V/A - Israel's Psychedelic Trance 4 Artist: Various Title: Israel's Psychedelic Trance 4 Label: Trust In Trance Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 09'48" Faithless : God Is A DJ (Astral Projection Rmx) 02. 08'19" Neptune : 95 FM 03. 08'53" Neptune : Beyond Gravity 04. 07'45" Fkafka : Beat of the Universe 05. 08'13" Cardinal Groove : Cardiforia 06. 08'14" Neptune : Fireball 07. 07'06" SFX : Millennia 08. 08'14" Fkafka : Horizon 09. 07'17" Domestic : Radioactive Kinder Bueno Review: The worst of the collection!! Really a dissapointement!! The Israeli Goa is changing, but that's not always good (surely not on this CD!!) For example that remix of God Is A DJ from Astral projection... It really sucks!! I guess i'm tired of their sound... Ok, there are still 3 good songs on it (5,6&9) but there's nothing more to say about it!! Bom Shankar

Luminus - Journey Into Your Dream Artist: Luminus Title: Journey Into Your Dream Label: HOM-Mega Date: 1998 Track listing: 01. 07'24" Jungle Traveller 02. 07'38" Luminous Angel (Rmx) 03. 06'44" Baby's Fairytale (Crying Mix) 04. 07'47" Road Runner 05. 07'25" Journey into Your Dream 06. 06'36" Good Or Bad 07. 06'17" Have Fun (Album Edit) 08. 07'00" Eyes Of God 09. 06'21" Antifreeze Review: After hearing their song on Diablo on the SST-label I expected strong Mushroom-music here, but that was completely wrong!! It's melodic morning Trance!! And Dunno why, but at the moment I'm not in Nitzhonot mood enymore, I like it a little harder and darker I Guess!! But there are still some pretty good songs on it; 4,5,6&9!! Bom Shankar

V/A - Kumharas Artist: Various Title: Kumharas Label: Shiva Space Technology Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 03'16" Shiva Shidapu : Intro 02. 12'00" Shiva Shidapu : Tiwanacu 03. 08'05" Project N Feat DJ Sha-mane : Eair 04. 07'21" Moksha : Morphik Labyrinth 05. 12'00" Jörg On Mushroom : The Messenger 06. 08'52" Members Of Wah : Hotel Sumatra 07. 16'00" DPOD : Long Caravan Au Soleil 08. 07'42" Shawn : Nexti Review: A Wonderful Ambient CD of the label of Jörg Kessler!!! Some songs will brainwash you... I Didn't knew that Ambient could be so strong!! There are 4 really awesome songs on it!!! nr2,3,7&8! I know most people will like the combination between Infected Mushroom and Jörg Kessler the most, but it's more Psychedelic Drum'n Bass, and I don't like it that much... Also a pretty good song is Members Of Wah (Aka Sinister Funk)!! Bom Shankar

V/A - Morning In Space Artist: Various Title: Morning In Space Label: Phonokol Date: 1998 Track listing: 01. 07'51" Magic Spirit : Dardasim 02. 07'16" Ezotery Space : Wish Master 03. 08'48" Ezotery Space : Dracula 04. 06'50" Magic Spirit : Indian Spirit 05. 08'49" Elliptical And Tatrium : Dark AG 06. 07'26" Magic Spirit : Full Power 07. 07'35" Ezotery Space : Weird Magic 08. 07'31" Ezotery Space : Sun in Space 09. 09'11" RL : Analog Review: I found this compilation somewhere in my room dusted... That says enough I think?? So not a good compilation, it's very melodic and typical "NITZHONOT" (=> Israëlian Morning-Trance)!! Altough most of the songs are NOT good and mostly they sound pretty commercial, there's one good song on it, and that's nr 9!! It doesn't belong here at all!! So a rather rarely bad release from Phonokol!! Bom Shankar

