hey there... i recently got the discodsp discovery and its quite impressive but as they say, its known to be a nordlead emulation and can play nordlead presets, i've been lookin for some nordlead patches, does anybody know where i can i get them from?.. tried google but no luck

i perfectly agree with mike....therer many synths available for basslines, but u can only get that perfect bassline with the perfect eq and compression... TRY THIS:make a bassline with vb-1. put the channel through an equalizer (or parametric eq if u're usin fruity) lower the highest frequency, followed by the 2nd highest which is to be lowered slightly less than and go on till u reach the low freqencies...it wrks 4 me....keep trying happy tweaking!!!

well hey there, it is a fact that most of the plugins that come with fruity are crap....but fl studio as a sequencer is amaaazing!!!! it may not be considered that professional but u can write music much easily and faster compared to any other sequencer....imho, u should get some good vst instruments like albino, vanguard, z3ta+, vb-1, crystal, synth1, karma etc... keep browsing through the forums and u'll surely find something u may get annoyed at first but 1ce u know the basic tricks, it becomes damn easy and fun all the best!!!! cheers!!
