of course I can't answer the questions for Filteria, but some questions I can answer (and well, you could find all the info on our homepage www.suntriprecords.com) so, Mars is 1/2 of suntrip records, together with me, both taking care of different things, but we fit together very well for that I think Our aim is just to release quality music which is not full on, altough our main taste is melodic goa trance, we are interested in all kinds of other music as well as ethnic, ambient, progressive (morning) trance,... So everyone interested in releasing something, or maybe our opinion, please send a mail to Anoebis@suntriprecords.com or Mars@suntriprecords.com or send us a promo (addresses on the website) and well, I think saying Sky Input is "goa trance" or "psychedelic trance" is just a definition thing... let's call it psychedelic goa trance :D Naah, for me goa trance is just the floating, melodic, psychedelic music, but someone else that definition can be different of course, but we can't deny our first album was inspired by the good "old school" period... and we will release a compilation in the future with some more tracks at least in that style About cd sales, well, Hallucinogen used to sell alot of albums, untill the market collapsed because of MP3... We are véry véry far from the sales of 1997! My favourite track on the cd must be Navigate, i've been playing it for months now on belgian parties and it kills, everytime again Bom!

Dream Creation - The Sound of Freedom from Transient is in my top 3... Together with, let's think... Goa Head 3 Galactic Nebula... (it's more like an album but ok)
-
Well, total concioussness is no nitzhonot imo, that's just good uplifting goa trance Anyway, Asia 2001 has many great tracks imo, so I choose for him (I can't understand why Lemmiwinks calls him mediocre and amateurish, he's in my all time goa top 10 list!)

volunteers for developing a nuskool goa webpage
Anoebis replied to AmithabaBuddha's topic in General Psytrance
You would be surprised how many original melodic goa trance artists are still making music... -
You'll find Travelling 1 once in a while on ebay it's a total killer indeed... It's one of my favourite epic trance tracks...
-
Well, I posted this topic 2 weeks ago, but anyway, it is true I was on the dancefloor at that moment, their music changed a little, more full on basslines (not the typical one!) but on top much more psychedelic sounds and melodies then in regular full on Also much more rhytm-work then before but there were only 4-5 mfg tracks, and 4 passanger tracks in the live act
-
It's the same man as Sandman... And Magic Frequencies is even better imo
-
Shakta - Lepton Head (Deedrah Rmx) Silent Sphere vs The Muses Rapt - Fiesta Filteria - Navigate Scatterbrain - Mexican Jesus Cosmosis - San Yacid

and well, now I've listened to Spiritual Trance 2 from Goa Gill, must be one of the best also, héhé (shit mixing but great music!!) and Nemo, héhé, mixes from Anti must have been nice back them, I heard about it But ok, that's why I said officially released cds, otherwise everybody will be like "that dj, called DJ I Am A Superstar, made a great mix yesterday..." And nobody knows where he is talking about
-
I was listening to Psychedelic Goa Core 1 again this morning, and I was awake in 20 second! What a great cd, what a great tracklist, the mixes aren't great but it's probably the only officially released mix cd that is 100% my taste, pure acid trance :) So What's yours?

Well, they are still alive!!!!?? They played live in Belgium 2 weeks ago their music evoluated again, more full on like basslines, but the music on top was still more melodic and psychedelic and much work was done on the rhytmic section. Actually right now they are creating a new album
-
skazi, skazi... Did I mention Skazi? and probaly all gms/astrix/cyber cartel/Space Buddha/Saafi Connection,......... clones out there
-
Well, for me the genre with electronic psychedelic music is Psychedelic Trance the melodic sub-group of psychedelic trance that is no full on is Goa Trance for me and well, in Belgium the name goa is more for old school parties, and psytrance for "modern" sound
-
Well, I would say Filteria (ok, I'm based, but still ), the new Torakka album, the Pure Planet compilation and maybe also Essential Trip and Synsun album About Blue Vortex, one of my favourite albums of 2004 too, very morning, soft and dreamy trance

My rarest cds... Hard to say, just as Ukiro sais, unreleased material is out of the question, but I have at least 80 cds at home that are not on discogs, and there are many strange ones between them I never heard about before I bought them...
-
If there are 2 killers or 4 decent tracks I buy an album... But Gaëtan, I think as a dj you are more picky then as a "normal" listener... A very good track on a very bad cd can be gold for a dj because other djs don't want to buy that cd because it's too bad...
-
really!? or that dj set should be REALLY old, or it is wrongly labelled as a dj set of me... Where do you got it from? if you can put a sample online I could say it for sure, but check out those songs, it's 90% chance it's one of them
-
hmm... Chi-ad - Healing Magic Sonic Fusion - Xxtatik Ritual Sonic Fusion - Tribal Warrior these are the firsts ones that pop up in my mind...
-
Asia 2001 - Strange world is very recommended if you like old school goa trance with an acid twist! The other one doesn't ring a bell for me
