  1. I would buy when it is no CDR... if it is properly printed, and I like the music, i'll buy for sure!
  2. well, everyone had that with some cds at least I guess Last month I won Funk of Symbiosis for 1€ because it was written FuIIIk héhé I know Somseensee from this forum bought the etnica on ebay 2 months ago for only 16€, so you can find it at reasonable prices... if you put alot of time in it at least...
  3. Red Herring of Union Jack is another fantastic one, except for the terrible "funky beat" samples... Isn't there a version without it? The Disco Volante Rmx is maybe better because the samples aren't in there like in the original... but the melody is great nevertheless
  4. Thanks alot for the massive replies! Just wondering, is there anybody that is more aware of the Belgian old school trance, as it's easier to find for me I have all Bonzai Trance Progressive cds, and some of the tracks are impressive, I have 3 favourites till now, everything from Phi Phi (like Inner Tales, Phi Phi & Greg D some tracks), Blue Alphabet and Moon Project, but I'm sure there must be TONS... @ Tatsu, I know all these from my earlier trance times (before listening to goa) Binary Finary - 1999 (orignial and Key Cee Remix) Kaycee - Escape Paragliders - Oasis Paragliders - Paraglide Hitch-Hiker & Dumondt - A New Dimension And specially Kaycee and Paragliders are great indeed, Dumondt is more rave/hard trance thou, I'm now more into softish music... Like following stuff I rediscovered on my old cds Armin - Blue Fear Paul Van Dyck - Words @ patroller, Devious & Lauryn, thanks... I know some Pablo Gargano, and LSG but I will check the rest! @ Visine, I think the ones you mention are exatcly where I am looking for... Because I know some of the tracks and yes, they are fantastic! @ Kai Q: indeed, Superstition stuff is what I like as well! and I have the forst Sven Vath album, and I specially like the ambient (in fact, the ambient mix I posted 1 month ago starts with a track from that cd, héhé), but the rest is not really my style... but the others are interesting, I'll check Thanks alot everybody! And just wondering, isn't there something as an "old school trance" forum? I mean, for normal trance?
  5. Damn, I am more trance as I thought... Any, a nice extra I'm sooo trance that I hear a rhytm + bassline in a station when a train is leaving and I move my head on it...
  6. Accidental Occidentalism Blue Planet Corporation - Blue Planet Transwave - Hypnorhytm Trance Experience - A Journey Into Aural Geometry Hunab Ku - Magic Universe
  7. thanks for all the replies! I am fully aware of the Platipus releases, and I have most of them, but I miss the warm background sound that goes on and on in most of the tracks, my favourite there is Quietman and some Art of Trance tracks. Eye Q is more my style then, Cygnus X for example Kaito I have to check, thanks! Astralasia does not come even close to the style I questioned imo, I sold all their albums when I had them so they didn't impress me much... The ones Basilisk mentioned... I will check Humate - Love Stimulation... YES, that style I mean, I have this track of course, already in 96, but that's exactly the style I mean... And yes, I love some Noma tracks as well, they come indeed very close to the described sound, a littlebit more progressive, but great nevertheless! Then the huge list of Kai Q, thanks alot for the names! I know quiet alot of them, but not all so I will check for sure! ps: another track in the same vain... Blue Alphabet - Cybertrance ... FANTASTIC!
  8. Aloha... I had a friend at my place yesterday, who came here with a selection of "normal" trance vinyls... and some of the tracks I heard there are ABSOLUTELY fantastic... I mean, they are trance in it's purest form, emotional, organic, deep and melodic, floating and challenging! Some of those tracks are very close to let's say Blue Planet Corporation early work (UFK vinyls), or astral projection... A very good example of the sound I'm looking for: http://www.discogs.com/release/88085 This can be perfectly mixed in a goa set, and it would make people cry of beauty... Is anybody here aware of more music in this style!? And is there anything like this released these days? Softish, beautiful normal trance...
  9. well, that depends on budgets of course, my ultimate dream will be something like the Tool cd, with the 3D images of Alex Grey... When you look through the glasses that are build in de booklet, you go total into another world... but that must have costed ******$
  10. After some listening the cd comes on a 7/10 for me... Only the Kox Box and Transwave are bod, younger brother, hallucinogen and OTT are really nice
  11. Anoebis

    Ishq

very good mix indeed, very chilly and relaxing, I love his organic style as well And yes... hopefully more will released soon :wank:
  12. I agree with all you said and it will make you more professional and serious for sure! But what you said on the quote is not true, maybe 10% of todays label owners can live from their label, so it's not like any other label... for most of the label owners it's a fun factory
  13. Actually the SPunout part at the right, with the plants and organic forms I like... But WHAT has that woman to do with the music!? Is it one of GMS' girls, that wanted to be "sexy" on a cover one day?
  14. yes, that was the idea, it's rather total dream/chill music instead of head-banging ambient always fun that at leats some people really enjoy it, because I have the idea ambient is still much less popular as goa mixes, a shame
  15. yes indeed, the other one of the single... I always mix them up... Thanks anyway
  16. Actually it is not that special, Fabien gave it to me last weekend, and what can I say... The dvd is nicely made, but the atmosphere doesn't seem to good when filmed and specially... NOT 1 SECOND OF THE OLD SCHOOL ROOM! grrr, that's why I bought it in the first place... Green Nuns live damned, but ok... Bad luck I guess... The interviews are the most interviews of the other features I think... The music then... The new Hallucinogen track is nice OTT as well, but Kox box and Transwave are very bad, Transwave made a total NOT IN DEPTH full on rmx of their greatest classic, blasphemy So well, for me 5/10
  17. For psychedelic uptempo trance I have an absolute 2007 favourite: TROLD! Finnish and ambient will be posted later...
  18. well, it has always been like that, his stories of dodgy managers etc are endless and start in 1995 Drug-addiction + an easy way of earning money = fraud
  19. no mp3-trading/promoting allowed on this forum *LOCK*
  20. I mean to use firefox of course... Doesn't work the "right click and save as" either? Anyone else experiencing problems? As all my previous mixes were downloadable the same way, and nobody had problems as far as I know... ps: thanks for the missing title, haha
  21. well, I don't think you can blame Kagdila for this, I guess they were simply fooled by someone... And the cd doesn't lose it's novelty I hope, because Afgin etc knew about it, don't worry But I think it's interesting to know... We here many questions here like "why is everybody producing other music", because of this kind of stuff
  22. this is a pretty serious topic, about something we hear way too often in the psychedelic scene these days... Dodgy contact, lousy payers, and drugged up managers... So, as everyone knows Chi-ad released 2 tracks on the Pure Planet compilation, unfortunately... He didn't even know about untill I said congratulations to him about that release! So what happened? His former manager and partner in crime is selling his music to labels, without permission of Dave Young himself! That's exactly what happened with Pure Planet 2... Dave Young didn't know about the release AT ALL... Because of that he is feeling more and more bad about the scene (he had several experiences like this before), so let's all try to spread the word so it won't happen again! If you want to release Chi-ad, please contact him (Dave Young) personally instead of someone else...
  23. well, take yourself Mozilla Firefox, there you can download it... no stream Is anyone else having this problem? Because here it works just fine the carbon based lifeforms track... argh... "What about the forests"? forgot the title! Also, I forgot 1 track; so here is the updated tracklist 1. Sven Väth - Drifting Like Whales In The Darkness 2. Aes Dana - Haze 3.
