Big fat update!! All that is in the first post, is now in stock -
Suntrip release schedule the next 6 months :)
Anoebis replied to Anoebis's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
They started to work on new stuff... Some sounded really good acid/melody wise, but still need a lot of work in the rhythm section (I guess you don't want a full on bass ) so this is not for tomorrow... but I guess it will happen one day as well I hope that day still has "cd" as a medium Expect more subtle music from him... No big climaxes and fat melodies allover the place, but rather subtle changes and details creating hypnotic tracks! -
He has loads of great ooold unreleased music lying around... it was often shared here on psynews, I even remember a live set once... I hope to see that released/shared again... great stuff

(SUNCD31) Jan/Feb: RA - ??? (SUNCD32)

It are the guys of Kopfuss Resonator, in some of their tracks there are strong acid lines as well... Although the KR music is mostly more heavy and leaning towards Acid-(psy)-techno
-
+1... AMAZING!!!! (and yes, true freedom, but identify is more intense/insane, while True Freedom is like thé definition of Acid Trance for me)

Hello To spice up the forum a little, a fun topic! Where did you go last summer and how long where you there, and did you like it there or not!? And if you have pics... Show them! For me, I went to some festivals (Freqs in Germany and Lost Theory in Croatia) but my big summer trip was to the Southeast of Asia... 2 weeks of Myanmar and 3 weeks of Malaysia Myanmar was amazing, the kindest people of the world in a very poor but cultural reach and beautiful country! Malaysia was amazing nature/jungle/snorkling wise, but except of that it was a western country... So for the people/atmosphere I preferred Myanmar, for the nature Malaysia in the end Still, my nr 1 travelling spot is Indonesia and Guatemala... but I think Myanmar will take the 3rd spot now (or Sri Lanka... Hard choices) For some pics: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10201752559634786.1073741828.1204921996&type=1&l=0ef5c2f458

True, different he was, and the way he was playing, fully concentrated on the music (sober!! as he woke up 20 min before his set, and he denied alcohol and joints during his set) was cool too... But the music... Too far for me... Sorry Robbert! I can only hope his set on Freqs was different! because during his set on LT I was thinking: this is not the music I fell in love with 15 years ago... And hey, don't worry, this is about taste @ Robbert: LT was great, far better then last year... Ask Proet Highlights: Goch, some forest djs, Derango, Procs, Ocelot, the old school night of course (altough Darshan was bad and Psychaos mediocre) and for some weird reason Ephedrix got me into his music surprisingly well! D5 was superb as well, playing around 9, more Second Phaze like stuff...

Hahaha!! You guys are the best!! Thanks! I had a sucky 31st birthday, but this brings more sunshine to that day afterall! *CHEESY GROUPHUG*

Hey Michael! Nice to meet you there As for the knobs, I was the only one on the stage during his live set... and I think the knobs were simply "channel A" and "channel B". He was constantly switching between both channels (one with the 190 BPM music, and the other channel mostly "different" music like 2 unlimited etc). But well, for me the music sounded so blatant/dull, I don't even know if the knobs did anything extra to be honest... I even started to read a book while "waiting" till my shift was over... Sais it all I guess
-
It's a matter of taste I guess... it were the 2 most terrible musical hours of my life... I was stage manager during his set so I had to listen to it... But it was thé hell for me... I still can't understand what that music has to do to with psy/goa trance... Really On topic; most mix a set indeed in ableton live and press play, that simple
-
Thanks for sharing Mergi... Cool to read... It is somehow weird, you manage to work "normal" as a human being, but somehow you feel something is always different, weird and wrong... lol... or you think different, or people are unlogic or they react much different as expected (all the time) or they simply make no sense in social behaviour... Aah I am happy I was on holidays for 1.5 month, because now we have to go down in this psycho world again, héhé

Go to Freqs of nature starting thursday, and you'll get to hear all kinds of psychedelic music... Pure goa (D5, E-Mantra, me, Ghost on Acid, Green Nuns Talpa,...), suomi, progressive, forest trance,... It will broaden your mind, and show you goa is not dead! (yet) And we are also working on a Suntrip party in Hamburg the 15th of february

Such a shame, no wonder neo goa artists are poor

Well, as Fabien sais, it's almost hard to browse the shop without seeing the mp3/FLAC option! As he was talking about seperate tracks, we don't offer those for download on our shop indeed, but we do on our bandcamp! So well, your choice -
Well, because aspies is definitaly within the ASS it was rather clear... I am "obsessed" with numbers and lists. As a small kid, 4-6 years old, I was only making weather graphics, i didn't care to play outside with friends And I did this for days and years... So it was rather clear immediately... Now, I am still busy with making the lists, Excel is by far my most used program on my pc, and as you know my music databass is totally defined by several lists with all imaginable info... Trying to make life logic that's typical Anyway, as said, I know how to react/act in social contexts. And for many people it is rather realistic I have asperger, but... that's also very asperger, you can't see it just like that, you need more knowhow before things become rather clear But as said, I prefer to see the good things, I have the feeling it rather helped my life (for sure being so rational instead of emotional) instead of making it impossible
-
Well, totally not, I'm a teacher... But my hobbies are connected to maths etc... And people think Asperger people can't function well socially... They CAN, they are not authistic in sé, they just "learn" to copy appropiate social behaviour... And I learned how to do that in front of a class... but for instance, I will never become angry in front of a class, or help a pupil who is crying because of some drama etc... And I feel uneasy in "new" social situations and big groups... I prefer 1 on 1 talks 100% more... So thats why I go to goa parties to dance, not to socialise... And this asperger-side of me is probably the reason why I am still old school goa freak after 15 years... I dislike changes with a passion So well, don't worry, if you see me I will act normal, as said, it's not typical autistic behaviour I can talk, laugh etc, I just have some weird sides, you'll only notice if you know me well
-
I have a form of asperger (high-level autism). Lots of positive sides, but on social behaviour negative as well (such as understanding emotions, empathy etc...)
-
It depends on my mood: For dancefloor full power: Trust in Trance For listening and floating morning stuff: Dancing galaxy If I had to chose one; Dancing Galaxy
-
MFG - Desert Sun Almost all Tim Schuldt tracks, his album is good, but his side projects are awesome Tim Schuldt - Return to the 2nd Earth Miranda tracks on Goa Vibes 3 under her alias Athena... Awesome, among the best Athena - Human Vox

Finally some artist that sounds like Astral Projection
Anoebis replied to radi6404's topic in General Psytrance
Nothing Astralish in those tracks!! I pick out any EU or MWNN track blindly because they have such a signature-sound! Yes, they are great tracks, but not astralish... -

They have even one more AP like track, but it seems like it is unreleased as it is not on one of the 3 albums released by Phototropic! The tracks is 10 min long, and is very floating like "electric blue"! No name though, I just know it is synsun, it was on a promo from them a LONG time ago, when we compiled Apsara -
I actually still saw him doing that... Which means I am becoming old And he became older as well... And probably deaf and braindead, haha
