  1. Research was done for that, we compared with some other sites etc, and it was not possible for a little label, it would cost too much btw; the payment is a big problem as wel, to allow payment by VISA on a site you have to pay... of course
  2. First of all, I give 7 points where things go wrong, and my first sentence is there are so many reasons, so I'm not saying it is ALL because of mp3, but it is a big part... (imo) Second, well, how did people know about groups and labels before there was mp3? lol, its bull shit that people discover artists only because mp3, it is a good thing for some, but a bad thing for labels and artists... Sales dropped dramatically, so can you explain me why "by chance" the sales dropped at the moment mp3 became more popular, and that a cd now is a "good seller" when it reaches 1000 copies while 10 years ago 10.000 was good? Second, you can tell me how to take advantage of the mp3? should I sell on the Suntrip page? hahaha, how many would buy? Anyway, I said there are MANY reasons, and mp3 is one, but the mp3 changed the whole scene (as said by many others), simply because of the mp3 artists sold less, made more commercial music to get booked more etc,...
  3. Amanite FX - Trance-mission (POF Trance Collector 1) whaa, that climax at the end is stunning
  4. does anybody still have this track? I accidentally removed it from my pc...
  5. This discussion is very hard, and I think it's way too easy to say there is only one problem with Psy-Trance today, there are at least 10 (!!) problems... - Downloading (the nr 1 problem) - Artists making music for a big audience so they get booked - Many labels trying to reach bigger public - The society who wants to be "hip" and very flashy/fast all the time and because of that demand a new music style every 2 years... (if you think about that, it is madness!) - Artists that make the same music for 10-15 years... They become unoriginal mostly - The scene that splitted, which means you have to fit in a certain formula - The djs: most of them spin only hits, and don't play "real" sets anymore... -...
  6. Hello You are looking for regular acid-trance, artists you should check out: Solar Quest (both ambient and acid trance), also lots of Platipus tracks (indeed Union Jack has many), also Bassline Baby is the same style, more within the goa style your style would be Acid Goa Trance, with artists like moonweed, Mindfield, early Shakta, Green Nuns of the Revolution, Doof,... Many releases from Choci Chewns, Kai Tracid,... will probably fir you style as well altough they are more regular trance with acid sauce over it ps: Acid Phaze is still the best track from Emmanuel Top, can't stop listening that one as well it's pretty unique
  7. Miranda - Asynja Actually, the second part of the album is really good
  8. You see what happens if you visit Psynews? if you like Green Nuns and Doof and the likes, check all old Phantasm cds as well, sometimes impressive acid trance
  9. the bassline can be ok in full on tracks, it are the high messy highats that destroy alot for me and the simple notes on the bassline (like 1112, 1112,...)
  10. I will buy it soon the samples on saikosounds sound amazing
  11. Yes, indeed, it's a pitty they didn't get more attention with this cd, because I love it, very melodic melancholic trance-ambient! Favourites 1 and 10, they are both superb, both it's a great album to hear in a whole...
  12. I sold my double only 2 days ago for 20€, so indeed, it's not THAT hard to find, ebay and stuff good luck!
  13. yes! Ra - To Sirius on ebay for 3€ sofort kaufen, it's there for ages, and it's one of the best ever... not all the fantastic releases cost 100+€...
  14. Mostly: Old school/new school melodic goa trance finnish/experimental trance Forest-trance ambient/chill Melodic progressive (not housy) but mostly, not all of them and exception can be made of course
  15. I simply don't get neo full on at all because it sounds so dull, simple and they always use exact the same sounds and basslines, BORING (which doesn't mean there are not a few good tracks in between!) idem dito with "horror trance", on Boom! I really started to hate that music, 160 bpm rough noise... Where's the trance? and last but not least the housy progressive (the trancy progressive can be very good tho)
  16. lol, hey, you are right, I never noticed that before...
  17. coming guys, this is useless, I see no points proven, and... I see two camps fighting eachother, this is not the right attitude for sure, if you can't stand eachother... Ignore mode ON, simple as that, this topic would be too dumb to have someone banned right?
  18. I actually have a special pile of cds which are there for pré-listening before I judge the music and then it ends up in my collection, at the moment the pile is WAY TOOOO big with like 15 more old school cds coming... :s Some cds I should really give some decent chances soon: -Psychedelic Activity -Ketha Ming - Ketha Minh -Rebirth (Chaosunlimited comp) -Ubar Tmar - Egou Kaiki -Trance Mixim -12 Moons -Odd Harmonics (which sounded great the first time but hard to get into)
  19. albums you'll love must be: Zero Cult's one (sometimes with a bit but very trancy melodic), same goes for the Side Liner album, but the winner... Unstable Elements - Technical Illusions! An album only released this year, VERY good imo, and I haven't seen much reviews about it, but melodic, often beatless dreamy ambient, I love it!
  20. ok, cool, now it's more or less fair (ps: discogs has way too high prices for some times... Sometimes not, and then they are sold pretty fast...)
  21. sorry, but prices are way too high! have you ever checked ebay?
  22. ouch, sorry to tell you but I just bought myself one via the English ebay, still sealed.. sorry
  23. I still have mine... As said, if you can provide me with stuff from my wantlist I may trade it... www.discogs.com/user/anoebis
  24. for me the most emotional ones are... Z-Plane Sunrise (fantastic!) Floating universe (of course) and of the Unreleaseds: Shadow Dance is sooo touching
  25. and I had a mail in my pm box of 1 hour ago where someone sais it's a pitty we sound so new school with this cd... Weird! ah well, when the tracks are complete you'll have a clearer vision, personally I think this is more modern sounding as Apsara with the Talpa and Khetzal track for sure, as they have some more modern basslines and stuff, the other tracks are just great non-general goa trance imo, and the first is even a little progressive melodic trance... ah well, it's hard to label music anyway
