  1. ask the guys of Psyside, they know eachother well!! Bom!
  2. Setsuko, you don't get it!! ((( I and many others don't LIKE progressive Trance. (sorry)! It's not because we don't accept change, I do accept that, but I simply don't like a steady beat for a whole night with only here and there a small melody and no climaxes at all! Just respect that! That's why I organise full on parties here, so the people that still like the old-school feeling can party as much as they want!! (and you know there are maybe even more old-school lovers here in belgium) You choose yourself if you wanne come or not! And I don't think the old-school spirit is present at Progressive Trance events!! I was during New Year at Aorta's 100% progressive party!! And I NEVER heard anyone scream, There was no fluoro-decoration, only disco-like lights, nobody ever throwed their hands in the air, no people were freaking out... Everybody was standing and dancing there like on I Love Techno or Kozzmozz parties. No offence, but understand that is not the way other people like you want to party!! And if you love both styles, great, just go to both kinda parties!! Bom Shankar!
  3. AP - People Can fly California Sunshine - Over Line MFG - When we Dream Phreaky - Over the moon Xerox & Freeman - Gata Freak Etnica - Party Droid Sun project - Space Dwarfs The Muses Rapt - Spiritual Healing ... For all the Belgians, there will be a small (max 150 people) retro melodic old school party 31th of may!! ;-)) Bom Shankar!!
  4. nono Tom... I am going to parties already for 4-5 years, and the minimal wave only started here 2 years ago... And I also want the train to turn back!! (at least a PART of the train, let it split!) The tech-trance has nothing more to do with GOA-Trance, and I think I am stuck in that good old melodic sound!! I can't stand 2 hours of music without any melody, ONLY sounds... So my point is once again, don't try to convert eachother... just go to the parties you like!! Ps to Setsuko: -Club Trance is not even close to Goa-Trance of years ago!! -There are more & more non-minimal (full on)releases again, and that is because the command is still there!! ;-)) -Sometimes minimal is véry close to Techno, the latest Delta album or Source Unknown!! Aorta have played tracks of them on regular techno-events!! Bom! Anoebis
  5. haha, strat to check out stuff like Rip Von Hippy Antideluvian Rocking Horse Fluoro Conspiracy The Visitors Mantaray AB Didgeridoo Oblivion Lukumunda That is all weird, Australian, Psy harmonics stuff Bom!
  6. Whoaaaa, today I fell in love (again) with... Astral projection - Axis!! (the unmixed version of course!! => on Destniation Goa10) Man, play that one loud, véry loud and enjoy........ Bom Shankar!
  7. no, NOT yet... It will be open thursday, friday and saturday!! Major sales then (-50%) and after that there is no taboo enymore... ((( luckely there is something as internet those days!! So we can still order CD's Bom Shankar! Anoebis
  8. Here are some songs where more then a few Belgian parties ended with!!! So, not the last song of the night, but of the whole party: Domi vs. Juan vs. Jorg - Spiritual Healing RMX Infected Mushroom - Bust-A-Move Four Carry Nuts - Donuts Darksoho - Depth of Emotion Yahel - Last Man In The Universe Bom Shankar! Anoebis
  9. nono Kristian! At the VooV there is a mix of everything, there is more Psy-tekk then Psy/goa-trance, but last year we couldn't complain with groups and acts/dj's like Shpongle, Hallucinogen, Raja Ram Dj-set during the MORNING!!!, Space Tribe and some more unknown melodic dj's!! ;-)) But i'll check out the full on festival in Austria for sure, seemd like it is the ONLY festival in Europe with only melodic/full on music! Bom Shankar! Joske
  10. One Word!! Transmission!!!! The last song on the main stage of VooV this year was that song while there was starting a thunderstorm... my god, how SWEEEEEEET memories!!!! Also during their live-act here in Belgium... when there was a circus-act doing all kind of stuff they were playing this magical song!! I have been searching for it since then, and now I finally have it!! Words can not express my feelings when I hear that melody... Pure Adrenaline!! The other songs are mostly nice, and very old-school, but they don't reach the lavel of Transmission!! All together 8/10 because it is one of thise rare great goa-cd's those days!! (WHY not making more stuff like THIS???????)!! Bom!
  11. Aha... Good questions, and you are right!! Goa-Trance as well as Psy-tekk are floroushing here and they have formed 2 completely different but great scenes!! We do have some bands that make music, but only 1 of them has released anything so far and that is Concentrix!! They released a Single about a year ago with 2 Israeli-trance influenced songs... But the label Senseblender will release many stuff in the future!! (altough the releases seem to have some delay...) Goa/Psy-Trance: Munchy (véry powerful with guitars etc) Ebolah (More experimental with Sax etc) Concentrix (A year ago more melodic, now more Psy-trance) Smoozz (not from the Sensblender label but GREAT stuff, Tim Schuldt style) Psy-Tekk Sanka (no comment, not my cup of tea) Chill Out Jovic Storor And that's all where I can think of right now!! ;-)) Bom Shankar! Anoebis Ps: Maybe one of the reasons why there is no Trance from Belgium is because most artists are still make melodic stuff, and there are only véry few labels interested in that...
  12. It depends!! You have the bigger and more commercial events here in Belgium (with 1000, sometimes even 2000 people), but no good vibes here and no real Goa-heads!! You also have every weekend a few Psy-tekk and Goa-Trance parties here with 100-500 people!! Bom Shankar Anoebis
  13. I discovered a while ago when I was spinning some Astral projection in the morning on a party that their songs are ALL very low BPM for such intense full on dance-music!! Most of their songs are less then 140 BPM!! Also one of those FULL ON making crazy songs that is véry slow is Tim Schuldt - Ohm Shiva Döda Hundens Kyrka - Inte Ett öga Torrt Does anyone of you know more songs in this slow full on style!? Bom Shankar! Anoebis
  14. Definitely MAMOOSHKA from Yahel and Erez on the last SST, sounds rather cheesy imo!! Bom Shankar! Anoebis
  15. Well, let's keep it simple... Splitting up the scene is NOT necessary... BUT... People should know what kind of music they will hear at a party!! (Full On or Psy-Tekk) Here in belgium the scene already splitted, you have every weekend & Goa/full on party AND a progressive/Psy Tekk party!! And the people know what to expect, so no more complaining about the music!! ;-)) Bom Shankar! Anoebis

