Actually this is his new album, so this is all pretty recent music
-
Yes it is......... Ormion, did you see that? After he made the fool, he made this one and in the end you see Juan dance himself
-
there were maybe 10 real goa trance releases? Better is a "free" top 10 poll then imo, and we'll see if any goa trance album will reach it
-
Thanks, Don't forget this is no off topic

Anoebis replied to a topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Yes, we went in the soft morning trance direction for some releases, but next ones will be the total opposite... Thanks for all the support people, you can't believe how much this means for us, really -

albums or eps that we all think are milestones in the psy scene
Anoebis replied to NEMO.BOFH's topic in General Psytrance
you said D-Nox & Beckers are not a milestone in trance, well, the progressive people in Belgium won't agree, they all say they are the godfathers of modern progressive psychedelic trance... The problem is, I have no idea if that is true as I don't follow it at all... Else I agree with Basilisk, that of course the early releases are not per sé goa/psy trance "pur sang", but they are part of the evolution towards goa/psy -
sounds very good only track that dissapointed me via the samples is: The Stones are not too busy stream - sounds more like slow housy progressive

Anoebis replied to NEMO.BOFH's topic in General Psytrance
D-Nox & Beckers!!! Every progressive freak loves them, they are clearly a milestone, I don't see a link with psychedelic trance anymore... it bored me to death and it was not psychedelic, neither trance... -
albums or eps that we all think are milestones in the psy scene
Anoebis replied to NEMO.BOFH's topic in General Psytrance
The Infinity Project never really liked their music, and Mystical Experience is really not that special... -
+1 it's the same on my copy, I even made a copy for myself with that track MUCH louder
-
A compilation I should have had a LONG time before... Xploring Another Reality from Organic Records. It is very very good
-
What music are you listening to right now?
Anoebis replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
Mandavalandalz - King of the bad trips, and I'm sure now, the album is pretty weak compared some his older ones... A few good tracks, but that's it -
Weekend, and euphoria, this means the track of the day is: Astral Projection - Virtual Booster or even Axis v0.99 if you are in a VERY happy mood
-
Well, Ra is for sure the weakest of the 5 (and it sounds a little old compared to the others), but the others are SUPERB for me, altough indeed 2 tracks were re-released on every album it seems but the tracks itself are fantastic! Also keep in mind for instance "Galactic Nebula" is an Asia 2001 album as well altough it is listed as a compilation...

2 Different 'Transve - Phototropic' releses ?
Anoebis replied to psyhoe's topic in General Psytrance
It IS possible, altough this means they have splitted them all. I saw the last remaining stocks of Distance, and the Transwaves were not in the Transwave packs anymore... so this means: - or they took all the packs out of eachother to have 3 cds to sell - or they printed a second print, used a part for the Trancewave packs and used another part for the "regular" cds -
Don't forget 9th, it is (for me) probably the best with Transdimensional, I thought the Uncertainty Principle was weaker tho... Anyway... if I see to my own "scores" in my lists I find the Ra/D5 combo as well and: Asia 2001: Ra Strange World Live Psykedelia Ama Zone MFG The prohecy (Symbiosis version) New Kind of World Project Genesis Solar Fields: Reflective Frequencies (a tiny little weaker) Blue Moon Station Extended Leaving Home

Nope, sorry -
2 Different 'Transve - Phototropic' releses ?
Anoebis replied to psyhoe's topic in General Psytrance
yes, there are simply 2 prints made from this cd The original is the one with a full color cd, the one with less colors on the cd is the second print -
Very good cd, melancholic, sometimes even sad... Not for listening when you are sad as tears will come very fast then The best from Somnia so far I think (together with Somenia CD02), I love the way the piano is used in many tracks, it sounds almost like modern classical filled with ambient atmospheres, more like this please!

labels focused on 140+bpm underground uptempo climaxes
Anoebis replied to Alectrance's topic in General Psytrance
Altough somtimes full on-ish at some points this first your "underground uptempo climaxes in the good alien foolish way superior intellect?" description Glowing Flame Records Also some forest trance labels are in this style like Sanaton, Yggdrasil, but I doubt this is climatic enough for you It's more alienated -
You mean about festivals? Or you mean psychedelic visuals? Or you mean labels that released a DVD? or...?
-
Actually it is not too loud, it is rather very much (and I guess for some too much) compressed, reason is the same like the Khetzal album, some of the tracks were very different from soundquality and age (the C.S. was written when Antares was 4 years old...) and to make them more like a whole some things may sound a little extreme indeed
