Solaris-Out There, same name different tracks
Anoebis replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
yep, indeed The real out there is the aggressive acidic stormer (for me the best Ofer track he ever made), the softer is extra mundane... if you want both on 1 cd to be sure: Deep Psychedelic Diving vol. 2 -
A guitar? You should check Skazi, he also uses it *sorry, couldn't resist*
-
once again too hard... but at this moment (and this changes alot...) - Floating Universe - Nice Toy - Shadow Dance
-
too hard... but ah well, let's try... In no particular order: - Code S9 - Cycles of Life - The Rezwalker (London Live Rmx) => It sounds so close to thé Shakta Lepton head Rmx...

MPRCD03 - VA - Human Hyperactivation
Anoebis replied to Metapsychic_Records's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
a little off topic here, but on big soundsystems you actually can hear the difference... not that you are missing melodies or so, but simply the warm undertone of organic deep basslines seems stripped, it's not as warm "full", but then I agree that's only on big soundssystems -
Goasia - From Other Space (SUNCD09) Sun trip records
Anoebis replied to a topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
ah, it's already online we'll make a real announcement once we know the order of the tracks (the order now is simply random) and a cover... But one thing is sure, it will be released the first week of november -
thanks for the feedback everybody I'm glad many people took the time to listen to it as said before, it is about time ambient gets the recognition it deserves!
-
A nice mix Very chilly it made me familiar with some names I didn't know about before which is always nice but I wouldn't call it melancholic... Rather "classical music influenced" or so but the music is great and that's the main thing
-
for me I prefer a slower start, building to more madness and end with blisfull music... My dj sets are always like that, starting at 138 or so, peaking at 146 or so and then ending arund 144 with loads of melodies Actually for a compilation it is the same... like Apsara, but for some reason I heard alot of negativism of placing Aes Dana as the first track... Altough I still think downtempo is a good chill in But maybe I am alone for that

close your eyes, and dance like nobody's watching... That's the only rule concering goa dance as far as I know...
-
Thanks alot for all your recommendations, it will take me alot of time to check them all, but in the end i'll manage, and once in a while I'll write my personal opinions about certain albums here

hard to get ppl to get hooked on to psytrance
Anoebis replied to Apai_Mau's topic in General Psytrance
If you pay my place I'm willing to be your hooked friend for a few weeks -
the trance in trance music => the beat... The rhytm brings people into trance (see all ancient cultures) the psychedelic => all the melodies/effects/noises and/or atmospheres that makes the music go beyond your mind... and of course, trippy! the more you say about it, the harder it becomes

Ka-Sol album on Schlabbaduerst ever going to be released?
Anoebis replied to jivamukti's topic in General Psytrance
well, because Schlabbaduerst is now Resting In peace it won't happen there, but I know Christer is still willing to release it, maybe by himself, he was gathering some funds for a limited print, and the album should be called Ghost Stories... And well, the name perfectly fits the music, expect the opposite style from fairytale... it's really industrial influenced forest trance! I will ask him one of the next days what is up with the album, and then write it here -
Most celestial Goa, Psy (or any genre) song ever
Anoebis replied to Jon Cocco's topic in General Psytrance
Try nr 5 -
we must have a very similar taste, it was one of the only very good tracks (together with the Trold live act) on Boom last year... it was played there in the live act of Andromeda/Liquid Soul... So there is the source (he also played very good melodic Logic Bomb remixes in his live), but nothing released of course...

funny coincedance, I just had the Cygnus X album for my birthday from someone that didn't see this topic!

Anoebis replied to nolaxx's topic in Free Music Promotion
Holy SHit Argh, shit shit shit Instead of pushing the button "reply" I pushed "edit", and erased the whole text Nolaxx has written here (as moderator) Sorry, sorry, this is what you get when you reply too fast... Sorry once again, kick my ass -
Nolax - Persistence 2.0 (Album Re-Release!)
Anoebis replied to nolaxx's topic in Free Music Promotion
really, this has nothing to do with Metaphysics...! Good music is good music, for whatever label an artists makes music... In fact we (Suntrip) brought Nolaxx to be in july, and he played a fantastic set on an open air party I absolutely loved! So well, spread the word if you like this music! -
haha... FEAR nono, in fact I always listened to normal trance once in a while (I have like 50 "old" cds from before I listened to goa, and like 1 track on each cd I like), but now that I have almost all goa trance ever released, I feel the urge to look for more and well, as the modern dark and full on is nothing for me... I rather search for other perfect tracks in the normale trance genre But that doesn't mean I and Fabien will change our direction... never I told this already many times, even if I am the last guy in the world listenting to goa trance, I will keep doing it, with a big smile and a heart filled with joy and fantastic memories Btw; next music genres I should find out more about ambient and classical, but that will take forever to search...

NDMA - Vitan is the definition of what you described Jon if I ever die, they may play that track in the church... And I fly straight to heaven (I hope) -