V/A - Sonic Boom Artist: Various Title: Sonic Boom Label: BooM! Date: 1997 Track listing: 01. 06'37" Battle Of The Future Buddhas : Filoti 02. 07'54" Cosmoon : Pandora's Box 03. 06'47" Dogma : Delta Drave 04. 07'47" Synchro : Promises 05. 06'39" Cosmoon : Curiosity Killed The Cat 06. 08'38" Dr Jekyl : Narcissus Intoxicus 07. 08'02" Trinity : Praying Hands 08. 08'16" Celtic : Makewaver 09. 07'35" Yopo : Tribute To Tim Leary Review: The First CD of Boom! Records, and at that time they didn't know exactly what they wanted I guess... There are some very good songs on it, but also some rather boring songs... The CD starts with the Battle Buddha's, and that song is Awesome, but we don't expect antyhing else of them, because they're really great!! Song 2,4&7 are pretty good!! Unfortunately song 3,5&6 are NOT good!! That Dr Jekyl is even BAD!! Way too boring!! Luckely this CD ends with two Very good songs (nr 8 is GREAT)!! I guess I don't have to say those songs are all pretty hard (like usual on Boom!-Cd's!!) Mostly about 148 bpm, but celtic even 154 bpm!! Bom Shankar
-
The Best Goa-Head compilation!! This is overall very good!! Lot's of the songs are well known party songs but I still love it!! CD1 is really verious, all kinds of Psychedelic Trance... Best songs are 3,4,5,8,9&10!! Song 8 is even one of the most trippy songs I've ever heard...!! on CD2 we have a very good average but only two véry good songs!! The one of Dimension 5 and surely one of the best Israeli songs ever made... MFG with To Eternity!! Bom Shankar
-
I Agree with Gav, this CD is indeed as good as the first one!! I don't like CD1 very much, there are some very good songs on it (1,3,9&11) but the other songs are rather bad... CD2 is lots better, it are ALL good songs except nr.8 (What that song is doing here is a real mystery to me!!!) On CD 2 I like song 6,7&9 the most!! Bom Shankar
-
If "Van Halen" is the only very good song on this CD I can only recommand everybody to buy "Trance, Dance And Magic Plants" if you wanne have that song of Lunar Asylum!! Because on that CD you have "Van Halen" and alot of very good other songs!! Bom Shankar

I'm Really A Shamed that I bought this bull-shit!! This was certainly my last CD of the "Goa-Trance" series!! When you see this in the stores, beware, it looks like normal Goa-trance but it isn't!! It is bad constructed commercial stuff!! If you ever wanne buy something of the "Goa-Trance" series, you have to buy 1,2,3 or maybe 4, but after that it is ****** The only good song on those 2 CD's is CD2 nr 3!!! Bom Shankar

V/A - Trance Mix 9 Artist: Various Title: Trance Mix 9 Label: Melodia Date: 1998 Track listing: 01. 09'44" Power Source : Vorlan 02. 09'15" Red Headed : Psycho Train 03. 07'06" Indica : Hunted Hunters 04. 08'55" Power Source : Granada (Rmx 98) 05. 09'45" Children of the Doc : Police 106 06. 07'54" Freeman Vs Liquid Metal : Tour de Trance 07. 07'51" Digital Sun And DJ Kaya : Walls of Mistery 08. 08'16" Comet : Illuminated Review: This CD is ok, but nothing more than that!! Some good are being mixed with bad tracks!! I think the best tracks are the two of Power Source... and the song Children Of The Doc!! Except of that pretty dissapointing, it are listenable tracks, but nothing more... Luckily it's pretty good mixed!! Bom Shankar

It's also beautifully mixed and it's all pretty melodic, this is also really a building up CD with a height during song 4 And 5 and after that it's going down back... Slowly!! Best songs are 3,4,5,6!! (It's not an accident that it are the songs in the middle of the mix!!) If there's a day you wanne hear a very good Israeli Goa-remix, you should buy this one! Bom Shankar!

