Here we are with the fourth Schlab cd!! This one is dedicated to hypnotic maximal trance!! Not as full on as number 2... but more trance-orientated!! Songs that go-on forever with a stomping beat and some catchy sounds... let's start the review... The cd starts with one of the best songs! Signal made a very hard stomping piece of psychedelic music here, the whole song we have a little melody that catches your attention and it won't leave you for 10 minutes!!! The second song is in the same style, but with a kickbass... and in the middle we get those typical scandinavian forest sounds... mmmm!! The 3d song is already tourching the Belgian dancefloor for a few months, and every time I play it people go in a deep trance. At first sight it sounds boring, but there is always more and more "noise" coming, and that is what the song makes so special... Reminds me of Tim Schuldt's - Ohm Shiva. Then we have 3 Ka-Sol tracks, and we can best describe them as full on and we! ird music for the end of the night/begin of the morning with all kind of disorted melodies!! Speacially number 4 and 6 are very nice!! (number 6 is a pure morning trance anthem!!). Number 7 is the only song on the cd I don't like... It's slow and sounds rather commercial!! The cd ends with a slow song (135) of Ka Sol which is a little too weird for most of the people I guess... All together the best cd of schlab together with schlab 002 (altough this is different style)! i would give this 8-8.5/10! Bom Shankar!

Well, I visited him last week and while I was there he was making tracks a la Digital Stuctures. He will also work together in a few weeks with James Monro and he had contact with Son Kite!! So... He's not leaving the Psy-trance scene, he just continues with doing his own thing!! (and he was already progressive for a LONG time!) He have played on some Techno-parties here in Belgium a few months back together with Trish, but that project (called Commin Rock) is already over!! Bom Shankar! Anoebis

Well, I have to tell my story here too!! Taboo Records was NOT bad runned!! When the owners want to do something else (Caroline will stufy again and Maarten will work full-time in his studio) it's their chose, and that's the best reason to close down the shop!! And I hope it's not crisis in the psy-world, because there's a rather big chance I will be the next owner of taboo (under a different name of course) and with more then just goa-cd's, also clothes, LOTS of clothes, and more experimental and Psychedelic Rock cd's....... I thought this album was slow and boring... Somehow it sounds like Atmos, but more housy... Yukkk Bom Shankar

Mediocre cd, it is really psychedelic but there is not much of a (melodic) line in the album imo... Too Much and Wild Ride are good tracks though... 5.5/10 Bom Shankar

When you hear 1 song of this album it's really nice, full on, peak time acid Trance!! But... all 8 songs are complete madness, so this album is simply to intens to listen at once!! Maybe it's even too intens for playing at parties... But sometimes I can dig this style and song 3 and 6 are really kick ass... So 7/10 Bom Shankar!

An average freestyle album... But I think this should be reviewed at the "Ambient-section"! Anyway, The first 3 tracks are ok, with nice Ethnic influences, after those tracks we have some cheesy tracks that remind of a Safari-movie, with all the happy pappy melodies somewhere in the African bush! Big exception is the last song... LOVELY!! It was already on heavy machinery, but this version is longer!! Didgeridoo and tribal drums that go on and go on...All together 6/10 with a 9,5/10 for the last song!
