Havent heard from this talented artist after "Highlight me please" which i still rate as one of the best Psychedelic trance albums i have ever heard .. nothing , not even Hallucinogen sounds as musically magnificent , psychedelically speaking , as this dudes stuff .. Anyway anyone have any idea on this forum what this project is upto or anything similar in the last 3/4 years that comes close to sounding like a psychedelic orchestra, the whole greater than the sum of its parts ? Sonic Elysium is cool but the cool quotient isnt as high as Meeo's.

@ Sideffect - Would definitely meet you mate if i come to Belgium it has been on the top of my list of places to visit and now looking at the videos im getting more and more tempted i love the beer from whatever little we get here in india - Stella, Hoegaarden and Leffe which is my favourite would like to taste the others too when i do end up there I would surely be up for 2-3 day festival if im making a trip all the way there unless Anoebis organizes a 1 day gig with Crossing Mind and Artifact303 on the line up , that would be a dream come true and i would 99% try and make it i hope im not asking for too much hehe , i could attend other parties if there are any planned around that time. It is surely more catchy than their KDD's earlier stuff which soon become UN-listenable with so much other good music around but still too fast and noisy IMO. 2nd track is really good.

I must say this is one heck of a unique album , initially it sounded boring and distant , nothing too much that hits you as great , but as i kept listening to bits and pieces which tingled and touched but never really hitting the spot, today it just hit me out of no where..booom!! Thats what i love about Goa and the power of its melodies and its secret treasure of joy only revealing so much every time and concealing the rest for later. Everything comes together so well , the production sits really tight on every corner , sweet and rich melodies take their own easy time to develop and to register as the main component of the track,. there is so much going on in each track along with the main melody which switches character , tone and tempo every 30 to fourty seconds its not funny, correct me if im wrong but is this what everybody else is hearing too?? for eg in elastic harmonies and no way wrong 2011 rmx.. the main melody is like a chameleon changing forms , really psychedelic twisted stuff this . Anyway these are my initial thoughts. Will visit this thread later as i keep listening to hear what else is going on ... I would like to add here that this album is genius and a really different sort of a progressive goa album very different in character from anything i have ever heard , its in the same style as Jekkentekis disjointed form of story telling in "A long walk home" but only much more powerful and structured with better production. My favourite is Modulated self reminders , what a ride from beginning to end , its like a romantic story that you wished went on forever without an end . Classic material overall ! 10/10 I thank Crossing mind and Suntrip for this bundle of joy. You guys are doing a fabulous job, keep it up

+1 to Das signal Im really into Flegma , Nerso, E-clip, Zyce ,, the tesseract studio gusy are churning up some really nice tunes. dunno if it 'strictly' qualifies as psyprog though. hard hitting groovy music for sure.

Its so interesting to come to Psynews and read comments about an album that you just discovered and you cant help seeing what other people are saying about it .. I for one couldn't believe that I was hearing such good Goa music . Can you imagine i just discovered this ? I have been exploring Goa tunes ever since i started visiting this site and i thought i had all artists covered. One name that kept coming up was MFG so i tried the full on album which i didn't like so didnt bother checking out their old releases... what a n00b!!! I dont know how but i was just going through some tracks on youtube and i stumbled on overload .. which got me interested. After hearing all their albums, i must say this is one of a kind Goa so different in flavor from other releases around its time , combining both dark and goa elements in a primordial otherworldly cosmic soup .. some tracks are intensely psychedelic .. it really sends me in a state of trance!!! the bass is mind-bending... wonder what these guy ate before starting production?? , its as heavy as most of the dark psy , night full on music that you get to hear these days but it beats them hollow in the psychedelic content.. wonder how they put such eargasmic content together so well.... didnt know such content existed in the Goa era. hats off !!! Open mind and sunshine are the most slamming tracks for me here, they just hit you in the face, Sunshine has the best climax i have ever heard in Goa and Open mind is just pure raw dance 2:48 onwards, it has the powerful pumpy techno touch to it , the last part is just pure extacy im only partial to Open mind because its little more technoish than Sunshine. ... the rest of the album is killer too but these tracks are like a Message From God. If there's one thing I love about MFG, it's that just when you think the track can't get any better, it does. Really kickass music!!! 10/10

First two record labels that come to mind are Horns And Hoofs Entertainment & Boshke Beats Records I dont exactly know whether the style they exhibit is what you are looking for but you could give it a try. Kino Oko and Bigwigs sound more or less like the electro swing you speak of even though they make more of psytechno Listening to your soundcloud though makes me wonder whether you are after more downbeat or upbeat ? The first 10 minutes sound pretty chilled .. does it get harder later on ? If you are looking for somethign that sounds like an orchestra with a pinch pf psychedelic try M.E.E.O .. its quite fast though .. might not fit in quite well with the tracks on your DJ set. +1 Yes i will go with this one too! was just watching the filteria aurora 09 live set ending and i was like which is this track ???? i saw the description and went and heard both the remix and the original five times over ... im tempted to say the filteria remix is better but if it wasnt for the original the remix wouldnt have come out ... so yes ..the orginal is one the best tunes ever !!!!

I like the new Pleiadians EP . Has a little full on touch to it which makes it more energetic and danceable IMO . Not just psychedelic brain music like their earlier releases ...