    to Anoebis

Well Mars!! Sorry, I couldn't reply earlier on your mail because I was in Antwerp last 3 days, but I'll reply later this evening, make some phonecalls so I know how it exactly will be!! (but because of many reasons there's a chance the date will be cancelled!! *grmbl*) Byebye!! ;-))) And Stoney!, i do my best, héhé, I hope to see you on ICQ for the picture-thing!! Bom Shankar! Anoebis
  17. haha, maybe she voted 100 times for herself!? ;-))) Bom!
  18. Personally I think that's because of 2 things... -Children doesn't have the time to update that kinda stuff all the time -there are still more old-school lovers as new-school lovers!?? (I do not know that for sure though, and please, no WAR now!!) ;-)) I think the right albums are highlighted though!! ;-)) Bom Shankar! Anoebis
  19. Alpha, it sounds very techno-like, not my cup of tea at all!! So I think it's boring stuff (yeah, sorry => old-school freak!!) NO OFFENCE!! Bom Shankar Anoebis
  20. A question I always had was... Why is so called NIZTHONOT reviewed between psy-trance and goa-cd's? And... What is going on in artists that make this "music"? Bom Shankar! ANoebis

    V/A - Enlightment

V/A - Enlightment Artist: Various Title: Enlightment Label: Koyote Date: 1998 Track listing: 01. Modern Primitives : Cape Of Good Dope 02. Aeternum : Low Gravity 03. Ominus : Saucer Dip 04. Freekim : Mid Desert 05. Xenomorph : Mind Puzzle 06. Menis : The Drugs Do Work (Live Mix) 07. Blacklight : Da Groove 08. Motor Mouse : Indeli 09. Conka : Oyo Review: it's a cd from 96 so the music is more old style, but not really melodic... (dark and weird mostly) The first song is rather slow with not enough power. Rather boring with some stupid samples of people making weird noise!! The second song is already much better... Sound a bit a like GMS those days, but with a little more originality!! Number 3 is in the same style... So good night-time trance! Number 4 is the best for me... You can feel the golden hand of Ofer Dikovsky in this one... it starts with a hypnotic melody, and then the guitars come in!! Yes, true party classic and party-killer!! ;-) Number 5 is typical Xenomorph old-style... a little more melodic then those days, bust still with that creapy atmosphere! The Menis track is also rather dark, and very full on with fast acid-sounds... Number 7 is the worst track on the cd, it is very bad quality and the bassline sucks!! Motor Mouse is the old name of Shiva Chandra, and the song is in the Spicy Moments Style... so rather melodic. Conka finishes this cd with a rather experimental song. I would recommend this cd to all people who like dark, full on trance from '96... Would give it 7/10!! Bom Shankar!

    Wizzy Noise - Cyclotron

yes, it is a nice cd from Wizzy Noise! And don't forget the label is Candyflip!! (on this site it was anounced as a Spiral Trax release) Best song for my taste are the last 3 ones!! really full on acid-bubbling songs!! Specially 9 is a real killer!! Bom Shankar!
  23. It will be online soon, I have it here next too me and review it asap! ;-)) Bom!
