3:10 to Yuma http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0381849/ A gripping tale of a poverty stricken farmer Dan who volunteers to transport murderer/ robber Wade to the 3:10 train to Yuma prison for $200. What ensues is a psychological battle between good and evil and the triumph of the former. Awesome acting all round; Christian Bale's character is intense and riveting while Russel Crowe's cool as a cucumber. If you're a fan of straight up shoot em ups and rough & tough characters with slight speech problems this is not to be missed. 8.5/10

  5. Every time someone mentioned Wizzy Noise i strangely correlated it to something crappy and I was immediately reminded of cheesy music without even listening to them once. Dunno why, sometimes don't you automatically put a certain feeling to a particular name , you just tend to do it without there being a rational reason behind it? Well I was pleasantly surprised when i heard this album for the first time today. I was blown away by 2 tracks in particular; baby helicon and hentai. Amazing sound!!! I love the way the play with the bass notes .. taking you up and down, in and out , wanting to stomp in an open field with the wind against your face. It could well have sounded cheezy if they'd overdone it with the melodies or used a different bass ... thank god they didnt. Very good intelligent dance music IMO. I need to check out the other albums now. :clapping:
  6. A big thanks to pedro for recommending this. :clapping:

    [rec]

Anyone seen it? One of the comments on imdb says its not for the easily impressionable cause this movie has taken horror to the next level. I've got it with me but i just do not have the heart to watch it given my exams are on , i don't wanna feel like some zombie is creeping up on me . I love my sleep but at the same time really want to be able to watch it once at least all alone just for the rush. I don't wanna get carried away though considering everyone has been raving about the fact that it has redefined the meaning of horror altogether. Maybe I should wait to watch it with someone ? spoiler!! Can the moderator please change 'rec' in the topic title to capitals ?

  11. http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/ver/ver1cd020.html Indeed some of the best morning music I have heard in a while! I love the ever changing basslines and melodies.. nothing stereo-typical about it. great stuff :posford:
  12. All channels open - the last three minutes feels like the world is going to come to an end!!!! If the aliens ever do end up coming to drop off some of their music and ask for something in return this one should be on top of the list .
  13. The weird part about kindzazdza's music (or amazing which ever way you want to put it ), is that on some days it just sounds totally boring , repetitive , noizy and totally obnoxious, while on some it sounds totally off the hook absolutely bonkers!!! some of his old tracks on the discovalley record compilations are mad stomping .. this album was released around the time when kindzadza was churning out his best tunes. inner space just didnt make sense to me. in the end its all about the mood and what you're on, im afraid
  14. exactomundo. spirillianz ftw. :posford:
  15. Over the last six months or so i have been listening to hardly any psy because there is almost nothing out there that catches my attention. Nothing makes me get up dance (ive always been more inclined towards psy that is engineered more for the body rather than the mind) my love for psy is wearing off and its something thats hard for me to come to terms with because its been a part and parcel of my daily routine for almost about seven years or so. The problem could be that albums like Mr peculiar - Mind dala and Ghreg on earth - Sigilweaver are milestones in their respective fields and when such music becomes a benchmark then everything appears weak and pales in comparison. Maybe im expecting too much since these are strokes of genius , golden moments that cannot be aped . Im listening to a lot of chill which is something that ive grown really fond of (Pan electric and Ishq - About Time ) and there is definitely a lot more to enjoy for me in the chill side these days than in full power psychedelic which just seems to losing its charm. The only upbeat album /compilation i listen to quite often is Ra - 9th, Talpa - WSBAG and V/a Little worlds. Thank god for glowing flame records. So im looking for some full power dark or morning psychedelic music to ignite that flame in my heart which is slowly dying and restore my faith once again.
