yihaa! It's released today they arrived at my home and at psyshop as well it seems soon the other shops will follow of course Anyway, here is our official sheet about this release! Hello everybody! I hope you all had a great summer... And well, even though the summer is over, we are sure to continue with sunny music! Because of that we present you our 8th Suntrip cd that was released... Today! Goasia - From Other spaces! Goasia is one of the new stars in the old/new school goa trance scene We can describe his style as goa trance with up to date production but with but with the complexity, melodies and spirituality of old-style Goa music. Music for DJ's that want to give the dancefloor a big smile! Most of the tracks are tsunamis on de dancefloor although Sunrise can be described as an epic Platipus-like trance anthem and Pray for Rain is an ambient beauty. For samples, and all details... have a look at: http://www.suntriprecords.com/pages/releases/SUNCD09/ In case this all sounds like perfect music for your ears, please support the artist and the label... it's available at very fair prices at: our own homepage (where you can still get our older releases) www.suntriprecords.com Psyshop http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/sut/sut1cd009.html Saikosounds: http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display...ase.asp?id=6900 Beatspace: http://www.beatspace.com/dettagli/dettaglio.asp?id=3803 and your other usual shops as well of course Then... What else brings the future!? We are now compiling a new compilation called "Opus Iridium" which will be our 10th cd, and because of that it will be something special! It will be a double cd with 1 trance and 1 ambient side and also it will have an extra big booklet! Also expect some surprises name-wise... For booking our artists, promos, contact on any way... Which is the One track that defines Psytrance?
Anoebis replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
It must be a track that is both Old School (Goa sound) but also has a modern touch. It must be a track that is both Morning and Dark if possible. It must be a track that is both for the mind (tripping) and body (dancing). It must be a track that is psyshedelic in both melodic mayhem (Goa style) and FX mayhem (new style). It must be a track with a big intro, climaxes, start-stops, classic samples and big outro. (classic Psy signatures). Hard... but then for me it must be: Logic Bomb - Computers and Microprocessors also Infected - Mush Mushi is in my mind... -
I agree fully! Because of that I would like to say for me Khetzal and Ra is old school goa for sure, while Ka Sol and Goasia are more new school goa for me... It's like the next step in goa trance... Which is not good or bad, it's just goa in a new coat! And both styles will be available in the future, I'm sure Afterall they are very close anyway

After 10 years... I finally know what is the best goa track ever! :)
Anoebis replied to Anoebis's topic in General Psytrance
Hehe, ah well... I said for me so this is personal indeed... And let's hope goa evolves so that I can write in 20 years... "hahaha, and I thought NDMA - Vitan was great... I didn't know what the future would bring back then!" -

Anoebis replied to Anoebis's topic in General Psytrance
héhé... Great to see so many others like it as well... Like that this track will never be forgotten and warm some hearts tonight I admit it is not very complex, but every sound is simply perfectly put on the right place -
Ok... it's very untipical for me to start such a topic... but I know it for sure now... After 10 years of goa listening I had many favourites... Many of them faded away, also many of them are still good when I hear them now... but only 1 track managed to give me goosebumps over and over and over again... Even after year and years and years... So oficially I know have thé ultimate favourite goa track, and that is: N.D.M.A. - Vitan! Don't forget to play it loud on a crystal clear sound system or you miss half of the fun... But then... A gateway straight to heaven... if I die, this should be played on my burial!

Anoebis replied to radi6404's topic in General Psytrance
*Moderator message* Come on dudes, behave a little nice from now on... Trying to make Radi angry had no use, and this is general, so concentrate on the music please... -
One Man Game... One of the tracks of their album...
-
Indeed, I think it's one of the best darkish album of the year as well... (only the cover... but ok) Worst so far... No idea... I always listen all the samples on Saikosounds to see if it fits my taste!

If you like the first album of Asura Check out as well: Peace Therapy 1 and 2 And overall, the Chronos album has the same feelings/sounds as Asura imo
-
A friend of me was about to book them... When he found out they actually not like (hate?) eachother alot... So forget about the re-issue... they don't agree at all about this...
-
Actually it is a medieval dance and a track of Khetzal that Caroline likes alot... So that explains her name... but she's a rather silent lurker... Like so many...
-
haha, looks nice... GREAT! I wish I could have been there as well, they are one of my all time favourites! Ps: Afgin, check your mail, some great news in there

Goasia - From Other Spaces (SUNCD09)
Anoebis replied to mars's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Ra restarted with his album... he moved twice this year (once to Sardinia and back), and didn't had much time for music because of that... But slowly it is reaching completion, altough I don't dare to name a date yet for release... The next release will be a double cd called "Opus Iridium" with 24 pages booklet... 1 trance cd, 1 ambient, and expect alot of surprises on those discs... We Live There didn't make it Amphiton... You'll understand why when you heard the album -

Well, we (I and Fabien) decided to give the first cover a no (after opinions of other people as well), because of the very bad inlay (in our opinion) with pictures of the artists and not totally finished artwork in our opinion on the rest of the artwork... It was made by Killerrabit by the way... The cover is not bad, but does not fit Suntrip/goa style imo, it's more like a full on cover with the linear design... The blurred-picture-on-a-street-theme is also not my style... I'm a sucker for organic covers (probably noticed in the past, héhé) The new artwork is much better imo, more magical, and specially the inside/back is much better in my opinion... But you have to see the total artwork to be able to give a proper opinion of course... About the music, we are (again) very happy with the result... Sunrise is thé ultimate emotional trance track platipus style and the rest is more like good melodic goa trance with modern vibe and only ANALOG sounds -
Nice Toy Fractal Gates Floating Universe and last but not least Trip Tonite Rmx (which is better as the original imo) they do the trick every time...

I found out about the BPC track as well... When I listened the vinyl it was like "hey... I know this melody" - one of the SFX tracks on the album has the EXACT same melody as Energy 52's Café Del Mar - I think Pop Stream (not sure) has ripped the exact melody of Capella's most famous track (89-90 or so) which I don't know the name of... but the melody I do! - Ka Sol's White Magic is a cover of a heavy/death metal track (I have know idea which one tho... Some people might recognise it tho)
-
This fantastic cover:
-
if it ever gets finished it will be released somewhere else, that's for sure but it would be great if they resurrect... More BPC please!
-
It changes every week Right now: BPC - Antidote (Pleiadians Rmx) => On a big soundsystem it's ARGH! a week ago NDMA - Vitan

Ghreg on Earth, very industrial like... specially his album... The darker side of Ka Sol as well (and Schlab 003 and 007 and partly 001) some Tim Schuldt stuff like Ohm Shiva Shin also has a very goa-industrial crossover vinyl from the early years (95 or so)
