+1 I'm unleashing (MR1, MR2, Three Om Three, ?) the best unreleased old school stuff in my collection slowly but surely...
-
I'm curious... Which artists are really good and didn't release anything? This might've been true to some extent back in the 90s/ early 00s but these days the channels are various to publish your works. If you're good and serious about your music, there are doors open waiting for you. There's indeed another factor called artists own will to release music that has a lot to do with this all, but that's another story.

I offered Anoebis a chill-out track and didn't get an answer. Don't think there's personal problems behind that, though. You'll save yourself time my friend, if you stop assuming things to too much extent. Now as Anoebis has said nothing at all considering this case, and you'd go as far as telling such an assumption, I could only see this being you reflecting a stance on yourself thru another person. Obviously. And have fu*k all to apologize it for. When you're good enough, you'll get released.

Hello zikrr@£$, A small top-5: 1) Hallucinogen - Twisted 2) Koxbox - Dragon Tales 3) Cosmosis - Cosmology 4) Transwave - Helium 5) Green Nuns Of The Revolution - Rock Bitch Mafia
-
Thank you Day Tripper, that's the one!
-
Some really good choices on that tape. Unfortunately they go under my radar mate!
-
It was a generalization. Meaning goa, and other electronic genres as well, headed towards digital evolution after Y2K.
-
It's quite an useful/"good sounding" term and I like to use it. The modern day goa has different production values and the sound texture is different because analog -> digital.
-
Very good producer, agreed.

Azriel's Hypernova is one of the golden nuskool goa tracks I've dropped in a set once or twice...

I'm more of a seller than a buyer these days. (check out my insanely low prices! http://www.discogs.com/user/canyon-Kalle) There's only about 20 items in my wantlist (according to Discogs) most of them being older goa releases. I'm slowly going to a direction where I probably only purchase Anjuna, Zion 604 and DAT for keeping the old school vibe alive.

I didn't buy anything new in a long time. But when you finally get a pay check and a friend of yours is selling classics for a cheap price how could one resist? :----------> Bought these: Sandman - Witchcraft Astral Projection - Trust In Trance Hallucinogen - Twisted Koxbox - Too Pure EP va/ Dance, Trance & Magic Plants Planet BEN - Trippy Future Garden

Which artists have come the closest to these classic groups?

Morphic Resonance and Lapsus -> Pleiadians - to quite an extent, Filteria isn't that similar in my books. Doc Von Ooze -> Moonweed - definitely some similar acid action going on in there. Galactic Mantra -> Astral Projection - this guy is one of the rare composers with abilty to create soul uplifting melodies like AP in the heydays. Intriga -> I.M - this guy is my friend and I'm a bit biased to say that I admire his sound. 98% of his productions are unreleased. The best composer ever in psytrance in terms of unnoticed talent going full under the radar. -
Hi, I heard in India this progressive track that's probably known one, but as I don't know the genre I've got no idea what it might be. There's a vocal going on in the track for a really long period. It tells about what God is. Goes something like: "I am the infinite, I am you, I am One, I am the beginning, I am the end"... and what not.

If I got it right, this download link is available for one week: http://we.tl/lT7Aeimpio

Some awesome tracks there, I agree completely. Enough quality to validate a cd release I reckon?
-
I tried to put it on Soundcloud, but it got rejected. I could upload it on the net but where can one put a 600mb file for free?

A couple exceptions aside, this mix consists of 90s ambient / goambient. I trip down to the memory lane... http://youtu.be/ip33yEQwHGw tracklist: 1.Brian Eno - Stars (Polydor 1983) 2. Another Fine Day - Green Thought (In A Green Shade) (Beyond 1994) 3. Starseed Transmission - Alkaline Paradygm (Nova Zembla 1994) 4. Gas - Microscopic (em:t 1995) 5. Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene (Part I) (Polydor 1976) 6. Tanzmuzik - Patlache (Rising High Records 1994) 7. Global Communication - Delta Phase (Dedicated 1993) 8. G.O.L. - Soma Holiday (China Records 1995) 9. FSOL - Lifeforms (Path 5) (Astralwerks 1994) 10. X-Dream - Relaxed Vortex (Tunnel records 1996) 11. Miranda - Weightless (Koyote Records 1996) 12. Cosmosis - Afterglow (Transient Records 1996) 13. Dimension 5 - Flow* (Suntrip Records 2007) 14. 100th Monkey - Schumacher Levy No. 9 (Rumour Records 1996) 15. The Infinity Project - Noises From The Darkness (Dub) (TIP Records 1995) 16. The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences (Blue Room Released 1995) 17. Shiva Chandra - Electron Seeds (Spirit Zone 1996) 18. Ololiuqui - Olo Garden (Spirit Zone 1996) *This version of 'Flow' is from the Suntrip Records remaster and frankly, it's a disastrous because it's so loud and gives very little room for dynamics and ruins the flow (hehe no pun intended) a bit. I didn't think about this quality issue when I was spontaneously picking up records for this mix.

I gave it a listen but can't notice anything special but I'm probably half deaf anyway...

Here's my latest mix. Full power no shower. https://soundcloud.com/sab-kuch-milegator/neo-goa-allstars-full-on

Request denied. No but really my friend, you have all too wrong an approach if you want other people make music tailored for you. They're making music to express their creativity and it's just a bizarre request for anyone to try to meet your tastes. Let goa your pride and accept things the way they are. Yes, Filteria/E-Mantra are without "real melodies" but they're really excellent faking people to dance in parties. I love real melodies too, but just how many times can you compose Hot Butter's Popcorn?
-
Awesome track... can't help you though. Hope you find out what it is!
-
Which Goa/NeoGoa artists have you seen live?
