  1. Well, there is a very interesting shift lately... As you know we are organising a ten years Suntrip goa tour, and we have had many organisations out of non typical goa countries, who are willing to step into the project...! This means these organisations believe to have break even at least with only modern goa trance!! This is the true revolution imo... ok, they still prefer the big names (Filteria, E-Mantra, Ra, Khetzal,...) but that's logic in the end as they need enough people... For now we have parties planned with only goa-trance in: Germany, UK (!!), Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Japan, Brasil, Spain, Croatia and probably also Macedonia and Israel)! This is crazy, don't you think? So this means a broader/wider crowd is willing to listen to goa trance for real now! The more people here it, the more they will search for it, and the bigger the movement becomes! On all the other points I will react in a few days... Finally vacation
  2. If you need someone to spread them in Belgium, you know where to find me! (and maybe you can sell me some for the Suntrip shop so you get some money for them at least?)
  3. Our fellow Suntrip Records strar Artifact303 placed some of his older tracks from the VA - Organic Visions for download! The tracks are remastered and downloadable for free from following link: https://soundcloud.com/artifact303/sets/organic-vision-vol-1 Enjoy! As the Ancestors is one of my favourite acid trance tracks ever... ;-)
  4. Very interesting insights and input! Psynews is still the most adult forum out there
  5. Fripic Bounce - Inflated Troll on this cd: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Psionic-Sounds/release/215296 And damn, that party was a long time ago
  6. Very interesting... Can you tell more? This kind of info is super interesting! What genres sold the best? How much % of the sales were digital? Thanks for this interesting feedback!
  7. Good question. I do Suntrip parties, but they are not really connected with Suntrip as my partner in crime is not linked with them directly. I do them with other persons. So if they are bringing in any money, it goes into another "company". Also, the 10 years Suntrip tour is pure to promote goa trance. Not 1 cent of that goes into our pocket. If an organiser takes the risk for a Suntrip party, they "earn" the profit if they make it! We do bookings for our artists and promote events, but we do this for free... Fixing bookings for our artists is their benefit. Their payment for their hard work So, no secundary income. @Radi: I don't see the problem. You can buy our full albums on the website as a download, and for seperate track you can go to our bandcamp. Only a few clicks away. I don't see the problem... is this me?
  8. @ Radi: if you buy directly from the Suntrip shop, you support us as much as when you buy a cd... but as you see, digital sales are only marginal.
  9. Ok, I had to do this for a long time... And here is the result after a few weeks of work... We, at Suntrip, took all the info, sales and data we could find, and made graphics out of it! As far as I know this is the first time a label does this... You can see how sales are influenced by the digital revolution, how the total sales are, income/outcome etc... A lot to read, but I'm sure this is interesting for many of you!!! Scroll down... The next post is what we wrote, or download/View here http://www.suntriprecords.com/media/misc/The_future_of_Goa-trance_vs_the_music_industry.pdf
  10. Actually, the E-Mantra downtempo Hermit Sanctuary was one of the biggest surprises as well for me... Haunting, darkish and sensitive ambient, much better than his previous albums imo ps: Oxycanta III was a NEGATIVE surprise, damn, that wasn't clear in my topic... Really dissapointing! (and CC was expected, so not really a surprise) so my top 3 surprises: - Ovnimoon - Transmutation of the Mind - The Call of Goa (mostly new names but still kick ass!) - E-Mantra - Hermit Sanctuary (brought himself onto the next level!)
  11. Ovnimoon latest, which is GREAT melodic progressive with goa hints... Except of that, Tribal Encore, the Aurax tracks are yummi yummi yummi Call of Goa had great tracks too Crop Circles and Oxycanta 3
  12. Unfortunately, Electrypnoses studio burned down a few days ago... As I think he managed to please a lot of the psychedelic lovers with his proggie, hi-tech, ambient & forest trance, some help would be very much appreciated! http://www.electrypnose.com/E7_fire.php
  13. 98 rmx, superb track one of those few tracks that has a better remix than the original
  14. Because the topics about this album are scattered on the forum, I simply made a new one Filteria needs no introduction…The king of climaxes, who destroyed the dancefloors all over the world on festivals such as Boom, Antaris, Ozora or SUN is back with his fourth album, called “Lost In The Wild” on his homelabel Suntrip Records! After his previous album in 2009, Jannis Tzikas kept on searching new original ideas and border-breaking sounds. The result? Another wicked masterpiece! His trademarks; fat climaxes and crazy melodies, are now combined with even more psychedelic effects, acidic sounds and stronger powerful rhythm-sections! Once again the master has broken all barriers with “Lost in the Wild” : 8 mindblowing dancefloor stormers with a story… In the beginning more deep and slow with trancending melodies, building towards plain sci-ci acidic madness in the middle and the end of the album! The bonus track is a gift to the people who heard Filteria play "Birds" live 1. Filteroid (Day @ 2AM) 2. Dog Days Bliss (Album Edit) 3. Food Demon's (Demon's Head Rmx) 4. Life Never Sleeps 5. Lost in the Wild 6. 36th February 7. The Lights of Shibuya 8. Night @ 12PM Bonus Track 9. Birds Lingua Franca (Live Rmx) This album is a landmark for all !!!! So, press play, we’re sure the party will take place both in your head and your body! For samples http://www.suntriprecords.com/release/cat/SUNCD30/ And if you want to stay updated about the release news: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Suntrip-Records/205061476205185?fref=ts http://www.filteria.com
  15. I'll keep them side for you And yes, Stork, Pigeon, better and less expensive as Belgian post!
  16. haha Stork would be awesome!! (and don't wait for 9 cds... By then we are bankrupt... )
  17. haha, ok... Some people start to realise how the Belgian post works... They rip you off Well, the best way to buy cds is like this: - 1 cd = 3€ shipping (Eur), 3.6€ (world) (and this is only because we send them as <100 gram, while actually they are 101-102 grams) - 2 cds = 6.5€ shipping (eur), 7.2€ (world), and yes, the same rates apply for 3 cds, because 100-350 grams have the same postage fee... So in conclusion: it is better to buy 3 cds at once (2€ postage per cd). For 1 or 2 cds the difference is minor, its in both cases 3€. Actually the best is to buy 9 cds (= 12.9€ for eur), but ok, you all have most of the cds I guess, héhé Anyway, don't worry, we won't be out of Nebula Meltdown in 1 month, so you can order both albums at once in nov! ps: Cosmic Dimension will be released nov 22 (and after that E-Mantra and Ra will follow... moehahahha)
  18. Digitally available too now on the Suntrip shop and soon on the other shops
