  1. ok, I feel like saying something too Ukiro is right that the discovery of Filteria was the main reason fo starting with suntrip records (I and fabien were talking about it for some time already, but ok, that was the reason to do it)! Because we were convinced of the qualities of Filteria! But now of course we have much more possibilities, we had a lot of very good tracks from all over the world, both in the softer/spiritual side as the crazy very fast side. Which means we will simply release both on our next compilation, so it will be a story compilation... softer start and end and milkyway banging cosmic euphoria in the middle In fact, if we would have the money and we knew we could have a break even situation, I would release much more as a compilation in +- 2 months, as there is way too MUCH good unreleased goa trance out there... I think Myst has alot of talent too, so we have his tracks and you can be sure he'll release songs(s) on suntrip too in the future normally! he'll even play on a party in Belgium next month next to Tim Schuldt/Four Carry Nuts So conclusion: we still believe in our main artist Filteria, I think releasing him was a win win situation for both! But this opened the doors to discover more artists etc, so you'll hear all kinds of goa trancein the future on suntrip records... Wait and see
  2. yes, for me alphabetical too (and thanks to Excel that isn't so much work ) and when it is a group by years and I mix both groups and compilations, so: Electric Ohms Electric Universe - One Love Electric Universe - Stardiver Electric Universe - Waves ... Eternal Frequency (which is a comp) looks chaotic at first sight but It's very easy and as I have to take away some cds every weekend to play around I know the correct order out of my head in fact...
  3. Tough question... Tim Schuldt has some pretty chaotic tracks imo... Red Hair Hospital/Colombian Necktie the Dodgy connection track Off Limits... battle buddhas made some chaos too, Domestic Bliss, the Spanbalteboogie track on Schlab 3 (which is actually pure industrial chaos) But the cream of perfectly balanced chaotic music must be the Finnish/Australian stuff, things like Ancient Suns, ah well, in fact the whole "Hacking the reality Myth" cd and the "Wizardry of ooz" compilation on transient!
  4. well, I ordered it as well, still waiting for it tho
  5. woow, BPC still exists? In that case, nice compilation I also think Artifakt is the best South African artist
  6. Ah well, the thing that is making those trance tracks tribal for me are the ethnic elements and drums that seem to go on forever, mixed with the floating trance feeling, a unique combination I think... But as you said everyone has different definitions for tribal trance it seems, but I'll check your next album (good advertisement )
  7. Well, the samples sound not really full on imo, but not mindblowing either, but as Cosmosis was someone that makes stories in his tracks I'm looking forward to hear it
  8. Yes he was the one... And for him he was right, but goa is still alive Anyway, on topic the most dissapointing must be 1.X-Dream 2.Prana 3.Etnica/Pleiadians
  9. A well, I have mixed feelings also, I love to see top 10's of other people, so you can see your taste fits or not... but otherwise, what's the use of a top 10 if it like this: 1. Dorito - Space dancer (UNRELEASED) 2. M&m's - Peanuts (UNRELEASED) ... in fact I could make a top ten with unreleased suntrip tracks, but what will that learn you? Nothing I guess? (except maybe to have an idea of what will be on the next cds, but you can just ask that to me) Anyway, the idea is great, but it's too much ego-driven I think "watch my great unreleased tracks!"
