Check out Talpa - The Art of Being None maybe you should also check Beat Hacker album and Misted Muppets, all the same style, but none reaches the same level I think...

Psy, Dead? Lol, it won't die, never... Since the 60's there has been psychedelic music all the time! There has been many véry psychedelic releases lately I think, all finnish music, some dark music which was very psychedelic... and yes, even "melodic goa trance" is not dead yet, so no complaining here

in 1998 I had already many regular trance/Rave cds, one of them had some Bypass Unit tracks on it (released on Belgian Bonzai label) and I liked them much more then the other tracks, so i ordered the Bypass unit album on the internet (green dreams), when I had that cd there was a very cheap sticker "100% goa trance" on it... Since then I knew I found my world 1 month after I went to my first goa party... Sold forever since that day

yep it will be available in regular shops soon (and it was available in Ibiza already a week or 2) In the mean time I can tell you guys it's very much muses rapt style, he didn't jump on the full on train, still very emotional, some would say cheesy melodic trance... Difference with the last album is the fact that there are no ambient tracks on this one, a pitty I think because I loved his ambient tracks also! my favourites nr 1 and 3

Do you have a longer version of the first sample? Because I have the song somewhere, but it's madness to start and search between 6000 songs... A longer sample would help me (and probably you too )

Pulse, tantrance, Goa Head and Destination Goa were very good compilations untill number 7-8... Try to collect one of them, maximum 2... Because 70% of the tracklists are the same...

check www.goatrance.de for party info on various countries... There are lots of big commercial events like Full Moon, VooV (voov is much better!),... Try to pick 1 German festival at least, they are mostly outstanding organisers... Besides you have lots of smaller festivals around Europe with all kinds of line ups... Where are you exactly looking for?

good news Lepton Derango album will be released in +- 1 month... I myself am waiting on -Kluster -Fluorotonic compilation -Pure Planet 2 -Scatterbrain -Derango these are the only ones I'm really waiting for (I mean, many more, but I know they will release more soon)

Please don't forget Yamabikaya, their release is one of the weirdest albums I ever heard, pretty unique (Finnish/Australian influence) but véry psychedelic... And Uni of course... Altough I like LA Movin a little less as their 2 former albums

well, like many already said, the idea behind the cd is very good, but the music doesn't make me wild... I'm sure many artists had no problems with giving unreleased tracks... But I hope it's a hit of course!

I'm not writing on any other psy-forum anymore... Psynews is unique because it's like the "alternative" forum... Where Isratrance is all about hypes and popular music from the moment, Psynews is more about all kinds of trance (except full on it seems) altough I think some more progressive lovers would be welcome

is it just me, or does everybody has moments, listening to trance-music at home, or in a party, where you feel the adrenaline rushing in your blood... But a total rush that makes you jump like madman, that makes your face going nuts... Your just want to pull your hair because you can't stand it any longer before you will burst... Instant insanity? If you recognise this, which songs gave you that feeling? I was just listening to Toi Doi - Nuage D'encens, and the end, the final acid-climax is SOOO intense, same with Filteria - Navigate, Section X - Sector X Cosmosis - Howling At The Moon Moonweed - Telepath seems like it are mostly very fast acid-goa-trance songs...

well, in fact it was a rethorical question, I am sure many people will love that line up... but like Scott Basilisk said, it are 40 times the same clones... this probably means people are not very critical... there are 3-4 decent groups on the line up I like (Tamlin, Xenomorph, Marathi, Parasense) but if you have to hear 5 days of the same beat for that... I'd rather go to another party... Also, because of the huge overload there is nothing special anymore about a live act imo... and well, I better shut up, I don't like the line up so I won't be there, that's my simple conclusion

Is there anybody that thinks this is a good line up? I knew this would happen... I think i'll organise some party in my garden that date Frantic, if you like those artists, go to trancesylvania in Romania instead this summer... 20 killer highly psychedelic dark trance artists...
