  1. First album of Slug is a great representation of his banging funky full-on sound. It seems more original than most full-on these days. And of course it gets repetitive by the end - so recommended to listen in small doses. Favourites: Paradise Lost, Russian Salad, Lose Your Shell and On The Floor.
  2. ^ Nope, that's Slug from Nexus Media. Real name Liam Gibbs. This http://www.discogs.com/artist/Slug+(3) Some bangin' psy-full-on. I liked his Elemental album from 2007 so now checking his debut.
  3. another add in general http://www.asiarooms.com/travel-guide/japa...lubs/index.html I remember club "Liquid Room" was pretty famous.
  4. I liked his Elemental album and the cover was great too. But this one
  5. Expactations for big names are always very high IMO. They also have downs and falls - they're humans, right.
  6. R&S Records for me. Seems people don't pay as much attention to oldschool techno as to oldschool goa. Well they should've - because sometimes techno can be surprisingly psychedelic. I still have to explore Plus8 Records. I'm now reviving my R&S archives and something from Tresor. Classic and fave releases from R&S would be: Jaydee - Plastic Dreams Aphex Twin - Didgeridoo CJ Bolland - Camargue Model 500 - I Wanna Be There I also liked Joey Beltram's "Energy Flash" in the past - but heard it recently and it was meh. Good point. I heard a very small amount of Plus8 so can't judge properly.

    Prodigy

Music For The Jilted Generation - a very diverse album.
  8. I can understand how hard to express yourself on a different language. It's really hard to find proper words. Anyway this release is going to be in my list for the 2009 top-psy choices. I am sure. Those melodies penetrate deep into my mind and stimulate the most positive energies. Afgin really found a way to put some magic in his music.
  9. Ok, maybe i was a bit too extreme on that.

    Eat Static - Implant

I don't feel this album sound outdated at all. It's been 15 years since. A little problem with "Abduction" was that i could feel some sounds to be old and it kinda ruined the feeling but the level of psychedelia was still high. "Implant"'s sound is not so wacked - it takes a minimal path with some beautiful downtempo pieces. I liked "Survivors" the most for a driving feeling through the whole track. 8/10
  11. I just have to see that.

    V/A - Scrambled Heads

I never thought that a release of this kind of sound would come from Germany - more likely from Finland. But that's not a bad thing - well i can't say anything bad at all about the whole release. It's more subtle than most of the cracy Finnishers and it makes this release listenable even on the early mornings. Favourite tracks: Eqked - Decade Glitch Neuromotor - Organic Confusion (Rmx) Peyote People - The Ancient Jewelled Moon Psy Babas - Formel Sex 8/10
  13. I am sure it's a great movie. I mean they have to keep the vibe so it can work right in the boxoffice. I liked all previous releases and the 3rd one was also great - though i read elsewhere on the internet about how pathetic it was.
  14. This is a very interesting and original release. Thanks for share.
  15. Cerrone - Supernature http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlWCwCCTiio straight from vinyl