What is this??? This CD is all made by 1 producer!! (Ingmar Veeck) and he's operating under names as Avi Missim (Almost like the name of the guy of A.P., Avi Nissim) or names as Sphinx And Joking (Amost like the name of Joking Sphinx) And Last but not least Aminate FX (Amanite FX is the orginal name)!! So this is fucking commercial Goa-music!! Luckely there are some good songs on it (CD1 nr1,5&6) and on cd nr 2, 3,4&5!! But after this CD Ingmar Veeck made only fucking commercial BULL-SHIT!! Buy never something from this label unless Goa Trance 1,2,3!! (There are still more artists on it!!) So please forget this, DON'T buy it, cuz that's the way how Goa-music will be commercial someday!!! Bom Shankar

But most of those songs have been made by the same people!! Good songs are the songs of Colorbox (they are on more compilations so I guess everyone knows them) but also song 11 of CD1!! On CD2 TMM rulezzz (it's the same guy who made Trance Dance for Astral Projection)!!! A Great piece of building-up trance!! That song is worth your money!! Also véry good is nr 9!! (Now those Croatians are now under Boom! Records-label!!) But here they show a piece of great talent, it even sounds like a mix between "Psycho" And "Virtual Voyage" of Infected Mushroom!! Song 10 also pretty good, but it's rather normal Trance!! Bom Shankar

V/A - The World Of Goa-Trance 2 Artist: Various Title: The World Of Goa-Trance 2 Label: ZYX-Music Date: 1999 Track listing: CD 1 01. 07'47" Man With No Name Presents Yogi And Grey One : Big Troubles In Outer Space (Oforia Rmx) 02. 07'11" Psygone : Kashmir 03. 05'29" Astral Projection : Solid Electronics 04. 06'07" Bypass Unit : Spectral Collapse 05. 02'11" Analog Pussy : Psychobitch From Hell 06. 06'25" Colorbox : Kinky Pinky 07. 05'38" Solar Plexus : Organic Machine 08. 04'24" Purple Lotus : Unlimited Resources 09. 02'18" Ziax : Subconciousness 10. 03'17" Pergamon : Blue Filter 11. 07'00" Mach : Syncrosonix CD 2 01. 05'55" Bypass Unit : Nanosphere Courier 02. 03'44" Hardcop : Insanity 03. 06'46" Colorbox : Grey Spook (Westside Mix) 04. 05'03" Paragon Of Virtue : No Evidence 05. 05'14" Psygone : Mentizm 06. 03'15" Man From Mantra : Nevertheless 07. 06'17" Solar Plexus : Assimilation 08. 04'26" Vectrolab : Tsunami 09. 05'25" Analog Pussy : Galactic Intercore 10. 11'05" Pergamon : Endorphin Review: CD with some very good songs!! Unfortunately it's mixed! When I've bought this CD I immediately thought " this is great stuff" but in the mean time I don't like mix-CD's anymore as much as 1 year ago!! But even now I still listen this CD pretty frequently!! (It's my favourite Mix-CD)!! Best tracks on CD1 are:1,2,3,4,6&8 on CD2 the best tracks are:1,2,3,4,5,9&10!! And specially the last song (CD2 nr.10) is awesome!! It's one of the best Psy-Trance songs I've ever heard!!! Bom Shankar
-
I Agree with Infected Max, very contrasted album!!! Some good songs and some bad... The best song is defintely Comsic Navigators with The First Tour!! That's what I call building up Goa!!! It builds and builds till it reach a climax after 7 minutes!!!! Other good song is Viper (aka Dino Psaras) and the well known remix of Oforia on the track of MWNN!!! Bad songs are 3,5 (=>really disappointed... Normally I like Hallucinogen-stuff!)&9!!
-
Bad compilation of distance (the worst of the whole collection)!! Only 2 good songs on it, but those 2 songs are really killers!! Tandu (Ofer...) shows us some pumping Goa-trance and Hallucinogen together with D. Trevor (Green Nuns) give us a strange but beautiful song with celtic instruments!! (specially the last part!!) The other songs are quite boring or they have a Breakbeat, so not good to dance!! Bom Shankar
-
The first CD is véry good!! The second is not as good... CD1 starts with a whirling track of Hallucinogen, this song is so insane!! It's always going faster and faster!! Great to dance!! Nr 2 is not good, nr3 is a good Miranda-song, typical here style, so very melodic!! nr4 is really hard, but I don't like it... The samples are just rediculous!! Song 5 is one of my former top-10 tracks!!! The remix of Land Of Freedom is not as good as the first one and... Yihaa, Psychopod shows us a piece of psychedelic music, really unreal!!!! The last song is rather .ñ

