This reminds me on Nitzhonot indeed, and as I like that kind of music in some moods I seem to like this song... haven't heard a single good track of him since Cancer, but this is right on track indeed, this track managed to put a smile on many people's face! Very positive morning music I understand many think this is ubercheesy etc... but probably I'm used to it with my "normal trance" background 8 years back

I simply depends on the party I guess, so here are several line ups for different parties Melodic Goa Trance MFG Asia 2001 Pleiadians Dimension 5 Forest music/Dark trance Ka Sol Kluster (old music) Scatterbrain Xenomorph Experimental/Suomisaundi Texas Faggot Pelinpala Huoputassu Mononen Shaolin Wooden Men

For me: 1. Classical Mushroom 2. Converting Vegetarians - The Other Side 3. The Gahering Dancing With Kadhafi is worth mentioning tho (10/10!), altough I somehow think it should have been on CLassical Mushroom... (same style...)

What music are you listening to right now?

Nystagmus - Weird Noises And just listened to the Magnetrixx album for waking up the groovy way -
What you will like is the compilation ETHNOBOTANY! It is all very dark, spooky psychedelic music with warm basslines, I love it! Try BEAT BIZARRE first album of KLUSTER the MINIMAL ANIMAL album of KRUMELUR, very slow trippy stuff XENOMORPH's - Qlippoth is slow and dark too... I just don't get why you like Kindzadza tho... That's only hard kicky and random noise imo

VA - Positive Alchemists Vol. 1

Good luck to my friends of Avigmatic! I'm curious about the tracklist, I usually don't like full on, but some tracks seem interesting for sure! Nice to see there is a Belgian track on it too... -
woow, what a great surprise, probably one of the best cds this year, funky, very psychedelic, lots of layers and melodies! 9/10! Best track for me Shinkansen Rmx... But no trace of bonus tracks? Altough I have the original cd... How to get them?
-
yes, this is a very nice album, altough I hate the stupid drug samples... But some tracks are outstanding, I will listen to it more following days for a total review Now it gets like 8.5/10

Hey Zaib, welcome on the forum Tracks with memories for me... Chi-ad - Eye Am The I... The first time I heard it was in 99 on a party in Brussels, I went crazy, and when I found the track I was SO happy Shpongle - Tales of... Because of a beautiful summer with a great girl and that cd was played on so many happy moments and so many others, but these 2 were the first ones that popped up in my mind

Well, to be honest Filipe used the term New School already in 2004, and I have even read reviews of Filteria using that word, so I doubt it is Seraph's invention... But on topic, Who can tell me the difference between psytrance and goatrance? As in the early days the music was simply called... Psychedelic Goa Trance
-
Check Out Marina Sabinas of mama Indica, one of the Strongest acid-trance tracks EVER (if pitched up), it was on a Trigger vinyl if I'm not wrong and on the compilation: Survival of the Trippest 2 (which seems to be kinda rare as I am the only one that has it on discogs), but the vinyl should be findable )
-
well, we agreed that Filteria is direct satisfaction, but that doesn't mean it is not old/new school - goatrance... For instance Luminus - Total Conciousness or Pleiadians - Electra or Green Nuns - Ring of Fire are VERY direct satisfaction but still 100% old school imo... And once again, his new tracks have much more story also About Misted Muppet then (back on topic please) I like nr 3 VERY MUCH the rest of the album is kinda lame, but I have some véry good unreleased tracks of them so I believe in their talent
-
For me it all depends on moods again, mostly goa trance (so I voted for that), but I like finnish crazy music as well, experimental trance, acid trance and scandinavian trance also And if I am i chilled mood, some ambient or progressive can do the trick
-
It's completely Yahel-rip off, and I like that kind of trance as well, I remember song 2-3 is VERY good, but I haven't listened to that cd for years now so probably not so amazing... But like you said... As the last song on a party, while the sun is shining, this is actually a cool release
-
name a good artist never mentioned here before

Spiral Active Project on Krembo records is made by those guys -
I never really was in that Indoor album... Dunno why, I liked Intrance always much more, and Orion too! Altough I paid like 20€ a few weeks before it was re-released for the original one But the remastered version is actually much better mastered
-
I was there 2 days ago, and they had some old rare cds (Krembo stuff) and many new ones... And the old were pretty cheap (like 10€) The second hand shop you were talking about is AMAZING! I spend like 2 hours there I think with Ukiro and my gf looking for trance tracks and music close to that, and we went out with like 20 cds I think The only frustrated thing, there are SO many cds everywhere that it takes days to check them out all... For example you could see the actual cd of toires - oued, but the cover was somewhere in the shope... After hours of searching... No result! :s
-
Haha Nice to hear you are back Felipe! I heard a rumour you made that Hip Hop track Skazi played at full moon Shame And also, in the latest Mushroom Magazine there is a page about the goa scene in Northern Ireland, so there is one! I really hope you manage to find the strength to produce again, you really deserve to be enlightened after the hard times
-
Great music it is, all early Tim Schuldt in fact, acid-trance at it's best! Check out his other early projects too (Discogs will help you with that!) Mama Indica tracks for example are very much in the same Talking Soulds acid-trance style
-
Well, I agree that The Message was a little weaker... BUT, it was also way ahead of it's time! This could be played at the usual party now without having a generation-difference I also love the Etnica/Pleiadians tribe of course, but what they started to create afterwards was SO wrong that they lost my vote... Also I know some older tracks of them that I don't like... And I don't have that with MFG
-
Well, it's hard to make a choice like this... Really, it all depends on moods! If you are on a party and you want to dance like a madman, FILTERIA! If you like floating morning trance, GOASIA and LOST BUDDHA! If you like raw psychedelic goa trance for the night, KA SOL! If you like spiritual eastern/indian influenced ambient and goa trance, KHETZAL (soon the album will be released and I'm sure some people will be surprised by it) TALPA I like too, specially the album! His new tracks were very orchestral indeed, a little like new Synsun album, and indeed Classical Mushroom, but less filled I think... It's a love it or hate it style Anyway, there are more people making "new-school" or goa trance or old school or retrotrance lately (even the new Squaremeat fits in that category imo), I will post some more thoughts of me later, I had some promos that will point me in new directions I hope
-
Phenomena for me too... Altough I voted Real Rush by accident as it was written first... I must say I also like Asynja and Rerecorded also, specially the last one was a nice surprise
