  1. All the best to the trolls and exogenic! Anxiously awaiting the release! :posford:
  2. I decided to check out fluke after going through both the threads. How do you define this music ? Techno meets Acid house meets rock ? or just plain electronica? Some of it sounds really catchy listening to it first up. Thanks for bringing it to the general attention of everybody, psytones. Wouldn't have got to know about them otherwise. :clapping: Now i can't really say i got to know about fluke through fluke
  3. I suppose i too am a bit late but i guess i'll exercise my vote anyway! Ra - 9th & Orchid Star - Birth/Re-birth are the best albums of 2008. Thank you.

    RA - 9th

I have honestly never felt this way after hearing ANY album from start to finish. There is truly something magical, ethereal and mystical about this. :) Cant wait for Ra's third. :drama:
  5. Its unbelievable to me that such fantastic tripped out stuff was made 14 years ago. Truly a unique band with a unique sound which is almost impossible to find today. This is probably the best acidic psyambient along ive heard along with CBL - Hydroponik Garden. If anyone has anything to recommend which even remotely sounds like COTB please let us know.

The last house on the left. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068833/ I was highly disappointed with this flick after all the hype around it. No real Horror or thriller at all, infact it was all boring thanks to bad acting , direction etc right from the beginning. Wes Craven definitely got better with time. Or maybe it was the cut version that I saw. Im sure the remake will be much better, even tho most of the time its never the case. 5/10
  7. Frank Steiner Jr. from touching silk - Indiras Chant
  8. Tooo far. I'll have to make do with listening to the album from here.
  9. Watched it last night. Its a great bold visual dark satirical take on the staggering flaws of capitalism and soviet communism crafted through non-linear surreal story telling . Laudable in the innuendos that come to light during the course of the movie but slightly over the top in the fearless depiction of perverse imagery to make his point. Really funny in parts; the cleanliness freak of a millionaire (gold dick and all ) and the love cramp scene. Altogether a striking example of uncompromising artistic mission of portraying thought provoking issues through bold cinema. Cheers for the recommendation, seraph. need to check out W.R. - Misterije organizma now.
  10. This album is exactly the reason why i fell in love with psytrance with a harder edge. The title track is the best example of how to combine techno and psy. too fuking good. one of the best albums out there if you're a dark psy ko nut :clapping:
  11. Well yeah i can understand that. But just because a person has heard too much of a particular genre doesn't automatically mean that he cannot find new music in that genre good enough. And vice versa. Atleast that's how i feel about it. The thing is that there's hardly any good music in the psytrance genre these days to sit up and take notice which is why people want to believe they've grown tired. If there's hardly anything original being released then obviously there is no point in forcing yourself to enjoy something.
  12. I think Ormion directly posted on the forum instead of pm'ing the team for posting the review on the main site.
  13. Just a suggestion - A books subsection in the other art subforum would be highly appreciated!
  14. Hmm.. just to correctly understand what you're saying.. are you implying a person new to the genre is going to react differently to crap music than say someone who has been listening to goa for the last 5/6 years? good music is good music and crap crap unless you're high on crack.
  15. i'll add three more to that: zenon digital structures dust n dance
