Well, the Belgian Logic Bomb story is cleared now, but you have to admit that there was something terribly wrong... (as far as David told me you would send the contract and at once you decieded to let them play on another party in Belgium 2 weeks later and to destroy our agreement)
-
we had a lot of shit with the guy too... He said to be the manager of Logic Bomb (?) but no money involved luckely...
-
New Electric Universe would be nice, also new Darksoho, new Astral projection, new MFG, new Ka Sol & Buddhas, new Fractal Glider will rock,... So much to look for!
-
I saw a live act of Indoor or Inscape on a page not long ago on the net, and this surprised me, do they still make music??? And what about all following acts? I know some still perform live, but what about new music...? Power Source MFG Mystica Nada Total Eclipse Man With No Name EPD Laughing Buddha Miranda Indica ...?

The new Zorba Asura some Klangstrahler Projct and Feuerhake some old slower Miranda/Athena songs and maybe you should try some Platipus stuff again... It would work in the afternoon
-
well... if this is NOT morning music... Then I would love every morning dj that plays even more melodies, even more uplifting! Well... tha album itself is nice, but also dissapointing because there is only 1 full on song on it, the rest is rather downbeat... Nice songs, but not really party music... Anyway, Datora KICKS ASSSSSSSS!

California Sunshine - Sinking Sand Artist: California Sunshine Title: Sinking Sand Label: Out Of Orion Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. The Pure 02. Whirlpool 03. Untitled 04. Full Power 05. Secrets Behind The Universe 06. Language 07. Voice Of God 08. Ghost Copies 09. Utopia Review: Well... What can I say... I do like Out of orion for their new input and their melodic old school releases But this cd is just mediocre! I also think the tracks are not what CS is making at this moment... i saw them live a few weeks ago here in Belgium and it was much more Astrix-style. Anyway, we do have a nice collection of old school music here, with Whirlpool already released on Ptzatzot 2 I think... Most other tracks are in the same style, so rather melodic, but with a sound quality and basslines that just sound old! Exceptions are nummber 6 and 7, which are very good old school melodic goa-trance. It gets a 6/10 from me (because I'm still an old school lover )

Setsuko is right... I never ask a dj without original cd's on my parties... Sounds cruel but this is the only way at least SOME artists get better sales anyway, I think it's going so bad because there are FAR TOO MANY releases with many many crappy ones... There are a few (5-10) new psy-cds every week... nobody can afford that! 2-3 years ago there was maximum 2-3 release every week! And I don't think the scene grew that rapidly! Also, many label owners are not really smart by releasing always the same stuff... 6 years ago it was ALL melodic, 3 years ago almost all minimal and now almost all gms-like (with a splitted progressive scene)... i think it would be good some labels would concentrate again on music which people like... And héhé, that's NOT only gms and X-Dream..... How many people aren't screaming for some more melodic on this forum... Doesn't that ring a bell? also there are way too many people without job etc that simply can't buy cds and still love the music... So what do they do? Copy it...

Now that we are doing shameless self-promotion David... If you want to hear the Schlab 5 tracks on a BIG soundsystem with a Ka Sol and Battle Buddha Live act... Come to Belgium the 5th of april or mail me Bom! Ps: this cd will kick ass... Except ONE song Altough I love the Ozrics
-
After about 1 years searching there are 2 albums I can't find ANYWHERE!!!! And I want them SOOOOOOO badly, so isn't there anyone interested in trading them or something!? (NO MP3's!!!) These are the albums Power Source - Cosmic Waves Dimension 5 - Transdimensional thanks
-
I have mixed feelings about it... Less good as last year for sure, and most of the full on groups that are on the line-up have been performing there already... So this year I'll probably visit some other festivals... (I am afraid this years edition will not have the same magic as last year... Overcrowding (no boom! this year) looks like a big risk....)
-
What do you prefer????? (no it's not a full-on vs. Minimal t
Anoebis replied to a topic in General Psytrance
It depends on the music! When you play véry old skool music from 95 etc mixing is véry hard and a fade-in fade-out mix can be good enough to continue the trip when you play more progressive stuff the mixing becomes more and more important so you have a good storytelling... -
Jaia - Blue Energy fits in your description perfectly
-
Xenomorph - Cassandra's nightmare is véry scary psy-trance (ambient)
-
Well... the cd IS just amazing! It was thé minimal trance variant in 1995 (héhé, compared to minimal now this is FILLLED music)... anyway, its filled with squeeky, alien noises everywhere! Great, long, deep, tribal tracks which create a unique atmosphere... Also the rhytms sections are véry interesting all through the cd! Ant Invasion must be one of the best tribal tracks ever! Specially the rhytm section in the middle before the melody comes in

Please be careful with the genitals... pretty lame sample if you understand German
-
Electric Universe has some killer tracks on EVERY cd he made... also there are also some fillers, so all his cd's are pretty strange to me... Non of them is awesome, but I want them all because of the killer tracks For me the best album of him is Divine Design altough Transmission and the ambient tracks on Unify have such a high standard that it is almost as good! Anyway, if you ever have the chance to see him live....... Check him out! Best live act out there! ps: TBE => what's your mail address these days
-
Where: See flyer (or send me mail) When: 5th of april, so still some time left!
-
Also Morphem - 15 seconds is an amazing downtempo trance track
-
Goa to hear, places to see (best/biggest parties 2003)
Anoebis replied to a topic in General Psytrance
Well, there are many big festivals in Germany, but full moon seems (line-up wise) the best for me live and dj sets of groups like Astral Projection, Astrix, Yahel, Skazi,... Also VooV is worth your travel (probably the biggest festival this year in Europe?) at the end of Summer you have Samothraki of course! which will be killer again I guess (but rather expensive) if you like melodic trance you should check out Rhakti Dei in Belgium, they are still working on the line-up but groups like FRACTAL GLIDER, THE MUSES RAPT, ZORBA,... Should come ;) and every country has its own "top summer festival", check out goatrance.de maybe -
hey Lurk, great you'll come too And party-promoting wise I decieded to work together with merrie melodies too (so next weekend Silicon Sound Live, and in september Talamasca) but of course the PLUR-parties continue ps: you understand enough dutch do understand this: Onkruid vergaat niet
-
Downtempo trance... One name: ASURA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also check out the Movers & Groovers compilations & Galaxy albums
-
One of the buddhas was working his ass of in Tanzania... Climbing on the Kilimanjaro etc you know no, seriously... There will be 2 more Schlabbaduerst compilations coming up in the near future Also check out the releases of Stone Age Records (comps like Orebro Freak Factory), that have the same kind of sound and tracks... or like the cover sais: Psychedelic Super Trance!! And now time for some advertisement, if you are NOT far from Belgium, there will be a party with both Ka Sol and the Buddhas live on the 4th of April :D
