  1. As far as I know Dutch people only live in Holland The flemish part of Belgium talks Dutch (or rather Flemish), bu we aren't Dutch, we are Belgian (or Flemish) Anyway, yes, who are all those belgians here? I know of Rain, Lepton, Lemmiwinks posting frequenctly, I saw Lars, Benjy and Fretshe posting too... Where is the rest hiding?
  2. well, maybe it's about time people forget about Pleiadians and Etnica's golden age... it's gone and it won't come back, never... So don't even hope for it anymore... But don't worry, there is a new melodi goa-generation it seems, many good artists out there About Filteria, yes, he has been working in the studios of Etnicanet, but that doesn't mean it's with the guys of Etnica... But he'll keep you guys updated soon

    Subcouds

he will play live in Belgium in 1.5 month, I heard him live this summer in Sweden and he played alot of old tracks, but he remixed them, so they sounded GREAT! he may release new music in the future
  4. just start with some more easy to find cds you can find Filteria - Sky input in the same style Toi Doi - Technologic Etnica - Alien Protein Pure planet compilation
  5. well, read well what's written by me... There are only very few countries with a recognisable sound... I don't hear when a track is from Portugal, or Sweden, or America... But I do hear when it's from SA...
  6. I agree with Basilisk, many SA artists have the "Skazi-disease" imo, which means "you don't have to know a track to hear it is from SA", so almost always the same sounds and building up... which doesn't mean there are no good acts in between... Twisted System is a very good album imo, Artifakt as well and the compilation "The Encroachment" is my favourite SA comp
  7. yes I agree with most of the people here, less good as before 99, but the best year last 4-5 years! I have at least 7-8 véry good albums from this year, which is alot, and 20+ good albums/comps like Lepton said, the dark psychedelic trance (or techno, as you wish) is growing now (and will be the next wave probably), but if you are more into weird highly psychedelic music, check out the Finnish or Australian stuff
  8. héhé, check out Psy Harmonics vol. 3 - Hacking The Reality Myth, only music in the same style as Acient Suns... A great track imo that brought me closer to Finnish/Australian music
  9. In this list I chose Deep Dive Corporation, I think they are very underrated and their first album is a masterpiece, but equally first is Shpongle of course And well, Asura - Code Eternity is great too but not really chill/Ambient imo The best chill (without rhytm) is Hesius Dome - Farewell Waltz imo (just released on psy harmonics) and I also want to mention Amaruvision, their album was very good too imo
  10. I have been thinking about this, and well, no real answer came up to my mind the most original countries are Finland and Australia for sure in the earlier days Israel was probably the leading nation, with France and UK very close... But today, well, too hard good music is produced everywhere, but if I had to choose, probably Sweden or Finland
  11. Most have been mentioned already (EU, Schult,...) but there is one guitar track forgotten here... Prana - Taiyo (Chakra Rmx), what an insane acid-trance guitar track that is
  12. Hello, well, maybe it is a different song, because the women sais it after 2-3 Minutes... But on the same compilation you have the song: Framic - Status X And there is the woman saying the same in the beginning, it's also very melodic with some acid-sounds in it... so check out those 2, it's probably one of both
  13. well, Acid-(goa)trance has been a great genre for years, but it seems to be dead now, a pitty... Ambient-classical would be great too, a violin is such a powerfull instrument
  14. Try following cds for hard dark industrial edged trance: -Schuldt - Tearing The Fright single and the last album -Psychotic Micro vs Azax Syndrome - Voices of Madness (Parvati) -Try other schlab releases as well, as nr 1 and 3 are hard but 2 is rather soft -all Derango tracks on various compilations -Holeg a The Spies - Godisnogoth rmx -The nam Schub of Enki - Fuck piece If you like hard techno-trance -Source Unknwon - AM Reciever hard old school: Cosmoon albums UX album Syb Unity Nettwork singles Section X - Atlantis
  15. there are several tracks with that sample, but like you describe it it must be the EPD - Spiritual Hallucination track It's on the "greetings from goa" compilation, and it's a killer melodic track
  16. well, it was a challenge between Astral, MFG and Power Source for me, but MFG is 0.1 better than the rest I think
  17. I just had the new hesuis dome - farewell Waltz from Psy Harmonics! That's exactly where you are looking for, perfectly chilled music, with soft floating sounds without any rhytm... It will be soon available at Saikosounds
  18. Pelinpala - Dance Like A Tree Pelinpala (cd): My cd has landed on the next door neighbours dog Rip Von Hippy (cd): The whole world's hip and that's not cool Antediluvian Rocking Horse: Whatever Happened To The People With Chairs Up Their Noses? Lumukunda - Vee Haav Zee Bombe (hehe, read it in French)
  19. for me storytellers are softer and more dreamlike... altough your tracks are killers Rain but ok, my favourite storytellers (at this particular moment) Paradise Connection (ALBUM!) but Portamento in particular Ambient Meditations 1 (Album, it's a mix and WHAT a story) Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom - The Wave Inside Electric Universe - One Love In trance - Sorceres Fete Masa - Beautiful People
  20. probably Tikal, I enjoyed 2-3 tracks of their album...
  21. well, for me it must be like 6-10 hours a day too...
  22. Yes, I remember in Sweden there were several girls wearing furry fluoro boots, I had never seen them before, and in Sweden they were everywhere But like others said, don't judge people on clothes... And well, I wear mostly fluoro clothes (space tribe and others), but I'm in the scene for 6 years now so it's not because of coolness I'm just one of those lost hippies
  23. Please shut up it are the most beautiful psychedelic clothes imo
  24. South Africa: Protoculture, Shift, twisted System, Rabdom L,... Finland: Texas Faggot, Squaremeat, Huopatossu Mononen, Luomuhappo, Mandalavandalz,...
  25. well, the most whirling track I know is MFG - We are the machines, every 20 seconds there are more effects and melodies, and it keeps going on forever... That's like a vortex... Scatterbrain has some tracks that give the same effect, it's like you are in some star wars, weird sounds flying around you everywhere... (ok, I didn't mention the finnish possé here, but many of them are véry whirling too)
