  1. I won yesterday on ebay http://www.discogs.com/release/177601 for a very decent price, so my week is good again
  2. Exactly, for me the first goa track must be that planet ben track from '91, and the shocking is that it still sounds fresh today! Also the overlords (with Kox Box Ian Ion in it) were very early with their goa trance influenced tracks, 92... but let's conclude it started with experimenting in the early 90's and the genre was born around 93 with the first cds and compilations... and 94-95 made it boom really fast
  3. well, that's not true... I go since 1999 so that's 8 years now and I must have attend on average 40-50 parties a year (in the beginning less because there were no parties every weekend), I had my dip in 2004 when there was very little old school and good music imo, but since then things are going better again, I enjoy the parties very much, have lots of friends there... I always say, some like to play cards in the weekend... I go out and party But what did change is that I go home mostly around 8-9 in the morning (unless the music is good) instead of 11-12 which was usual in the early 2000's but as Lepton said, sometimes it is a little too much here, there are weekends where you can almost party non stop from friday 22h till sunday 15h, not for me though, I like to go out and lose 1 day, and want 1 chilled day during the weekend with my gf
  4. well, it all depends on the music for me... Small (old school goa trance) parties never fail to excite me and bigger parties with a very good line up mostly do the same (altough the spirit is sometimes lost on those parties)... Open air is fantastic, but well, we only have maximum 5 parties like that a year here, so you have to enjoy indoor parties as well, and when you have enough fresh air and 1m² to dance I can enjoy indoor as well... Otherwise I understand the feeling of getting bored of psy parties, but that's mostly because I go every weekend at least to 1 party (and I usually play at that party as well... And when that is on a not so good party it sucks somehow) and also I think it's more the exhaustion that makes me tired then instead of the psy party itself (as I don't take any drugs/drink/smoke to keep me awake), if the music fails to interest me, the party was not good... But I start to become more picky lately so the amount of good parties is rising again So this means: 10% of the parties I go to are fabulous and I have a feeling like "yes yes, this is where it is all about" 20% of the parties are nice, good talks, nice music, great atmosphere 40% of the parties are ok, some nice moments, some more boring moments etc 20% are not good, maximum 2 hours of good music... 10% suck bigtime and make me want to run away at 2 o'clock
  5. Chi-ad - Anno Domini and specially pathfinder... I was totally out of this world while hearing that track after 2 days of not sleeping... I fell on my bed, fell in some kind of sleep/dreamscape immediately during that track with being awake somehow, very cool experience
  6. Well, there was a big fuzz about it when it was released, but the mastering is not so good, that's why it didn't get so much attention afterwards... But the music is really good for sure
  7. Recommended! Stavros paid immediately and was always very friendly and helpfull! Perfect!
  8. Nice reply... it's only for dancefloors... No mindexpanding music which gives room for originality and fantasy... And the bassline and highhats sound EXACTLY the same in ALL tracks, this for years and years... how is it possible?
  9. He played on a party of me 6 months ago, and he played both in the chill as in the main stage... And believe me... there was no full on involved, his style was pretty deep slow trancy music, like he said, with a more house groove, but still with melodies... And not coincidentally he played there together with Jaia... they have influenced eachother for sure...
  10. No shit! I had EXACTLY THE SAME with EXACTLY THE SAME CD!!!! It's the only time it happened to me... I mailed the label then to complain and they said there was a problem with the size of their boxes and the cd was squeezed because of that... maybe you can try it as well?
  11. Yes, I forgot the Forest Trance style there, I just noticed it... Kluster - Big Fix and Derango will be my picks there... Also about dark psychedelic trance... I will change it into "mainstream" psychedelic trance, because it isn't really dark indeed, just noisy
  12. 2 weeks ago the answer was "yes", but what I heard about Evans and James Monro now, they are not really working together anymore and James thinks Technossomy is not worth a ressurection, psychedelic music from the past for freaks he thinks... lol, so cross our fingers, if Evans manages to do this alone...
  13. The party will happen, don't worry! Huge location is confirmed! BUT, Tecyhnossomy didn't want to play any longer because the 2 don't get along with eachother anymore, so they are working now on some good replacement... once it is confirmed I will let you know btw: this is not a suntrip party, it's organised by friends of me http://www.goatrance.de/goabase/party/details/27557
  14. ah well, it's just to show everyone there is a huge branch as well with not psychedelic ambient, but it would lead me too far to make such a branch as well specifically for not psychedelic ambient as this is about psychedelic electronic music
  15. hehe, thanks this time I talked alot with people that like a particular style alot, before creating it, so that almost all is covered @ Bahamut, the reason is pretty simple for me... If people are new into trance, and they hear about all those groups and genres etc, this will help them ALOT, like that terms will be much easier also this may help people finding new kinds of music
  16. Ok, here we are, after 1 year an update version which must be MUCH clearer and which is... bigger as well
  17. well, as a matter of fact I'm now 24 so not that young anymore héhé, but I started young with the whole goa movement, that's true (16-17) Thanks everyone for the warm words, it are those words that give is the courage to go on, even though we sometimes feel very "out of line"!
  18. yeah, how could you have missed it... Shame! Play track 3 on a sunny morning on an open air party... It's unbelievable, it made people fly several times this summer here in Belgium... Fantastic!
  19. It sounds very interesting! I'm pretty sure he won't make any full on, his latest tracks sounded a little less uplifting, but still trance (Anno Domini anyone?) So I expect alot from this! (and because I had a pm about this case, there was no contact with Suntrip about releasing an album by him... so it will be some bigger label I guess! )
  20. Well, what do you want to know? He is From Israel, making goa trance in the style of the old masters as Astral Projection, California Sunshine etc... He will be on the new Suntrip compilation with 1 track which I love very much... I don't know anything about Future compilations, as you know this kind of artists are not really asked now, but I know he plays live once in a while in Israel and is part of the old is gold group... A group of Israelis that stay faithful to old school melodic israeli trance!

The next monhts I'm looking forward to: Sattle Battle Album Sienis Album Transwave - Backfire Trold Album Pure Planet II Fluorotonik (if the rumour is right) Talpa album Xenomorph album (!!!! The Samples sound totally mindblowing and he will play live here in March to present his new album ) The usual ambient surprises... Ambient is going from strength to strength at the moment imo, so i'm sure I'll find some interesting cds in between next months! About Suntrip stuff Twist Dreams will be releases the 26th of january Ra - 9th should be ready at the end of the spring, altough we don't want to put Christer under pressure to complete it as soon as possible, but the stuff I heard is in the same style as To Sirius, maybe even a little deeper and more eastern melodic and sometimes slower altough there are dance tracks as well
  22. lol, is there a new pile of KURO's available at once? I had today my sealed copy of Kuro in my mailbox, for 10€ Also a sealed White Rhino and a Step 2 House single! My new-year money has to be spend somewhere...
