Thats one reason i probably started enjoying it more. artists like salakalava, sattle battle , exxus and seinis have managed to incorporate the goodness of full on with the funk of spugadelic . im guessing you still depend on haltya for your dose of suomi.

I dedicate this thread to all artists & fans of this amazing sub-genre of psytrance. I'm slowly but slowly realizing and finding out that its so much better than the normal mainstream psytrance which is mostly uninspiring and unoriginal. Suomi is exactly what psytrance is not or what it is trying to be. the new EvsY album is a perfect example of the combination of modern psytrance and old skool acid with the massive baselines and maximal structures while retaining the essence of goa-trance ; the main focus is always on melodies and high frequency craziness. a heavy duty album for heavy duty people :posford: I urge all pagans to give this album and genre a try if you haven't already since i hardly see a mention of suomi here and believe you me , you just might come out a fan!

If you have a soft spot for dark psy you must not miss checking out entropy - think slow move fast. some really hard twisted dark in there. and if you dont mind some funky suomi then the new EvsY album is what i would recommend.

I voted south african. This set totally converted me from a full on fan & showed me how killer SA music can be if mixed well. the thing is i enjoy this style more in sets and not so much as individual tracks. i love hearing the hard beats mixed into each other with the flanger and stuff; that really gets the adrenaline going for me - Since i love to dance like a lunatic this style is a total stomp feast. Other than that i enjoy all styles except experimental and breaks. can't really dance to that.

I'm quite surprised it didn't win the Oscar for just the concept. Whoever came up with it, deserves all the accolades because its true when man becomes old and frail he is like a child needing all the care and love that he can get. I was just amazed by the make up and cgi coz i never got to know when the latter was being used other than the part towards the end when he returns from India. Other than that the movie explores the age-old theme of love but its just so absorbing the way it pans out. Age at the end of the day is just a number and love mustn't die because one is old and unattractive. You should do what your heart desires the fire of youth can be burning bright irrespective of the years that have clocked by. I just wished they had shown more of Benjamin as a kid; it was somehow too abrupt the end. All in all a magical movie which left me mesmerized by the reverse aging concept.

Refractions set very high standards for full on. There has been no album like that till now IMO; mind dala by mr peculiar comes a far 2nd followed by silicon sound- pure analog. I wish he makes an album which tops even refractions, but like how all good first albums go there is never a better follow up.

Im enjoying this much more than any hallucinigen ive heard before. The live nature of this record (even if its not real, did someone say those crowd noises were fake?) is what makes it more enjoyable for the listener.