  10. Tha transwave album is being created right now Peyote, Christoff & Dado teamed up again, the promised the forum here to make it very melodic... The question is now... Vibe Tribe melodic or transwave melodic? I woul choose Astral Projection, as I like all their albums really much, the last rmx album sucked of course, but it wasn't AP themselve... Let's hope Hallucinogen I want to hear too, he will search for new grounds to explore
  11. Domestic Bliss!!! It was my absolute favourite for years, and I still love it
  12. Last summer I went to Tamils open air party in a forest in Germany, theer were maybe 150 people but it was a hell of a party! Melodic goa party all night, great location and a free cd (their first comp) and I must say it's pretty good melodic progressive, I haven't heard this one tho, I hope the best
  13. what the? You should really read the titles of your tracks/Albums... You don't consider yout own tracks tribal and you call them "Celestial Sounds & Tribal Beats", "Painted Faces", "Amandla's Voodoo Experience" so how would you call your music then? Tribal trance is not 100% tribal music in fact, it's a mix between tribal elements and trance no? If we want tribal music we better buy "tribal Indian music" or something
  14. yes, with lots of tribal or ethnic elements good tribal trance examples some tracks of: Elysium Ganga Giri the whole Bodh Gaya cd (!!!) Highlight Tribe some Sonic Fusion as mentioned Chi-ad - Healing Magic & spirits (and maybe pathfinder)
  15. lol, no I don't have too much money in fact it was just to say that a label is something that you should out of love, not for money because you won't earn any and actually Vortex, I and Lars wanted to book you for our 1 april party, not for playing melodic goa trance but just the alternative trance of these days (without being too dark Kindzadza all the time) But old school is welcome too for one of our following parties
  16. One Love by far! Second his Paradise Connection album
  17. Well, like already mentioned here the goa spirit didn't die completely... Not at all in fact, it's pretty simple to revive it... All the djs on this page, just spin some good old killer tracks (like Subcouds On Red for example) when you play next time and you'll see the crowd will go mad and you'll probably get more bookings. Like that you manage to play more music like that etc, anyway, that's what happened to me, so I have no idea why it wouldn't work with others If someone has too much money, start your own label too, and don't think "naaah, that's nothing for me", I thought that too, and at once it was there But the most important I think are the parties of course, if you organise parties with djs playing melodic goa trance you are reviving the goa spirit! (If you search djs... ) Maybe I'm just lucky that I live in belgium and that melodic goa trance is still loved here, but I don't believe it's coincedance either, there are several people here like me, doing everything they can to keep the vibe alive... And that seem to work And just go out and party with the right attitude yourself, like that you are contributing to the scene the best!
  18. woow thanks for the good replies! This gives me a good feeling, it's really great to see that there still is room for "alternative" not full on parties for all the Belgians, I have the flyers now so they will be around in all belgian parties Well, about the police station, no worries, everything is ok, it's not illegal to do a party of course the location is used alot for Breakcore also, so they are used to much worse! Seraph, I will play goa trance like usual I think, and I hate the word old school these days, I will just play melodic goa trance as much of my songs are from 2003-2004-2005 also, but another part is from the golden 90's to give you an idea, yesterday I played on a party and I played stuff from Bodha Gaya, MWNN, Amithaba Buddha, Bass Chakra, Imago, Equilibrium, Filteria, Pleiadians, Prodenya, paradise Connection,... and the crowd still reacted great Anyway, if anybody needs any info or questions or has ideas or I don't know what, don't hesistate to send me a mail Anoebis@suntriprecords.com
  19. Hey Gaƫtan, I may sell my copy of Squaremeat-Squarebeat, gimme your price I bought it back in the days from Nephilim and it's still in splendid condition, it's a little too breakbeat like for my personal taste, their jungle party boogie cd is much better imo
  20. it was all knew material 50% was Passenger 50% was MFG the style was pretty melodic, but more rhytmic as before, but still with lots of effects, and only a full on beat on some tracks... So there is still hope! A new album will come for sure, but what and where... i can't tell...
  21. I absolutely love Astral Projection, I have 600+ other old school cds lying around but if I had to make a top 100 of tracks of all those cds, Astral will have at least 10 tracks in it! The first two album are just pure goa trance, Another World and Dancing Galaxy a littlebit less phrenetic and crazy, but such great trancy melodies... this topic made put on Another world again... Listen to Aqua Line Spirit! That intro is just perfect
  22. What an album, those tracks are among the best I ever heard (except the ones with the stupid vocals) I don't like the trance side too much, but the ambient side is really awesome, anybody knows anymore ambient that has the same happy atmosphere and great structure?
  23. I chose when we dream my favourites from MFG are To Eternity When We are The Machines Also the Magnetic Activity rmx is better then the original I think...
  24. I think we already had this kind of poll not long ago anyway, 1997 must be the magical year... the perfect music of 96 in a slightly better production! But well, every year there have been some memorabel releases, even in the 2000's like Benjy sais (Scatterbrain! )
