Goa is over 20 years old in the mean time. Time to have a retrodelic look! For this I dug in my huge cd & vinyl collection and decided to make a mix for every year for the period 1994-2015 to show the "new" generation of goa people how goa-trance evolved, and never really died This seventh mix is about 1998, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (no lap top mixing involved!). Like usual, a serious challenge! All styles are captured in 1 mix... Hopefully it sounds like a good story! The next mix will be about 1999! Thanks Federico, you probably have the last hand painted in good quality... on Connection this year at least 5 died Mine was brown afterwards... So we are sure now, if we ever make hand painted t shirts again they will be on black t shirts, even if that means less fluoro... As for Toi Doi, you know how it will be as for Boom... Any DAT-artists coming?

Some tracks are similar, some totally different... he has many different "styles", what makes him an amazing artist! Anyway, samples coming soon

The best tracks of it will be featured in superb quality on this cd, and some other, total unreleased - never heard before tracks Right now we are finalising Mindsphere by the way, and oh my God... So many mediocre melodic releases out there... But he!? He knows how to make heart touching, hair rising melodies, whaaa!

Hello Suntrip is not only about shiny new CDs every other month, we're also striving to expand our goa vision to places where no psytrance has gone before And that means more partnerships, more merchandising, more promos listening, more travelling, and unfortunately, more paperwork... all this dragged us behing in terms of schedules, and I can tell there will be no more release in 2015. But wait, that's for the greater good: - In case you haven't seen, we have opened our Instagram account (search suntriprecords) that we first tested at the Connection festival, and a bunch of nice people have volunteered to help us with Youtube, Facebook, keeping up with everyone's parties, etc... and we might reveal some big news soon too. - New Merchandising is coming very soon: new tshirts, hoodies, superb laptop sticker lids, just in time for christmas gifts - Another important info, we'll be proud to be Boom festival Ambassadors for the third time for the 2016 edition. Guess what? Crossing Mind (FR) and Aneobis (BE) will be playing there in front of 33333 people !!! - Still craving for some awesome Goa-Trance before christmas ? OK go and buy IFO @ DAT Records (out Dec 4th), this is simply the reissue of the best Goatrance album of all times...and Mind Rewind 3 is coming in the next weeks too. Now the forthcoming releases: There were quite un bunch of twists and turns about the RA album. 2015 or not ? A few months ago I wrote we were fairly certain it would happen in 2015. Alas, that won't be the case. Long story short, it's progressing, but very slowly and you'll have to wait a little more to see the RA uptempo trilogy complete Richpa/Neogoa is working on the artwork. In the meantime, we've got a tracklist from Mindsphere and Ali is pushing his latest touches to his new album. The artwork is being done by the Mimesis Crew from Spain, and we're pretty sure this is going to be our next release, in the very first weeks of 2016. Hint: this album may have a couple of sequels Very soon too, we'll be releasing a ToïDoï album in collaboration with DAT records. Once again, long story short, Federico from DAT was so busy that his ToïDoï album project was running late. He agreed that we take over. We had several discussions with Gilles ToïDoï on the phone in the past weeks, we proposed him a contract and it's all looking good Expect "Psychedelic Home"-like madness !!! Oh I feel very inspired to do the artwork of this one. Crossing Mind is about ready and we HAVE to release his new 2xCD opus before Boom of course Morphic Resonance nearing album completion too ! Imba as well ! Merr0w as well !! not mentioning Cosmic Dimension just sent us 2,5 hours music... and I'm hearing about K.O.B. regularly and we're also collecting great compilation material and there will be a couple of surprises too... ...beyond the question whether it's doable or not, is it even sane to release so much great music in just one year ??? We'll see

Arronax for sure, Proxeuus from the Neogoa side... From Suntrip the first part of the Aurora Sidera compilation for sure, some tracks on Temple of Chaos (you have it I guess?) and check the second part of the Denshi Danshi album as well... Also check out the Aurax tracks on Anjuna! Also, Rabbit on Purple track on the Lost Theory 3cd is amazing in that style... And I have some updates I can share... We will release a new Toi Doi album with all his old unreleased total twisted tracks from the 90s! This fits totally in this category... Else, Morphic Resonance if already over halfway with his album! Also, a mini-album with Rabbit on Purple is coming as well... So, we finally have the right artists to have a more broad type of releases! As for the type of melodic tracks you asked, that is highly personal I noticed... why is a melody amazing for someone and "regular" for someone else... hard to explain

Zirrex had a 2CD... And one of the tracks is called Tadarinda but it sounds like Tandavista... you never know?

For sure, Zion is doing really good! Well, Bandcamp has far better profit rates for artists & labels... if you buy directly there, you help us a lot more! (as for Suntrip, our own shop is the best of course). For people who want to order past Zion604 cds, they are also in stock with Suntrip now, so you don't have to worry about post! Even more funny, the track he REALLY likes is one of 3 that was made last few months... All the rest is pure 90s analog unreleased stuff as most know I guess Ah well, my favourites are for sure Mariposa Remix, the Ladder, Maelstrom & Make Make Great pure analog acid madness They rip every dancefloor over and over again I loved their sound in the 90s, it was even one of my favourites so I was glad we could do this project! And I am more then happy about the result. I think lately it's clear we have a more various/versatile release-catalogue, more acid & crazy stuff between the more morning stuff...

It is true... We need more reviewers... Only Trance2moveU is doing good at the moment, and here and there another good review... But not many. I think honestly all psynewsers should simply write more quick notes about reviews, impressions, favourite tracks etc... Now it feels you have to write a HUGE review, which is not the case of course...This will also make a cd more objectively reviewed.. 1 impression is only 1 of course, the more the better!

Well, there is also a chance we will release some of his future stuff... Some is really good, some is not there yet... As usual, we have time I second Born Underwater would be cool

Woow, I had 48 messages untill now... (where are all of you when there is a new cd with old school trance released today tongue-emoticon ) Unfortunately about 70% of the lists are EXACTLY the same. Doof, Pleiadians, Cosmosis, Technossomy, Prana, BPC etc... So, this means many many will be dissapointed... As said, I prefer Belgians and bigger packs for sending instead of sending 40 packs with 2 vinyls (it will take me an eternity as I dont have vinyl shipping stuff) I will make a list tonight of who has what, and weird enough, half of the stuff is still there...

Actually, I know 2 very serious guys are working on re-releasing some of the "unknown" goodies from the old days... so more to come for sure! And we will release some oldie goodies from Toi Doi pretty soon...

The sun is shining! And its a beautiful day for goa-trance lovers Read on... As said before, I will give away a whole bunch of music/vinyls! Around 100 vinyls to be precise! Why do I give them away for free? Because this was a gift from Stephane. His idea was to spread the music instead of letting the vinyls rot in his basement. I took out all the vinyls I wanted/that had unique tracks and the rest I already have, so I give them away! It's very simple - I give everyone the chance to get vinyls. So please, give me your 10 (!!!!) favourite EPs/vinyls via personal message. I will see which I can give afterwards. I prefer Belgian people because shipping is hard (I dont have vinyl boxes to ship) but well, I realise there are hardcore collectors abroad as well, so I will ship some to far away countries for sure anyway!
