  1. psy? pie. psypie. edit: people can psy, but you better not pie.
  2. that's the way to go. You could also try Autechre's 'amber' and especially 'incunabula'
  3. It's a pain to listen so badly mastered stuff... If it would just be well produced I definitely would like it.
  4. Listening to brown&booth material, it's so fascinating! Right now Gescom's "The Sound Of Machines Our Parents Used" oh and as it seems using a cool smiley is the current trend I of course want to be on that train! " " yeah, it's so funny! lolders
  5. Let's open a bottle of the finest champagne! you go nhjo!
  6. It's been a long time since I've replied here... or the general section in general stuff that has rocked my boat today: legowelt ae incognito x-dream coco steel and lovebomb gescom all I can really say about stuff like that is... fjiuuuuuffff!
  7. mr. radi6404, can I just say radio644? okay. radio644, you've made quite a nice track here. what's positive is that the sounds are very classy and acidic. the negative side is that your track follows the same formula through the track, meaning it's quite repetitive. nice going still, keep up the spirit.
  8. I guess there's not much reason to be here anymore if it's only the general forum + reviews forum. That's pretty much cause there isn't any good music made in this scene anymore. Why bother to make reviews/discuss about some pretty generic non-innovative non-emotional "psytrance"? that's what is released nowadays. I really digged the way things were before. There was something for anyone! Freestyle section was such a nice invention; You could talk irrational bullshit there all the time. What a bliss! That's what I do irl, why should it be different here? I guess it's pie-pie from the gaylord-kinda-guy now if it's gonna stay like this.
  9. there are some elements that define music into some genre. But when talking about 'Spiritual Healing' (the track) it's not such an obvious case. It's a bit more slow-paced and dream-ish track when compared to more, should I say "mainstream" goa. It's not a goa definer for me either, but it'd be wrong to say it's melodic trance cause the similarities to goa are more there than similarities to melodic trance.
  10. the fact you, seraph and cinos say it's not a goa track does not make it an objective matter. the only conclusion you can draw knowing these opinions, is that three people think the same way. I've heard the track many times, and more than anything, it's goa even if it's a bit different from the usual goa sound. But anyways, as I see it's completely a matter of opinion, how to define soundwaves, there's no right or wrong here.
  11. haha your a funny fellow cinnie you always make these statements about different things but I've yet not seen you back them up. What kinda proof can you give me to these statements? As far as I can see you can't really give any. Prove me wrong.
  12. there's no logic in that. "If I and.... it has to be true" It's just unlogical statement from redneck-internet-geek-kinda-guy
  13. I agree with Schmo and Rain. 'Spiritual Healing' is definitely goa. "Goa Trance" doesn't have to have any eastern melodies... just take Hallucinogen f.ex. he makes it very twisted way but there's no india in it (or maybe in some tracks )
  14. But I was gonna say that! Truely the greatest goa track I know
  15. glad to see I'm not the only one But really that's achievement! Not usually any psy-melody plays in my head But that one does it, too well actually!
  16. You know that melody from the end of "Madness" has played in my head like a year now damn you! No complaining you know your stuff
  17. koxbox prog? is. http://www.discogs.com/release/40913 I know it sounds too good to be called 'prog' but that's still what it is. You're lovely in that dress!
  18. Koxbox's The Great Unknown is the only prog release I can say I like. What's your secret? This is delicious!
  19. VNV Nation... superb tekno/electro! absolutely smasing without h!

    Psygone - Optimystique

Nice, steady release from Psygone. Tracks are a bit similar and it doesn't get that shining even in the best moments. Nothing too spectacular, but nice to hear few times a year. 5/10 It's a bit cloudy isn't it?
