Is is released? It's 8:35 long piece, I tried to search for a compilation (?) where it would be but couldn't find one. It's not Koxbox this time, so keep those comments in your mouth. Synth tweaking that only Etnica can execute is there. So it's 100 % them. Perhaps unrlsd serial killer?

is it unreleased? Manmademan & Tristan - Purple Merlin -
Haven't fully listened the new album yet. However, I find it to be pretty much similar to first one. Structural problems are still there. It doesn't help if you use the coolest sounds imaginable, if the structure is lacking so much. No clear melodic paths can be found really. The album is chaotic and makes no sense. "Melodies" evolve too quickly and if you listen closely, they're like computer randomized: don't match with each other and seem even a bit awkward. Also what can be found in Pleiadians material but not here, is that clear level-jumping: you create an epic melody and you slowly start to emphasize it to the maximum. Filteria wants it to be maximum all the time, and only little variation can be found. I'm also quite dissapointed of the sounds used in tracks: there seem to be so little amount of them. It's all so same sounding. Tracks don't identify themselves!

Filteria's new album. It's better than the first... Lunar Civilization rmx was million miles behind from the original. -

ayla - angelfalls ayla - outburst angel - amazone mirco de govia - final emotion mirco de govia - dive in the ocean It's same time uplifting and still relaxing to listen to melodic trance. makes me smile. -
maybe you're just outdated? I mean, you used to be average... and now you're still just average

Lovely album. These guys still had something to prove back then and had a big ambition to do something spectacular. Timeless masterpiece, the album Infected Mushroom is known of.

I don't mind if people say I'm gorgeous.

Hey I don't like only goa. But indeed that's the genre I talk about in this forum the most, have to agree with that. Recently I have more and more started to crawl in the melodic/acid trance area (circa 1993-1995). But why talk about that when there's not many here who have similar taste? I'm also quite fond of lounge music, electro, idm, jazz/funk, prog rock And I don't think I'm throwing myself out from 50% of electronic music if I don't listen to minimal prog psy.

I also think idiot is the best track from them after the totally brilliant "time slices/perceptor" vinyl. they never topped that. shame.
-
Listened the "flying cowboys" too. Dude, if you want to be anything special, you better start making the WHOLE track as impressive as the final climax melody was. cheers!

I've never heard anything like Kenosis. Bloody nice work dude! I prefer a bit more complicated touch, but this works just the way it is. Oh and the only part I like is from 5:00 to forward. The beginning is rather weak. I really hope you ignore the mouths saying higher bpms are a problem. How many melodic psy albums have you seen where the bpm is close to 170-180? Indeed, there isn't any. BUT that's not because it's impossible. You could be g.r.o.u.n.d.b.r.e.a.k.i.n.g.! keep practising your talent. oh but I don't like those happy hardcore-alike shouts. "seven!" and so on. blah! I mean c'mon man, even if the music is fast it doesn't have to be total cheesesplash!

Infected Mushroom - Chmimo Some quite unfinished unrlsd track... has quite storming melodies in the end though. -
I hear, I hear. You're cool too, brazilian surfer boy. Your taste in music is horrible, but you're still cool.

yes, yes! http://www.aavepyora.net/musa/goddess.html that saundi is just madness, baby! every self respecting goa geek has to lick that clink. eh... click that link. *click!*

hehé, it seems now I have , although I have to say that's just the tip of an iceberg you got there, the most popular ones, and surely you could name better artists for electronica/electro, even techno, and then how about acid trance? lounge music? dub? those are some of the genres (well if you drop the acid) I've seen that progressive psy rips off. And doesn't do good result on that. Some like progpsy that's perfectly fine with me, but it bores the hell out of me. "progressive trance" - is melodic, not repetitive. I wasn't talking about it. (although, prog psy is labeled as "prog trance", to confuse you bad time)

yes. but you see, you think the "why?" as I'd be trying to say "that wasn't a good buy". but "why?" in this case is just simple: why? my mission is to make this thread more than "look mommy, no hands!"-show off topic. discussion!
-
I've always thought people listen to prog psy because they just don't know for better. I've never come across a fellow who has wide knowledge of electronic music genres and still prefers prog psy. never.
-
tell me what is that progressive psy has, that other musical genres fail to deliver?
-
sharp is nothing like the old material. (and I mean this in a negative way) they've gone so bad.
-
why did you get them? OY? I got: Lost Tribe - The Distant Voices EP http://www.discogs.com/release/160500 very nice, trancey stuff. best plate from lost tribe. even better is that it's the promo vinyl with 4 tracks, as the official release was in two parts. Legal Mission - Forcing Tomorrow http://www.discogs.com/release/200209 I'm not sure if this is good, but 1 euro sacrifice is not bad. Electric Universe - One Love http://www.discogs.com/release/120332 the track that never ends! few euros for such rare release, why not. COP - Alien Nation http://www.discogs.com/release/114240 "why not." The only thing I really wanted was Lost Tribe. Others just...came along...
