  1. Haven't heard new "goa" since 2003 when Intriga, a fellow finn, blowed up the bank with his unrlsd goa tunes. And no, Goa is not dead, if we keep it alive in our hearts.
  2. From these I voted for shamanix (rmx). The loin king rmx by hallucinogen is far better than the original in my opinion.
  3. legowelt - sturmvogel may I just say mr. wolfers, you got the some magic fingers.
  4. I got this one today, brand new. Yeah let's not go to the sum I paid for it... ambidextrous - outside ^ I recommend that one fully.
  5. I agree. But I was more pointing my criticism to your statements about hallucinogen and koxbox, which aren't highly appreciated for nothing. I wasn't talking about koxbox' sideprojects at all. (haven't even much heard saiko-pod to be honest.)
  6. oh I wish I had english skills of an englishman. but anyways yes I was disagreeing. To compare koxbox and eat static: eat static is techno, drum'n'bass, trance, psy. koxbox is psychedelic trance. (some techy stuff nowadays eh? but I'm talking more of the mid 90s here.) what's common factor with these acts? the common factor is that they've appreciated and known in the psytrance scene. and what do one knows, we're on a psyforum! what I'm trying to get here is that the people who talk about these projects come from psy-community. so, as I've heard a fair amount of psy, I can easily say there's nothing close to that mad sound of ol' koxbox. but to say eat static is unique? From what I've heard, they are. But then again think of the scale of styles is in their sound! Do you view yourself as an expert in the field of d'n'b, techno, breaks, salsa, etc? I'm guessing not? well, not in all those areas are you? so, to draw a conclusion, how could one know is eat static unique, as their sound is so broad, and you basicly should through-outly know most genres of electronic music that you could really say "yes, there's nothing alike." as for koxbox-sound being merely psy, you can quite easily make such statement.
  7. yeah, that damn "language barrier"... always there for me.
  8. oh I'm sorry, did I do some terrible grammar error there? I can't really spot the "hard to get"-ness of that one.
  9. now that's as false statement as is to say it's low standard to say Eat Static is "unique". edit: uups! edit2: screw it. it's all mumbo jumbo. from now on only finnish.
  10. charlie, do you remember how huge impact AP had when you first heard it back in the days? radi's going through that same route, maybe a little late though. let the boy have his fun.
  11. every big goa act is unique. that's what made them big.

  13. Eat static - "abduction"-album they sounded so unique and ahead of their time back then and still do. All the details and that creativity already in 93... simply outstanding! I forever hold mi respect for these guys.
  14. You know what we should do? We should send this topic and its replies to the man, c'mon, himself with the gaylord's "do you write c'mon shmoon to moom?"-topic. That should do the trick that the postfraud dude would open his Is.

  19. I don't really like the stuff I've heard from em. For chill-out I'd go with Children of the Bong, Global Communication and B12 instead.
