the afterparty will start monday for sure, as they asked me to play there as well. i will play monday afternoon old school Belgian club/emo/euro-trance back to the past! another psynewser (without internet at the moment) who will be there as well is Robbelaar, and imba of course and some other artists

Sad news from Holland this time: Matt Boom, he died in his sleep last week. Boom! Records was one of the more obscure labels, with a focus on early forest-trance... I loved them and played as a label dj for them for 2 years around 2000, so it's sad for me to hear... :s

Artists chose the covers of their albums..., I'm sure they have a good reason for this, I'll ask them but the music is what matters in the end, and believe me, it is tasty for everyone who likes genuine 303s!

The next Suntrip release will be a release by a true legend: Denshi Danshi. A group known for its acidic twisted music in the 90s, and one of the big names of Pof Records! After a decade of silence they gathered their old files again and made an album out of it... 80% old tracks and 2 new ones... And the result? Madness! Here is the tracklist! For me, the tempo... And the fact the bassline is "overpowering" the rest of the sounds... the agressive factor is there, instead in the psychedelic sounds messing with your head... Probably thats why I like so much forest, the bass is more organic and the tempo reasonable

Actually they filmed the day-dancing scene during my set on Lost Theory last year... People that were there were aware of what was happening And in the movie (and in the movie theaters!!) Cosmic Dimensions remix of Ra is full power! Also Electrypnose has a track in the movie (downtempo). Also, the movie was not that much under the radar, it was it news, in talkshows etc... I didn't see it yet, but I know the plot... its about a typical old grumpy bus driver who will almost stop for his pension, and his last job is bringing hippies to Lost Theory. Of course he discovers his "lost" son is there... etc etc...

I'm just talking about promos... Some/often they are SO amateurish, you can hear it in 10 seconds, believe me... All the others will be listened completely, and that takes a LOT of time

When I'm behind my pc mostly... but also, often way ahead... All the promos I get is often fast listening, you hear within 10 seconds if it is decent or not
