Me. Won't forget the moment I heard it on the Halluci:nations CD in early 2000.

Terrible 'mixing' like all CDs from this label. Pitched up tracks that end suddenly.

Never liked that compilation TBH. It has 3-4 maximum defining Goa tracks but the rest is quite average trance of the time if you ask me.
-
Do you remember your first 3 goa /psy tracks ?

In July 1994 I had a tape with the following amongst: Hallucinogen - LSD, Juno Reactor - Labyrinth, BPC - Midian, Optica - Somniferium, North Central Positronics - The Great Bear !! Of course didn't know what the style was called then, for me it was all Techno-Trance. Was 17 then. -

This is an incredible compilation, like the 4 CDs so far by this label. But what amazes me most is Atmos's track - not qualitiwise mainly, but STYLEwise. If this was really done in 1994 then Atmos would be another pioneer of the genre since the sound of this track is looks like it was done 1997 earliest, or more 1998 actually! And why would he release no more music between 1994 and 1998 and surface on the Trance map sometime in 1998 with a totally different sound? Sure, sound had changed a lot between those 4 years but it's still amusing how he would do this track in 1994 and surface only 4 years after.

Draeke, your matrix/mould are like mine. I bought it used not long ago and can't see anything unusual on mine. Looks like a defective batch exists then. On a side-note, this is one of the most original and refreshing 'Goa-but-not-Goa' albums.

A full length album by Slinky Wizard is one of the great(est) 'misses' in Goa Trance.

If you are posting here (ie if you listen to psychededlic trance) then obviously you must suffer from something
