  1. You are going too far in this nationalist-way of thinking. What is the value of mentioning "your country". If you would talk about Benelux or Western Europe for instance instead of Belgium... like I care, I dont have specific love for "my" country at all... This goa movement doesnt need borders. Once again, not 1 single croatian album was released is Suntrip, hence the "not mentioning". As this is about Suntrip, this is a logical thing. Sorry to say, but the music that changed the scene around 2010 in the Balkans was not Croatian... Simple as that. And the fact there was a 10 years Suntrip party/Festival in Croatia is cool, and I will never forget it... but that was 1 of the 12 Suntrip 10 years parties that happened. From Japan to Brasil, from the UK to Israel. Probably in your opinion I should have mentioned them all, right? I can assure you, Boom would have NEVER taken that part to broadcast in that documentary. You are overly picky and sensitive here I think
  2. Anoebis

    Goa kids

I dont have kids yet, but in my surrounding more and more people/friends have kids, even goa kids! One of my best friends has 4 kids, and is still going to parties a LOT! so it is combinable
  3. I only get your point now, it is the fact I dont mention the "country" Croatia, right? The reason I dont say it there is pretty logic... We have no albums of a Croatian artist at the moment ever released... All the others that I mentioned released albums with us. Of course I know Croatia has a vivid scene, but here I was only talking about music & Suntrip! I didnt mention Spain either while Connection is the festival with the biggest goa line up... I dont believe in borders anyway, thats why I prefer to talk about "Balkan", which is a large region So dont ever take this personal
  4. It IS biased, as this is a Suntrip special of Boom festival, they used only the Suntrip names... but I clearly mentioned the Balkan as the home of the new goa movement...
  5. I mentioned tons of them, but as they decided to make a Suntrip special, they left out all the others that were mentioned, the interview they did was around 1 hour, and only VERY small parts were used...
  6. A very nice video of Boom Festival about Suntrip, the resurection of goa-trance, my project and the Balkan Goa Scene!
  7. I am sure we bought our first cds in the same shop! Virgin mega store... in de Keyserlei! Technossomy, Green Nuns, Jaia, MWNN, Astral, you name it... Around 98/99 And after that, Taboo Records with goa ONLY! Yes, thats how to start an addiction
  8. No doubt... Tommy is Dead... Listen to the whole story! old time favourite
  9. Well, I know we released the album, but even then... This album is a fantastic piece of art! I cant remember I last listened to a Suntrip cd so much, mostly after compiling it, I'm tired of it for a while... in this case I keep coming back, over and over and over again! The tracks are psychedelic, raw, crazy... A lot that was missing in modern goa trance! And they do wonders on the dancefloor! Boiling acid like the Green Nuns, with an industrial edge like Tim Schuldt, but with the melodies like Pleiadians! Top 5 Suntrip cds ever for me... And it seems like discogs has the same disease: 5/5 after 16 votes, I didnt see that yet... Favourites, 1-2-4-5-8
  10. he was active in the early years of goa with a fantastic EP on Intastella... Gods of Noise under Judson J Eiloart alter ego... The album you are talking about was ok, but nothing special imo...
  11. Hello - here we are with ALL possible Suntrip updates! First we would like to thank you very much for all the nice words we received for the wondrous Morphic Resonance release! Please don't forget to support the artist. The release is available in a number of stores: The Suntrip Shop - Bandcamp - Psyshop - Goastore - Beatspace ...and every digital distributor too (iTunes, Play, Amazon, Beatport, Spotify....) The Goa Trance Overview by Suntrip Records Did you ever wonder how the sales are of goa-labels? How much is digital, how much cd? Is the cd really dying? Are labels struggling? Suntrip Records opens all his official sales for the public... Have a look & share! http://www.suntriprecords.com/media/reports/2016-05_Goa_Trance_Overview/ The Boom Tickets Following the -legitimate- reduciton int he number of sold tickets (from 60000+ in 2014 to 33333 this year) for security and manageability reasons, the Boom was basically sold out before the end of 2015. Belgium is a small country with a big Goa fans base and unfortunately, we only had 40 tickets. A nightmare to explain that to hundreds of frustrated people. We are going to receive extra tickets but our waiting list is already so long that we're sure they're already all gone... The Boom Lineup Boom has decided not to disclose their lineup prior to the start of the festival, but we can announce who is going to play at Suntrip: Crossing Mind (Live act with live tablet-based soft-synth tweaking) Filteria (Live act with live synth tweaking) Anoebis (DJ set) Oh and I'll put an end to a 19 year old curse and will manage be there too. Don't hesitate to come and say hello. And what are our future plans ? I just realized we hadn't communicated over the releases of 2016. Certainly because we were pretty depressed after the terrorist attacks... But you should really know, it's utterly exciting ! June 2016 : "XXXX - Live at Suntrip 10th Birthday, April 2014" We are working on a yet-secret digital-only release with one artist, on a "Name your price basis". It will be a recorded live-act for the core fans wanting to hear how an artist edits his tracks prior to a live act, and there will be a couple of beta versions of yet-unreleased tracks too !!! September 2016: "Crossing Mind - Duality" Stéphane is going to play at the Boom Festival and he's currently polishing again and again a collection of his new tracks ! And we'll release all of them just after!!! Be repapred for some serious psychedelia. October/November 2016: "RA - Earthcall" YES, the album title is now chosen, and Ivan 'Richpa' Paric is working on the artwork. AT LAST, RA is going to relase his long awaited 4th album, and it will probably be the last one, and obviously a future instant-classic End 2016 / Early 2017: Imba - "First Encounter", Mindsphere - "Seclusion", Merr0w - "Fractal Octopus", K.O.B. - "Kind Of Behaviour" ? We have at least 4 releases more or less complete and we're yet unable to tell which one is going to be completely ready first. Imba seems the most advanced at the moment, but Mindsphere's downtempo opus is also pretty much ready. Besides, Merr0w has a storng album base already, and K.O.B. (Filteria's side project) has delivered us a groovy >1-hour promo. 2017-2018 There will certainly be a new Compilation, the last part of Mindsphere's Mental Triplex, and I can already tell there's a LOT activity in Kumanovo/Macedonia, if you see what I mean... For those who have been reading us for a long time, there's also an Ethereal album on the shelves, the guys are taking their time, let's be patient... Have a sunny week-end !
  12. So, did you ever wonder how the sales are of goa-labels? How much is digital, how much cd? Is the cd really dying? Are labels struggling? For the first time ever, a label opens all his official sales for the public... Have a look! http://www.suntriprecords.com/media/reports/2016-05_Goa_Trance_Overview/
  13. Thanks for all the super reviews, please add them also in the review section, so people can still read it in 10 years

