  1. No idea how to make the picture clear... but this is my collection 1 year ago... I should make new shelves and a new corner soon I think as it will burst soon https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151118713006776&l=c48c054c44
  2. well, funny that you mention this... Actually I was working on a very authistic thing this weekend... I took all sales from Suntrip... Arabesque and since 2008 Suntrip shop, Bandcamp, Recordunion & discogs and I am looking if sales really went down, or the CDs were simply replaced by digital media... One thing is sure, cds sell less and less, but they are not dead (yet) I hope to present the final result tonight or tomorrow, now I want to put all in graphics to show how the crisis evolute last few years... and some of the results are surprising! One thing is sure, if you want to release a release, and you want some decent feedback/spread... you need a serious business plan...
  3. The first samples for the new Filteria-album "Lost in the wild" are available!! The samples for tracks 1-5 are now available on: http://www.suntriprecords.com/release/cat/SUNCD30/ Tomorrow we present you the samples for the second part... (including a remix of a well known track as a bonus!) And if you are on our site anyway, don't forget to check out the Nebula Meltdown samples as well! It will be released in only a week Happy listening!
  4. Isn't internet great... I wasn't here for 2 days, on other forums I told everyone to come here cause here it is really about the music... And then you read all this shit! Aaah, people Don't take internet too serious... Make sure you love the music and concentrate on that, if you don't get along with eachother... Ignore! (but well, I have to admit Radi was a pain in the ass, even for me... while the Swedish drunk guy (lol, the name is too hard to remember) did a BIG amount of usefull posts about music )
  5. You like your modern goa-trance more subtle, atmospheric and complex? Well, search no longer, the debut Nebula Meltdown-album is exactly what you need! Kristian Aro, a Finnish artist and dj who is active in the scene for over a decade already, is proud to present his debut album “Stardust Chronicles”! His style is unique for a “modern goa” artist. His music is more psy-trance influenced, spaced out and subtle acidic instead of typical melodic and euphoric! It will be released around the beginning of october! You want samples and info? Wait no longer: http://www.suntriprecords.com/release/cat/SUNCD29/ Tracklist: 1. One Eyed Reptile 2. A Higher Pathway 3. Psychic Beacon 4. Agape Sophia 5. Superluminal Connection 6. Stardust Chronicles 7. Mindstream Continuum 8. Alnitak Sunrise 9. Breakfast on the Balcony Enjoy the music! And in 6-7 Weeks we can blow you all away with the new Filteria album!! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Suntrip-Records/205061476205185
  6. I always tought Belgium and Holland were the trance-countries, while Germany was indeed more the real Techno-"heimat" (and goa too of course). I think Germans (I am half German as some may know, lived in Belgium forever tho) are so good in creating techno, because it is very strict music, made in a strict rhythm (the way the German society is more or less imo), combined with the fact people need to break out of that strict society through parties/dancing... Like that you have all to promote more party-music and more precisely, techno imo
  7. Dear goa and ambient lovers! Unfortunately the summer is over (in Europe at least ), which calls for a last reminder! I tried to capture the atmosphere I love so much during the summer... Carbon Based Lifeforms - Terpene (Ultimae Records) 2. Connect.Ohm - Snow Park (Ultimae Records) 3. Solar Fields - Air Song (Ultimae Records) 4. E-Mantra - Daydream (Altar Records) 5. 8. Let's make it a whole group... UX... Except for some Syb Unity Nettwerk tracks, I always thought the tracks are noisy and nothing special...
  9. Haha, no, I never touched any drugs at that time... not even alcohol, a cigarette or a joint (still not) But well, I noticed some flaws I was young, unexperienced and specially, looking for instant satisfaction I think, good climaxes and melodies, I prefer more subtle stuff now Don't forget most of those reviews are 12-14 years old...
  10. I agree with most (for sure Soluna and Psychonauts), but Witchcraft made Witchcraft magic as well, did you hear that one? For me it is even better than whale and Magic Frequencies...
  11. I liked, but by far not as much as Nasha... The 2nd cd is also simply his "best of", which are all great for sure... But I prefer them in an original setting
  12. Cool, thanks for the feedback! So far I managed to do updates every 2 days more or less, there is enough news luckely, and if there is no news its always easy to play a massive track from the catalogue But yeah, thanks for the ideas
  13. I was wondering, lately I am trying to make our Suntrip facebook group as active as possible https://www.facebook.com/pages/Suntrip-Records/205061476205185 But I was wondering, what would you people find interesting to see/read on such a fb page!? Please, react on following questions - How many updates? Every day 1, every week 1,...? - What to post? Pics, tracks, info of artists, promos, party info,...? - do you really read those fb groups?
  14. Good question, many artists have those hidden gems, but this one is beyond league but Shit, now I made one of my secret dj set tracks widely available
  15. Crystal too... Superb Overbloody Flood is one of my favourites too, eventhough it is simple... But sooo effective
  16. Check Out "Sandal Wood", what a fantastic track.... Second place Dream Creator for sure! If progressive would have ended more into that direction, I would have been a prog-head now
  17. Actually I ADORE Nasha... Superb album, Other Line, Jajo, Rain, Red Line are 100% blisfull pure goa-trance!! Other albums were mostly mediocre indeed, a pitty, as he had the talent for sure!!!
  18. For me: 1. X-Dream - Our Own Happiness 2. X-Dream - Do You Believe X-Dream - Electromagnetic (Radio) X-Dream - The Second room I love them all very much... X-Dreams work was always super nice imo because it was never overloaded, but still deep and trancy Way ahead of its time imo...
  19. The best and most open minded music documentary I have ever seen in my life, MUST see!!!
  20. Yes, Rebirth and Brainstorm as well
  21. Haha, I know the feeling... But on the other hand, it's great to have such a museum in your house with so much good music and memories! Also, the time of EXPENSIVE cds is looong gone, now only the VERY rare ones are really expensive, the others are often between 2-8€... If you can find a buyer...
  22. Orphée, what a total monster... 10/10, one of the best ever for me
  23. Some great tracks, with Blindsight as top top top-track! I don't know why exactly, but it goes straight into my deep emotions... I love it, sounds like a forgotten 90s gem I think
  24. When you talk about old EU, Paradise Connection has to be mentioned! Now THAT is an amazing album, pure emotions and feelings, transferred into music... I absolutely LOVE it
