  1. I don't know from which year it is, but lately I fell in love with Etnoscope - Drums from the dawn also check out Herbal Essence from 2005, very nice floating melodic progressive
  2. they have some vinyls on www.psyshop.com some more rare ones on www.chaosexistence.com (they had Cassandra's nightmare not long ago) but your best vinyls deals you will do on www.ebay.com
  3. Avigmati - Babylon Beach and before Red Aum - Diu
  4. 1. Scatterbrain 2. Kluster - Bug Fix 3. Digital Dance of Shiva
  5. Ka Sol will be released, don't worry guys Schlab will do it sooner or later, and Sanaton just released a Ka Sol track, and maybe Suntrip will soon...
  6. it's Anoebis, crazy French people! And my tracklist, in the night it was mostly newer music... And in the morning, well, 50% unreleased (the whole upcoming suntrip compilation had been tested, that were mostly the more dreamy tracks) Except of that I can give you some names Amanite FX - Daishonin Asia 2001 - Kalimba MFG - Maya Moon Soluna - Dancing Spirit Climax Absolüte - Torrero Halluciné Bodh Gaya - Im Rachen Des Jaguars Miranda - Planet Mars Subcouds - My World Doesn't Follow Any Other Poly 61 - Hirabo Invaders Cosmosis - Spores From SPace Morphem - My Plan

the main thing has been said so far I think, the compilations are not really intended for people really busy with trance but I have to say I like most of their albums, Blue Vortex, Soul Surfers, Herbal Essence, very nice stuff imo
  8. yes the re-release of Geomantik sounds better for sure, I think Avatar remastered all their Pro-file releases, but haven't checked any others as I have them still in the old version... I don't think the re-mastering is the main problem with the old songs, but it are the basslines that makes most of them hopeless out of time... with some more modern, nice basslines style Cosma - Floppy many oldies could be up to date killers...
  9. I already said it in another topic, it may not be the mid 90's anymore, but the mid 2000's aren't bad either, some very nice releases ahead! And well, if there is no good release for a month there is enough good older music we can listen, no?
  10. Phreaky... All the tracks are mindblowing... Second Tandu...
  11. ok, I just meant 742 cds that are "psychedelic trance", but at least 500 or more are "real" goa trance... And I think there are MUCH more... (altough it's useless to have them all I think... I have all distance to goas, destination goas, Goa head's and Pulse... So why having the Tantrances?) But even without the compilations there are at least 500 cds more floating around... Many of them very rare, almost unknown... For instance my latest buy was this cd: http://www.discogs.com/release/363648 Well, I only found out about the label a few months ago... And I'm sure there are more like that out there...
  12. Prana - Taiyo (Chakra Rmx), one of the few tracks with good used guitars imo... Not really a fan of it... Human Blue used it good too in his first album, and of course Shaolin Wooden Man in their Superminday album (which is more psychedelic Rock, but ok)
  13. welcome! I've been to SF when I was much younger (like 15) and I remember I didn't understand the people clothed fluoro... Now I do
  14. I've been listening alot to Full On 5 last week But the other ones I'm hooked to last week are Nataraja 2 (POF music) and Ctr Alt Delete (Stone Age)
  15. I'll post the times and the exact location and everything you want to know thrusday
  16. Dead Can Dance - Spirit Dancer Deep Dive Corporation - song 4 & 6 from their first album Electric Universe - Gayatri Shpongle - Tales of cd as a whole ALL Fahrenheit projects Vibrasphere - San Pedro Makyo - Yakshini Infected Mushroom - Dancing with Khadafi
  17. Ah well, Amithaba, I think it's dangerous to say nobody can beat Ethereal, in fact I wouldn't even say that of MFG... If there is no hope for better music I'd stop right away... You never know what braincracking release will happen next month! *altough the chance MFG will be beaten is less then 0.1% for me* About Filteria, well, we (Mars and me) try to keep him a little in the news, for the simple reason that we have to sell records to release more cds in the future... We are lucky somehow because of psynews and the fact that I play a lot in Belgium and I organise parties... But a hype? No way... On many other sites they never heard of Filteria, but we hope to have a spot in the trance scene in the future, and that's impossible without advertisement... And last but not least, have you heard any release last 5 years as intense as Filteria? If it's not your style, no problem of course, tastes can be different... but I think the release was pretty unique...
  18. less super climax melodic, more story... like you asked Rain
  19. well, after 6.5 years of collecting (I'm now 22) I have 742 goa trance cds ( a double cd counted as 1 cd, and plenty of them not yet in discogs, too lazy :s), around 50 ambient cds Non goa... at least 100 "old" club trance, acid and acidcore cds... Some folk, classic and ethnic cds as well, but only 15 or something
  20. So, let's talk about money! What is your feeling about the money in today's psytrance scene? did it become too important or not? Would you still make music/play/hang your deco for free? I think the scene became more professional for sure, and thus more money orientated. I notice some split here in Belgium between more commercial organisations and more underground ones... And well, I think djs/deco/... should be paid if there is profit, share the wealth to anyone that made the party (otherwise it's hard to continue dj-ing,painting,..)! But if an organiser lost money they don't have to give me any money...
  21. good luck Kalle... i'm sure you'll find the time for giving us more good music
  22. Wooow I saw them live again yesterday, and I am defintely impressed, they played a mix of old (Spirit Dancer !!!!!) and new tracks, mostly eastern-influenced also... The only thing, I don't really like the man's voice, is it just me or not? Who can give me more names of ethnic world/ambient music like Dead Can Dance?
  23. I have bought my copy in a second hand store in Gent I have seen it several times on ebay if it's not available anymore at the regular shops...
  24. well, come and watch my basement... So many secrets! Naah, really, there are alot of groups still making goa trance in the good old style, but they don't get any release-chances... Unfortunately, but we'll do our best to give a chance to some talents and well, the same with Avatar, Tranceform, Kagdilia...
  25. I would Call talpa "Psychedelic melodic old school altough up to date infected mushroom like goa trance", or has anyone any more ideas for new genres? serious, I think Talpa is pure goa trance, 100%... melodies all over, spiritual touch (the first track etc), good stories, maybe modern productions, but still goa trance... the same for the muses rapt... not goa trance? i understand when you say it's not your thing, but his album IS goa trance... (it's like CS - Avalanche, astral projection's Another world album etc, more like club trance but no vocals, still the sensitive touch etc...) About Synsun, his last album was maybe not typical goa trance, but I would still classify it as goa trance... And well, wait and see, he made enough real goa trance lately
