Hey that's nice, which vinyls did you get? Yup You might want to check out Mobile fidelity 45rpm series for classic rock and jazz stuff. Sick sick re-issues! Do not miss out on Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue box set. Sounds so amazing.

Speaking of Ganesha, you missed 2 most important things 1) Lord Ganesha being the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. He was created out of earth 2) Ganesh Chaturti - the festival so powerful and mesmerising. Also cutting across religious boundaries. I know many Muslims, Christians who celebrate it. Bring the idol of Lord Ganesha to their home and carry out all the rituals. Coming to mixes, Thanks for the download link. Can I expect an ambient(Beatless ambient) mix? Or is it gonna be all psybient and psychill.?
-
Its strange that none of you downloaded the track considering that it was so awesome! Why didnt you! :/

Unreleased killers?

Gathering stuff to overhaul my ( CNC phono + DCB1 buffer ) pre-amplifier. From single channel to multi channel , an RF filter and rewiring (getting rid of shitty single core wires to multi core ones)

I just got psyched out. :/ no I ain't burning, I would rather give them away to friends and concentrate on my vinyl collection. If few titles are not in my collection, so what? There's so much of good music out there apart from Goa. I have turned into a hypocrite thanks to this shit. I do not like it. I'm trying to do away with all of this. Forget all that, how's your P1 sounding?

Yes, Bill writes nice reviews. There was this dude, fatkidwitjetpack owning the review section with T2MU. He's long gone though. I will start writing more reviews(Just wrote my first). But i got shit knowledge about the terminology of the sounds , say like reverb, synth, snare etc etc. If anyone can help me out with that, things will be easier TIA.

Artist: Brian Eno Title: Lightness (Music For The Marble Palace The State Russian Museum, St Petersburg) Label: Opal Records – OPALCD001 Format: CD, Album Country: UK Released: 1997 Genre: Electronic Style: Ambient Rating: 8/10 Tracklist: 1. Atmospheric Lightness 32:00 2. Chamber Lightness 25:00 Brian Eno, needs no introduction in the Electronic Music world. A brilliant composer and a computer geek who likes to give you a visual treat of his creations through his visual programs which complement and complete his work or Art. The hour long music on this CD was composed by Eno for his installation at the Marble Palace, The State Russian Museum, St Petersburg, November 1997. The first album to released on Eno's own label Opal as a burn on demand CD. Review: Atmospheric Lightness - here as the name suggests Eno creates a wonderful atmosphere full of light with what seems like electronic birds chirping throughout the 32 min long track. Seems like a bright sunny day in Eno world. Very soothing! Chamber Lightness - now we move on from the outside world of atmospheric lightness into the chamber lightness , birds are long gone. The setting has changed( once can imagine entering the Museum now) but the theme remains the same, nice soothing sounds which will please any ambient listener. A very nice ambient album. Sells dear. If you are an ambient lover you'll like it. Get it if you find one for cheap. Track1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMmZ_69flEk Track2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpgDo-Rg6jc

Yes, Mr.Paul, if you can just mention your favourite tracks. That would be enough. You have soooo much of chill and so many hidden gems. I consider you to be our (Psynews) chill master. If not review may be a year by year essential albums list by Paul thread? I Wil follow Joske's late 90's reviewing style if it's not a problem Again, where is Abasio? I really liked reading his reviews. oh, Antic was a good reviewer as well. (Checkout Nervasystem, he had given his word to me to write a review of Psychowave album. But now he is gone!) I would look forward to read from Mergi, Jisnegro and Manuser. Of course all of you'se! Apart from providing producers and labels with feedback, the review section also does the job of disseminating obscure & essential albums which I consider to be more important (at least for myself)
