Ok, here we are with all the official info and updates Hello dear trance-lovers After the dancefloor madness of Filteria and the floating morning trance compilation “Apsara”, Suntrip is back with the debut album from French master Khetzal, called Corolle. The album is a true story, a mix between downtempo and up-tempo melodic goa trance with spiritual, eastern influences. Every track tells an imaginary trip in countries where one can meet traditional instruments with deep and enchanting resonance, along with a lot of sound appearances of Nature. All this blended in an evocative forum. Expect a fairytale, a travel to the jungles of South America and India… His background of violin player can be heard very clearly in his melodies Before this album Khetzal, Matthieu Chamoux, was involved in the trance scène for years already. He plays the violin very well (which can be heard in the melodies of the album) and released some tracks previously on other labels, like Ultimae, Agitato and Kagdila Records Normally the cd will be available the 24th of october at most online shops and at your local dealer thanks to Arabesque 1. Listening Winds (120 BPM) 2. Anamatha (Rmx) (132 BPM) 3. Bells of Sarnath (150 BPM) 4. Narayana (140 BPM) 5. Ganesha Pramana (160 BPM) 6. Indian Attic (140 BPM) 7. Djaningar (130 BPM) 8. Nyiragongo (138 BPM) 9. Avasari (100 BPM) The cd was mastered by Tim Schuldt @ 4CN studios The cover will look like this: If you are interested in samples, you can find them on saikosounds, and soon also on our own website www.suntriprecords.com For the party people, that are interested in our melodic trance label parties... We'll have our next label party the 19th of november in Belgium, with Lost Buddha and Khetzal live! More info soon on the website Thanks to everyone, and specially the ones that will buy this cd! Anoebis & Mars / Suntrip Records

Aloha, I had 2 very old vinyls by accident: Shaolin Wooden Men - The Hungry Forest (LP) - 1995 - Nova Zembla/Psy harmonics Elysium - Project One - EP - 1994 - Nova Zembla The Shaolin Wooden Men is still new, the Elysium one still in perfect condition, but it has no sleeve (not sure if it ever had a real one...) For people that have offers... Here is my wantlist: www.discogs.com/user/anoebis or send pm's

http://www.discogs.com/user/anoebis that's my collection... But I should really really update it, still have like 30 trance-cds lying here to add to discogs... all of them are original of course...
-
ah well, I play on acid parties too once in a while... And I even played in one of the most exclusive clubs of Belgium (La Rocca), during art performances... And people are always blown away there (specially at the acid parties)... When you play some Mama Indica stuff or Talking Souls all the acid freaks are like... WHAT IS THAT!!! I DONT KNOW THAT!!!!!! héhé, so I don't see any problems in playing on different parties... We only have 1 message as a dj... we have to show people how blissfull goa trance can be, and that's not something exclusive for people that go to psyparties imo (alltough they understoud the message a long time ago already of course)
-
oh yes, one of my favourite mixes ever! But the one you gave us here is nr 2, there is a number 1 also, which is maybe even better... (the Capta Goa track!!!)
-
Well, There is actually a pretty big psychedelic-trance/breakbeat crossover imo, but it is mostly underground, but many Australian artists have made that kind of music... Also Blue Room has some breakbeaty releases... Check out Nam Shub of Enkhi Exotic Matter - Astral Attaché Va - Gourmet Genre Va - Freakstyle Odd Harmonics - Coincedentalism etc etc...
-
True, forgot about that one Also check "not my cup of tea" on Demon Tea records, same style! Also James Reipas album has the same happy experimental vibe
-
Yamabikaya is extremely fantasy indeed, if you like that kind of happy-tripping-trolls-and-pixies-in-the-forest-music check out Pelinpala! The only group I know with somehow the same style... I wish I knew more groups like that tho...

Biot - Radiation my kind of music to start a day, héhé -
it sounds great for sure, but there is no option to have more then 50 polls in this forum, and the site management can't change that :s but maybe on some other site there is? Or maybe some lunatic on this site is willing to write down all the top 5's of people down on his computer and afterwards tell us who won? (maybe we can write a top 5, first = 5 points, 2 = 4, 3=3 etc)

Well, today I found out which track is thé definition for me (aside Lepton Head Rmx) Soluna - Dancing Spirit Rmx

DERANGO "Tumult" CD album (INPSYDE MEDIA)
Anoebis replied to Inpsyde-head's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
I'm very curious too about this release... Their songs on compilations were always stunning, their Sanaton release was kick ass and their Puro tracks were about the best songs I heard in a LONG time! On the other hand their live act 2 weeks ago dissapointed me a little (but that was maybe because of no good sound) Did anybody hear any new tracks already? Samples? -
Schizm was probably the best compilation last few years (for me at least, I'm really looking forward to the next albums/compilations!
-
I would file them under Dark Trance... in the minimal style, or some in the Forest style (specially Procs)
-
if I put music it subcategories, it would be something like this: Psychedelic Ambient: -With a beat/rhytm ---Trance-ambient (old Asura, Aes Dana,... so with a 4/4beat) ---Dubby ambient (like OTT, some LSD releases,...) ---Typical psychedelic ambient (Entheogenic, most Ultimae Records,...) ---World/Tribal ambient (last shpongle, makyo,...) -Without a beat ---Experimental (Ollie Olsen/Biosphere style) ---Atmospheric (New age style) Goa Trance (old school) -Acid Trance (303 drenched melodic psychedelic music, style Green Nuns, mindfield) -Nitzhonot (übermelodic, happy simple Israeli goa trance) -Night Style (dark very psychedelic but still melodic music, UX, Slide,...) -Morning style 'typical goa trance' (MFG, Astral Projection, Power Source,...) -Tribal Goa Trance (with lots of tribal influences, Bodh Gaya, Sonic Fusion....) New school: -Same as above, but with better production and some different influences Dark psychedelic Trance -Minimal style (very straightforward aggressive, like Parasense, Kindzadza,...) -Very psychedelic furious style (Grapes of Wrath, Scatterbrain) -Forest style (Mostly Swedish stuff with melodies combined with forest sounds, Ka Sol, Derango,...) -South African (typical style, for some this would fit in the full on section tho) Full On -Dark (Dark music made with the typical full on bassline and noises, Rinkadink) -Typical Full On (well, Astrix, Delirious,...) -Melodic full On (old school influenced - Electric Universe, Misted Muppet,...) Progressive -Housy (rather slow clubby, groovy music, like Son Kite,...) -Not Housy (most older progressive, like Atmos, Medijum releases) -Melodic Progressive (progressive beats with old school influenced melodies, Soul Surfers, Blue Vortex,... sometimes close to full on) Psytekk -Hard and very dry music, concentrates on rhytm only (Spirralianz, Delta,...) Suomi/Australia/experimental trance -Typical Suomi/Australian style (hard to describe... listen! Texas Faggot,Shango,...) -Experimental (psychedelic music mixed with Jazz,breakbeats,...)
-
I just saw this written on a party announcement in Finland... juno Reactor will play there... and... PSP Lounge: DJ Soma and DJ Kris Kylven So... Any news about him?
-
Magnetrixx albums Blue Vortex - Mirage Soul Surfers Andromeda/Herbal Essance-album Cosmic Tone - (the very trancy album) That kind of morning progressive is really mu cup of tea for listening, on parties it can be boring tho in other progressive ways I like Etnoscope - Drums From The Dawn Of Time Shiva CHandra - Auricular
-
Koen, gedraag u Vrede, vrede, veed' op aard' voor alle méeensen... There are still some obscure labels in Australia where I'm interested in, old Green Ant stuff etc, any Australians that can help me with that?
-
