My opinion after 2 days listening non stop: I agree the mastering is too harsh/loud. Except of that, for the music... I have been listening a lot last week, and this is my "final" result: X-Dream - Rain : ok, nothing special. 6/10 TIP - Stimulit : good. 7/10 BPC - Overbloody Flood : worst of the album. 4/10 TIP - Feeling Weird : really good (except that robot sample in the climax). 8/10 prana - Mugen : Amazing 10/10 LSD : Amazing as well 9.5/10 Rain : very good as well 9/10 Midian : very good, except the bass kicks in at a VERY weird moment in the break? 8.5/10 Overall, really good enough to be satisfied, but the first 3 tracks are mediocre. Still I am happy goa is back, the goa way

+1, interesting!

I wasn't judging him, everyone has to do what they like, but I was wondering, would it appeal you, would you like to see that from a live-act/dj. For me, that behaviour would be a big minus, even if the music was good... just a personal opinion without judging the dude, if he feels like it, keep on going strong
-
With that is nothing wrong, but, a "live act" or an "act" that presses play and is jumping in FRONT of the stage... naaah, I can't stand that. Even if I would love the music, I would go into my own world so I wouldn't have to see it... I think an artist should "at least" bring a midi controller and try to add some stuff live, the more the better... A dj can't do what you see on the video anyway. I agree there has to be contact with the public tho... Not sure it has to be that way...
-
I never undestood this kind of stuff... BUT, more important, people go crazy about it. So I am wondering, imagine you were there (and you liked the music) would you like that kind of artist behaviour or not? https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=903742642983444

Looking for tracks like Xerox & Freeman - Bees (live mix)
Anoebis replied to radi6404's topic in General Psytrance
This track is in the same vein/style I thought it was their best track -
It means God decided you'll have to order that cd in the Suntrip store, héhé

How does psytrance music explore the notion of Space?
Anoebis replied to spoke's topic in General Psytrance
Deep Space 5D from Dimension 5 => That is pure SPACE trance for me And if you are into ambient... Steve Roach, that is the first I would think about when I hear "space music" -
Nope... Undiscovered land for Suntrip it seems... Although the amount of orders are rising from there for sure! Hopefully one day, but the flight costs are probably the main issue...

Amazing cd!!! The released tracks from before are all killers and Spiritual Odyssey and Children of the Stones are amazing. The latter is the best track of the year imo Where are the reviews? Also, of Shakta no reviews yet, come on psynewsers

i'm wondering where you will find a place to discuss MWNN & Boris Blenn

I saw them last night... playing next to Transwave, X-Dream & The Muses Rapt... And all I can say, they kicked the shit out of the others... I would even say: Deedrah: you are a BIG loser, go home. (he was totally wasted, fucking up every mix, turning knobs without realising what he was doing... And after 5 old tracks he turned into CRAP full on...What a SHAME!) Anyway, Astral are the kings, still... Even today!!! Here some words from the remixes: X-Dream - Rain => Sounded pretty much like the original, good, but not special TIP - Stimuli => Very good, overused sample, but except of that GREAT BPC - Overbloody Flood => mediocre, the worst of their new remixes, machinegun bass and well, not too good Feeling Weird & Mugen => We know... And let me say this again: MUGEN IS PROBABLY THEIR BEST TRACK EVER! It moves me to tears every time... it has all! Power, floatiness, fantastic sounds and the heaven that opens!! LSD => AMAZING! Probably the same level as Mugen, what psychedelic power! this will be thé nr 1 killer, watch my words Midian => AMAZING too, more floaty, but deep and beautiful woven! Conclusion: it will be SUPER good, not all of them, but the best tracks are SO good we will all be drooling, I swear:)

Woow, what a great post. I will forward it to the artists that are involved! Of course I agree... and I would indeed add Mindsphere and Khetzal for sure Nebula Meltdown is super talented too... more subtle in a way
-
I will see them this weekend, curious about the remixes in full quality! As for the mix cd, well, it shows they are active again! (but this seems like another best of compilation... I think we know all those tracks by now, héhé )
-
Oh yes, one of my old favourites... I still listen to his debut a lot! That was original and twisted psy Trance...
-
Thanks guys! It was fun for sure, a small Psynews Gathering in the middle of the UK!!! It was a great event musicalwise for sure... loved it! see you next time!!!
-
I disliked it with a passion... Empty, and the fillings that were there, were used over and over again. I remember someone that proved one of his tracks had exact the same melody as another track, simply backwards. The rest of the structures were the same too... Too much copy/paste that means...
-
Hey Antic, you should have had your cd by now, the bug the first day (a paypal problem) was solved within 1 day For the others, here is a LONG Suntrip interview... have fun! http://goatrance.hu/en/suntrip-10-interview/
