Did you ever bought the cd or downloads at full quality? I never saw you buying them... As for Skarma, he kicks ass big time, his melodic feeling is great imo. This weekend I was playing in Switzerland, and I was playing Hyphneone from him (on Hado Records) and Elad Afgin came immediately, this sounds like Astral in the good days, who is this? As for other good new goa that is like old school: none. You are searching for something that does not exist. Or you are open minded and try new goa, or you better stay in the old school scene

Goasia - Amphibians From Spacedock (SUNCD33)
Anoebis replied to Anoebis's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Ok, that's new for me too... Didn't know that... but in the future, if you don't care where to order, please use bandcamp or suntrip, we get only 60% income of a "normal" sale on that site. As for the music, well, it is indeed folky Goasia style for sure I can imagine some don't really like it, but for them we have Shakta coming up (and some more, I will post here tomorrow which ones ) -

Goasia - Amphibians From Spacedock (SUNCD33)

Well, artist albums are different compared to compilations... As for Sundance, it was for Kanc & Balint a MUST to release it on the album, as it is one of their best tracks. For an album 1 track which was released somewhere is not a problem, if it makes the whole better... And it does As for the cover, the artist choses what he wants of course, and he was happy with what he wanted (with lots of good feedback on fb...) -
The new Goasia album is almost there!! And all the samples are now online!!!!! Have a listen, and drool... only 2 more weeks! https://soundcloud.com/goasia/sets/goasia-ampibians-on-spacedock Release Date : Sep 18, 2014 Total time : 72:26 Style : Melodic Goa Trance Mastering : Tim Schuldt @ 4CN Studios, Germany Artwork : Artwork by: Ivan Parić (Richpa) at Neogoa Design, Croatia (https://www.facebook.com/neogoadesign) and Goran and Dejan Mrganić at Adamantite Studios, Serbia (https://www.facebook.com/AdamantiteStudios). Cat no : SUNCD33 Barcode : 5 060376 220865 Format : CD Copies pressed : 700 Goasia is a versatile and widely appreciated Serbo-Croatian duo who spreads powerful vibes all around the world. Amphibians On Spacedock is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Dancing With The Blue Spirit (Kagdila) and From Other Spaces (Suntrip). With its inimitable style mixing powerful banging sequences with subtly melodic breaks and flawless production, Goasia will send you to space once again! The album starts with God, Good Morning a superb composition with a shamanic intro and explosive morning melodies all over the place. Amphibians On Spacedock is another morning tune with bouncing acidic sequences, immediately followed by The New Orient, a crazy uplifting killer full of eastern melodies. Mental Mutator is a mysterious track that gives you a little time to breathe before Dolphins Of Jupiter kicks in and radiates through your body with its avalanche of melodies! Promised Land follows up on the same note, achieving a fantastic mix of energetic and morning layers! Still standing? OK, Sundance and Orbital Saturation are there to drain your last forces, the former being more mysterious, while the later revisits the eastern style in a twirling and insanely trippy way!!! Lastly, Tetrodotoxin closes the album with a darker mental banging style. With this new album, Goasia has reached a new level, and we hope you’ll enjoy it, hoping like an amphibian on the spacedock of your fantasies!

Well, during Contact and Indepence Day, you'll find TONS of samples, allover the movie not the best movies tho
-
great music with a lot of positive, sometimes even close to nitzhogoa melodies! People that like Goalien and the more euphoric goa-trance, check this out for sure! Very talented!
-
You are right Imba, that is the plan at least let's see what happens in the end! Exit Eternity is my favourite of him, in my top 10 tracks ever
-
No doubt for me... Hunab Ku - Children of the Stones Soon to be released on Amakusa! As for listening, in Namibia we were listening to a lot of epic trance in our jeep... This track was probably the most special one When I hear it I see crazy things in my head
-
The best forest trance for sure, last year on Lost Theory he was super good (although the sound was muddy) now it sounds more mature and super psychedelic! This is the new kind of forest that is nice for in the night on festivals imo
-
It will come, don't worry We are getting more and more promos/goa in this direction as well... more variety coming up! The Shakta album at the end of oct will be in this vein for sure already... (although for me, a wonderful melody will always be the best thing in goa-trance music... Sometimes I want madness and acid and darkness, but a superb melody will always give me goosebumps, even in 20 years) But it is always like this, people begging for goa, they get goa, then they want different goa/darker goa, and when there is too much darker, they want bright again etc... the best is to have many kinds on different labels imo anyway but Anjuna is clearly on the darker path
-
@Elysium: cool He is indeed producing, but he is really freestyle, not only doing goa... but he will do more goa stuff in the future he said, so we are waiting
-
Some newcomer do produce this as well... Have a listen Slower, more deep music, with a fantastic melody in the second part And another slower, deep beautiful track, you will probably like
-
Because of this topic I realised again how talented Christian is!! Damn, can't wait for his full album, it will still take time... but it will kick ass (for the ones on Goa Balkan fanatics festival... his Sun Project - Space Dwarfs rmx, oh my god... The ACID!!!)
-
Thanks for the review At the moment he is working on more progressive like Ovnimoon... Hopefully he will return to darker goa, one day... otherwise, wait for the new generation, enough acidic newcomers

Ephedra will release an album soon And Morphic Resonance is working on one, but that can still take a while... But it is pure acid madness... This guy is a lunatic, héhé
-
@Neogoa, you are right, kudos for that... It is true you are a very good start for many artists... As for Artha, is there any plan to release his old stuff from the late 90s? It was available for free here on psynews years ago, and it was awesome, much better then his modern style imo... lots of no-nonsense spirals & crazyness... Other mentioned names that have a bright future indeed are JIS (he is also a very good dj) and Lunar Dawn... And how could I forget about Skarma, I adore his style... in kroatia he played at 7 in the morning and everybody went CRAZY! Amazing harmonic sound with perfect melodies, the old style
-
Paul Eye, you are right... Morphic Resonance blew me away last weekend as well... AMAZING music, pure acid madness... you'll hear more of him in the near future... and Blackstarfinale has a lot of potential too...
-
Instead of always re-bringing the fail of many old school legends, it is maybe more constructive and interesting to say which artists have a big future in the (goa)-trance scene in your opinion! And which new artists touched you the most! And from who you still expect a lot! In my case, it is a pretty hard question, as I have the feeling there is a LOT of talent floating around! From the last Goa Balkan Festival...There is 1 thing very obvious for me. The Kumanovo tribe has a great future! Cosmic Dimension, Celestial Intelligence (wait for their debut, it will KICK ass) and Sirius are all from the same small city in macedonia... I don't know what food they have, but it's damn good! Others living very close with Great music are Imba & Coagoa... In israel, the biggest talent for me at the moment is Cymatics without any doubt, all the latest stuff of him is fantastic imo Else, I am waiting for the big breakthrough of Crossing Mind. He is a genious, but not active on fb and twitter etc, that is probably one of the reasons, a pitty talent alone is not enough to be booked on bigger events... Ah well, curious to hear your stories anyway!!