  16. Ux and Moonweed is back... not too many copies (always limited to bring cds in my luggage from israel)
  17. Probably the most wanted album within the goa-scene of the year is now finally available! Spanish magician Christian Fernandez, aka Morphic Resonance is now ready to kick your ass! The perfect description? A mix between UX, Pleiadians & Green Nuns! smile-emoticon Buy the cd now and enjoy the madness!!! smile-emoticon Here is the bandcamp link as well! (but if you can, please directly via our store, better profit range... https://suntriprecords.bandcamp.com/album/morphic-resonance-the-city-of-moons
  18. Have fun!!! http://www.suntriprecords.com/product/item/SUNCD41/ Tonight on bandcamp etc... (also UX wil be available tonight)
  19. ok, so tomorrow we will start the circus! By the evening it will be available on the suntrip shop, bandcamp and discogs! Ah yes, and we have some UX-es as well
  20. I have both albums original after a long search, and I do play their music very regularely in my night sets, amazing rough dirty acid-trance sounds!!! love it
  21. I had to play on several parties in Israel last weekend, that is why... I brought the cds, but they will only be sold after wednesday, by then it will be available on every typical Suntrip channel
  22. Just wondering, what do you mean with that? Last 5 releases were all so different... Toi Doi, Morphic, Mindsphere, Denshi Danshi, Aurora... So i'm wondering what that means... We focus on all stuff with the label so i'm very surprised to read we are formulaic, and i'm wondering how people see this
  23. I will upload new samples on soundcloud tomorrow! Around 4 minutes each... only 10 more days! As for the mastering... I think this cd is mastered the right way... Tim Schuldt knows better then anyone here how to master harsh, screaming industrial influenced music imo... of course people can dislike it, each their own, but we, and the artist are happy... Of course some will prefer "party-volume" others "listening-pleasure" but you can't satisfy all completely. I just hope you all love the music