Records this is a good CD!! It's not the Boom-stuuf as usual altough it's pretty fast... (145-150 bpm) This American artist made some nice Psy-Trance songs, but it's more psychedelic as the usual psy-trance stuff!!! When I heared nr 8 the first time I even felt the spirit of Transwave, and that's the first time in a long time that an artist made that sound!! ))) Other good songs are:1,2,3,4,5&9!!! Bom Shankar

Specially on CD1!! But like always some pieces of the songs are gone... (Goaway of Power Source is only 3 minutes here ((() CD1 is good Goa and Psy-Trance, mostly from Israel... Best songs are nr1,2,3,5,7,8&9!! (=>On CD1 the CD says that nr 2 is Bypass Unit with Tunnel Flotation, but that's a mistake, that's Psygone with his greatest song!!) CD2 is a different style, it's all Scandinavian Goa with some good and some pretty bad songs!! Best songs are:1,2,4,8 And SURE nr 10!! (very good song!!) Bom Shankar

United World Of Dance - Psytrance Artist: United World Of Dance Title: Psytrance Label: Phonokol Date: 1999 Track listing: 01. 08'53" Astral Projection : Let There Be Light 02. 09'46" MFG : Shape The Future 03. 07'09" Phreaky : The Second Moon 04. 08'16" Oforia : Big Bang 05. 09'39" Xerox And Freeman : Gata Freak 06. 07'46" Astral Projection And MFG : The Sleeper Must Awake 07. 09'06" Power Source : Goaway 08. 05'56" Mystica : Orly's Remix 09. 06'30" Shidapu Feat Hyperion : Stay Strong Review: A new CD with once again the best Psy-Trance songs from Israel!! And like usual those songs are rather good... Very good songs to play on party's are surely nr1 (awesome song... One of the best of Astral projection) and nr.5!! A littlebit different is Power Source and Shidapu here... It are rather songs to touch your soul with beautiful melodies!! I think the song of Mystica does not belong here because that group sound pretty commercial!! I don't think I have to say that nr2,4&6 is also good... Only Phreaky is a little dissapointing here!!!Bom Shankar

And that style is pretty good, but when you hear 9 songs that are almost the same, it becomes rather boring... It's a pitty that he can't use other sounds... The best song is defintely Unstable!! Other good songs are: 1,4,7&8!! Bom Shankar

Altough we have some more good and happy morningtrance here!! Best song is once again Devil (just like on the first one) but this is the remix and it maybe is even better then the original!! Other good songs: 1,3,6,7,9 Bom Shankar

It's all very happy Nitzhonot (=morningmusic)!! The best song is definetely Duvdev And Shidapu!!! (I don't know why they have this name... they are the two guys of Infected Mushroom!!) Most other tracks are also very good... (except 1,7) So if you wanna dream when you're at home (or at a party...) buy this CD if you find it!!!! Bom Shankar

You still hear the influences of MFG, but it's all more to dance now... Really perfect Party-songs!!! all songs have some great melodies and that's maybe why this CD is so addicting... the melodies are pretty "catchy"... Altough it's dance-stuff it's also pretty psychedelic... So enjoy this one!! Best songs are:1,3,4,5,7,8,9!! Bom Shankar

It's all dancing stuff, but real HARD dancing stuff!!! You can't stand still when you listen to this one!! Ok... The last song is wonderful Ambient...But that's normal in Goa-land!! The best song is undoubtely "The Shaman"!! I love this one really hard... You're simply in a state of trance when you dance on that song!! Also very good are: 2,3,4,5&8!! And don't forget the cover of this CD!! ))) It's really funny and something else like normal...Bom Shankar
