the soundcard sucks , so you might need to upgrade anyway. now you fried your MB. tell me what happens when you boot your pc? do you see anything on the screen? is it counting the memory? or nothing? it must do something
-
you got pm already
-
you mean too long for your screenresolution, anyway i thought about making it shorter and into two rows yesterday, here we go, better now? and yes i need all those pic for partition magic i have to search, takes a moment
-
lol, what are you working? anyway, you only want to make bios update cause of hd, not recommended, first try norton partition magic, it worked for me on 200gb, so give it a try. if you need a copy and for mainboard, if you ever need to find id and manufacturer easily try sisoft sandra, its the best system analization tool and free.
-
you have to sort out your mainboard manufacturer and mainboard ID (important). you find both in bios . theres a number, not version number. with this number you find manufacturers. then go to manufacturers homepage, and search for bios update (download section) they give for free, no paying. not much goin on at my job currently, ill help you.

difficult to tell from here... if you really think its a virus i suggest you to visit some security board where ppl really know about, and post your logfiles and stuff there. and then get rid of the shit. you know any good security board?
-
you performed a full scan already? you better do. edit: i read the thread on isratrance, they make hysteria, just perform a full scan, then reinstall cubase and install asio drivers i gave you. do you have the H2O version of cubase?
-
here my friend i zipped and uploaded it for you. http://rapidshare.de/files/31300724/ASIO4A...nglish.zip.html
-
1.8ghz should be enough, but sooner or later you will have to upgrade anyway, but we all have to. have you tried asio4all?
-
we had many discussions about more ram/cpu. by just looking at your system specs i say its too little, even win xp needs 512mb to run stable. but im not familiar with cubase anymore, so lets wait for for cubase gurus. perhaps its some cubase issue. btw is soundlaster live anygood for recording? i thought its crap, and if you look at your latency, but we will see.
-
way to little ram you have. but cpu should be no problem. if it would use 100% cpu with empty project it must crash, when loading a synth, does it? can you play midi with a synth?
