That sounds more realistisch and possible for sure! We are actually working right now on the new site which will be up within 1-2 weeks, we can probably make such a place
-
lol... That would be great but... - we don't have a decent camera - I and Fabien have a daytime job which is sometimes killing me, more would be even more destroying (but ok, I can manage that ) - I think 10 people would buy Party footage would be great as we have great atmosphere on the parties... but well, we need a GOOD camera at least Also, I think it would only sell if there is a dvd about the new school rising in the world, but then you need at least 5 countries paricipating... no? Just some thoughts

I just checked, mine please perfect
-
A pitty the music isn't like that... like 3-4 good tracks, but that's it, most sound old, REALLY old... but ok, it's nice to have some original melodies (like Another World)
-
remastered? and real cd prints or cdr?
-
Where did you buy that cell cd? (and who the hell are you on psychedelic... A Belgian guy with good taste in music... We must know eachother ) My catch of the day SFX - Rainbirds (for 1€ )

Do you think that the Psytrance scene is a subculture?
Anoebis replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
As many people said it probably depends on every country indeed... but I think it is a sub culture as well... Go to a party allover the world, and the vibe is mostly the same, the decoration somehow the same, and in the summer you can see many people dance the same... Also clothing, even certain rituals are the same between many many people from all over the world, which means this is a international, global sub-culture... Some people resemble to black metal, well... I think it is the same, you have the typical metal dude (black clothes, long hair, iron around his arms) and you have the typical goa head (dreadlocks, fluoro or indian style clothes, lots of drugs,...) but that doesn't mean ALL goa heads, or all metal lovers look like that! if you go to Belgium for instance you will see in the old school scene probably 60% of the people were fluoro shirts, batik shirts, indian stuff and have dreads, but 40% looks "normal" In my case, I guess I look like the most typical goa head you could imagine, but with the difference I stay off drugs, alcohol, caffeïne,... and I do have a job, even a public one I never felt the urge to travel for 10 years or move to some far away country -

All Facets of trance according to me (2007 version!)
Anoebis replied to Anoebis's topic in Psynews.ORG
does enyone has a place to re-upload it? I won't re-make it or update it though because I got TONS and TONS of bat critics because of this mindmap... (it was not good to think in different genres) -

What music are you listening to right now?
Anoebis replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
Electrypnose I got from Menlancholyman *thanks again* That guy's ambient is simply straight from heaven, FANTASTIC! -
Can you help out with some label / artist sugestions?
Anoebis replied to illusidation's topic in General Psytrance
as said here, Ultimae is the closest for sure (Aes Dana uses that 4/4 beat as well in many tracks) But also EXACTLY the style of Asura are: Peace Therapy 1 Peace Therapy 2 both superb cds imo All around 90-120 BPM -
I liked alot of his tracks! La Esperanza is superb For The people is lovely even Avalanche I like ALOT Maybe it's because I come out of "normal" trance, but I think this is a talent that is lost
-
Listen more it's a subtile compilation, for once we didn't want an "in your face" compilation... So more listening will probably make you like it more... (as said before, this is in contrast with Merr0w which will be total madness goa trance), this is what I feared in the beginning, that many people would dislike it at first listen because it is too soft, but ah well... Taste I guess, and I noticed that alot of new school goa is influenced by nitzhonot or super happy melodies, this is the opposite, deep melodies, deep trance (or that was the idea at least) if I would ever hear these tracks on a beach at 6 in the morning, I swear, I would die by dancing too hard
-
indeed, this is not a very good release, it is clear that Dave was still searching his new direction here... and well, I was ultra glad that he managed to make a real goa anthem for Sundrops so let's hope he continues in that direction!

Banco De Gaia

No Otherwise I would have done that for sure... The weird thing was we were in touch in 2004, and then, at once they vanished... They did send me some short samples which were super good, but after that the e-mail address dissapeared, the site was gone etc... Weird

Real cancer isn't there yet, just some cells that are on the way on becoming a cancer I think... The biggest problem is the need for $$$, which makes many artist release commercial music, I think there are the roots of todays progressive/minimal and full on psy trance, because the artists needed a wider public to earn the same amount of money... Is that a problem? I don't know... And I don't really care, as long as there is enough good music, and there is I think
-
We had alot of music by them, but unfortunately it was all far less good then the stuff that was released... A pitty as they had alot of talent for sure! Same with California Sunshine, tons of unreleased tracks and the best one by far was the one released on Sundrops imo... In opposite of what many people think, lots of the unreleased tracks are not THAT amazing from famous groups... Most real good tracks were released... I say most, there are still options of course I want the old Amanite FX tracks to be released (before they really vanished from the earth)
-
Just choose the best tracks, simple as that... I don't care if it is from famous groups or infamous... As long as it is good And I prefer real music over B-sides, as some collectors will have that stuff already of course
